Year: December 23rd 2012 Location: New Havens main living area.
Sailor Gaia and her knight reclined in front of the fire, surrounded by the playing children of senshi, their parents were all out on patrol. It was getting late and was nearly time for bed.
"Time for bed children" Gregory announced and was greeted with cries of protest.
"Tell us a story first!" A young lad called out and was echod by his playmates.
Gregory and Gaia exchanged knowing looks.
"Alright, lets see, have we told you about the first senshi?" Gaia questioned the kids.
"Sailor Moon?"
"Galaxia?"
"Cosmos?"
Sailor Gaia shook her heard. "None of those children. I speak of Sol, the beginner, the shaper, the almighy, bringer of life in this solar system."

"We know now that senshi have existed all over the universe, many before our solar system was even formed. But here, it all began with Sailor Sol.
Sailor Sol was born when this system was nothing but a dust cloud. Powerful beyond our comprehension, she spent eons shaping and reshaping our system how she saw fit.
Much to her woe however, no life would spring from the planets she created. She would crush them and reform them over and over with each failure. She was lonely beyond measure.
It was because of this lonelyness she took out her own star seed and split it in two. She bound each piece to two small partially formed planets and sent them hurling at each other.
The star seed halves both shattered on collision, killing her instantly.
Two large pieces stayed intact, a golden one stayed with larger planet, which became earth. It would seed this planet with life.
A silver one stayed with the smaller planet, which became our moon.
The rest of the shards, too numerous to count were flung all across the solar system. Eventually these shards would make their way back to earth to be born as senshi. "

"It was from these shards came the Firsts. Every Ancient senshi has a predecessor, many in fact. I personally am the 26th Sailor Gaia, assuming our historians are counting correctly."
"The first group there was only five. Sailor Gaia, Bahamut, Brahma, Jupiter and Hades."
"Sailor Jupiter was an Ancient Senshi?" the children crowed.
"Not the same Jupiter I'm afraid. It's odd, we used to have senshi of the same names as Sailor Moons court of senshi, but they stopped being reborn when we were entombed. 10,000 years latter, senshi of the same name show up, but they share few characteristics with our old comrads. " Gregory Explained.
Sailor Gaia continued. "These first five fought bravely to defend the earth, time and time again. If you know anything about star seeds is that they have a sort of gravity between them. They tend to pull together, so as a senshi, your odds of running into other senshi is great. So as time passed more star seeds, and thus more Senshi popped up, usually when they were most needed. By the time we had come through our first millennium the vast majority of our ranks had been filled, although more would continue to trickle in during the coming millenniums. "
