Alright. Every member will get their own personal page to put any characters, information or other...whatever that may be, in. This will give other members the chance to know who you are, look at what characters you've spent some time on, and so on and so forth.

(In case you missed it in our guild rules)
As far as questions towards characters go, let me give a basic guidline, if you still have questions about it or our rules, feel free to post it here so other members may read them as well.
Alright, this is a guild based around a past roleplay of mine, the only thing is it's twenty years later. As our story events go you'll learn the backstory along with other tidbits of information and as the chapters progress, new things will be added to the guild. So you may be asking how do characters work if we have such an open story and such. Well think of it like this. When you go to sign up for an MMO or something like that, they have you make a character, you can always come back and make more, but this is your first character, the one you get the hang of how things work. Well in a sense that's what you're doing here. For the most part, almost all of our threads will be in character, so you'll be needing to post that character in your profile, it's why it's there. As for what else you put in there it doesn't really matter, customize it how you'd like (More detail in the appropriate thread).
So your character will be made and it will be your main character, the character that everyone in the guild will speak and interact with in the barracks, classes, and events. Seeing as we have an open RP section, it's reasonable you'll want more characters to work with, so just post them in your profile under your main and label what you're using them for, or if you just want people to look at your past characters that's alright too, again customize how you'd like.
Ok so there's no real skeleton per say, you can include any and all info that you'd like on your character there's just a few rules and I'll put up the bare minimum of what you'll need for those of those who absolutely need a skeleton.
Alright so let's start with the rules, there's not many just a few things you should know.
1. Guns do not exist in this era. I know alot of you just went "aww this sucks" but look at it this way, if we have inner squad battles we can't have the students shooting at each other to kill, it just complicates things. We may introduce guns later for those of you that love to tote them but possibly just for events or unless we can come up with some sort of system that doesn't kill our students. Suggestions regarding this are always helpful.
2. Once we begin the story events, Mana will be explained in full detail. But until that time here's the run down. To put a small limit on magik and ability users, stones of mana or "Ether" are required to activate abilities. The "Ether" can be equipped to a piece of clothing or weapon but can't be held due to it's poisonous nature to humans. Again, once the prologue goes up it will be greatly explained.
3. As far as other races go, I don't necessarily mind at all, furries are kind of pushing it but again, I'm not biased here. Just come up with a good back story as to why a half wolf half albino peruvian snake man is attending a human military academy.
4. Weapons are obviously allowed, but as for their uses, they are only to be used on training premises such as the barracks, the event arena, or the battlegrounds in Town, any weapon used in classes or other non training facilities will earn you probation. Please include practice versions of your weapons, I.E. wooden swords etc.
5. Again, I ask that you be creative. I say this far too often and yet I still see people give me obviously copied material or pain stakingly similar story lines just names changed. We're all roleplayers because we love the feeling of creating something with intelligent people. No one wants that one person doing nothing but one liners and really bad dialogue. If you really are that new or just not experienced we are offering RP Combat training 101 and I'll run a "Making your character your own 101" in the classes forum. I'd recommend attending if you aren't sure on your abilities.

Customization
Alright, so once you've got a character it's important to establish what is what. So here's a small guide as to what exactly your profile should have on it.
1. As far as I care, your profile should just have your main character as your first character profile. What does this mean exactly? What I mean is, most of our threads are in character such as the classrooms, barracks, and event pages along with any other topics that our members want to post. So when I say main character, I mean the character that will represent you in the guild. Whether you're a teacher, student, or homeless guy, everyone will have a character so you're easily recognizable.
2. Once your main character is established, anything else on your profile is free game. If you have more characters you'd like to run, say a teacher and a student, pick one as your main and mark the other appropriately. Same goes for any other profiles you'd like to put up. If you're confused, please feel free to take a look at mine once It's moderately finished.
3. Lastly, I don't mind what else you post in there, you could put up links to songs you enjoy, a diary, your artwork, anything that you'd like. Just know we're limited due to the forum system for the guilds, so it's slightly difficult to make a profile page you'll enjoy, so it calls for some creativity.

And here is the "Base" skeleton. Please feel free to add anything you'd like to your character profile and make it your own.
Name: Position (Student or Teacher, Please remember Teachers must apply first): Weapon (if any): Ability (If any): Ether Attachment (where is it): Background: Appearance (Picture Optional):
Again, feel free to add anything you feel needs to be there, and I'm perfectly fine with you getting rid of the Parenthesis, they are there just as guidlines
