Welcome, I'm Ran. I'm here to help balance the powaaaaaangle. (That's a powaaaaaaa and triangle combo for you.)
Anyways, if you're too shy to speak to your all-knowing leader, or you've had enough powaaaaaa for one day (which is impossible, one can never have too much powaaaaaa), feel free to come to me with your questions. I'll do my best to get an answer to you and to make sure that your experience with us at the Vangurren Military Academy is one to remember.

Well, good morning, everyone. I'm the Professor, and to be frank, I really have nigh on an idea what I'm doing here. However, I'll be the Captain for Squad 4. I'll leave it up to all of you to decide how lucky you are to be working under my expert tutelage. There are no direct consequences for procrastination and laziness; however, in return, I'm hardly to be held responsible if I decide to go around demoting or murdering people in a frenzy.
There are a great many things you'll learn during your stay here, but for the brightest of you, the most important will be the things you learn from me. As I'm fond of saying, 'The truly brilliant need only their mind.' With me in charge, you will learn individual combat tactics, effective ways to manipulate NPC's, and how to efficiently manage large groups of people in combat.
I'll take the wittiest of you, and together, we'll emerge victorious over the rest of the Academy.
Anyone else they send me will be Cannon Fodder.

Good. I suppose I'll be seeing you all again shortly, then.
