Hello and welcome to the squad barracks. These barracks are the meeting grounds for the squads in a sense. Each barrack is fitted with a training court, showers, lockers, and common room. What are they for you may be asking, well allow me to explain.
The squads here on campus are usually groups of five to six but there have been exceptions. The squads work together as a team, they train together, and spend alot of time together in the barracks themselves. Being a military academy we make sure our students are ready for anything, so the Grande Battle Tour was introduced. This is an inner squad battle tournament, the winner receiving not only respect but a nice reward.
Each Squad will have a rank depending on their performance. Obviously the more attuned in battle the higher their rank, but we rank on other things as well, such as teamwork and class attendance. Are the ranks important, to some no, to others they are. The rank being just a number in itself is well just a number, or something to beat, or a symbol of respect. Your squad rank is what you make it, although we do encourage those to try their hardest.
Your barracks are basically your clubhouse, or home, depending on how you look at it. Beds are provided but they're not the comfiest thing you've slept on. We recommend some form of lodging in town over sleeping in the barracks. Each squad will have their own barracks, and each barracks will have their own squad. other squads are usually not allowed in another squads barracks.
We ask that you respect your squad leader and please, have fun.

As it stands there are Four squads opened. This doesn't mean there won't be more. Each squad will have a squad captain and each captain will be representative at the Grande Battle Tour and other squad events. Each Barrack is outfitted to help train your squad or get to know each other. The squad leader will also determine practice hours and such so that they may practice anything they think needs to be done in order to get ready for squad events.
Squad events will be announced a week in advance for practice time. If a squad event pertains to a certain aspect, say capture the flag or knock out tourneys, it would be best to prepare for them. Being a roleplay a panel of judges will be assigned for the squad events. Winners will be decided on performance in the event as well as other factors, so it's important to not only fine tune your team but learn to work with them as well.
Once positions are filled for a squad, members must submit a form of leave to the squad leader. It is then the squad leader's duty to fill that spot, not only will it put you at a disadvantage to the other squads, it disqualifies you from any up coming events that require a five man team.
If you'd like to file for a squad creation there are a few things you'll need. One, you must have three members at least to get started, yourself and two others. This helps with the recruitment in the sense of more eyes better chances. next will be a five hundred gold donation to the guild. It's not alot but it helps further the guild for all of us. Lastly, you will have to send in a form to be looked over for approval. Once approved the donations will be accepted, not before.
Once a week, the squad must submit to the Squad 1 leader a status report. This basically includes any changes to your roster, any title changes if you have any and the like. Any squad that fails to submit a status report twice in a row will be dissolved and the members will have to find a new squad or start their own. These status reports will be submitted via PM. If there is no changes or nothing to report then include so in your report. If a member needs to be removed from your squad then include a complaint report as well.
In a nutshell, Squads are your family if not your friends. Not only is training important, but so is getting to know each other. A team works better when they get along. The type of team you're in is dependent on how well you get along. If your goal as a squad leader is the top then seek out the strong, if your goal is a well oiled machine, seek out the social.
