Located in London. Kings Cross Train station is how Hogwarts Students arrive to Hogwarts. Via the Hogwarts Express, a Scarlet train, departing from Platform 9 and 3/4 on September 1st at 11AM.
The train will depart in our time, on January 9th 2011!

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx  J E S S I C A M A R I E H O W A R DJess ran foward at the wall between platforms nine and ten, instantly and magically entering the nine and three fourths platform at King's Cross station. She boarded the train when the time for it was called, and packed her things above her head in an empty compartment. She had gotten to the station earlier than usual, and the train wouldn't leave for another hour or so. All the better. She had claimed a compartment for herself and her friends, near the back of the train where all of the 'cool' kids sat. Jess sat in the chair closest to the window, overlooking the platform. She watched as a few other people entered the now-crowded platform, moving through the bustling crowds. Good thing she had gotten here when she had, a few more minutes, and all would be chaos.[ OutOfCows- [: Good music in third Icon

"Absolutely insane! That's what you are!" Riley snapped during the ride over. He had his arms stubbornly crossed, tired and slightly touchy from being woken up this morning. His reaction this morning to being woken up had scared their House Elf half to death. Astrid only rolled her eyes at her brother's ridiculous actions, staring contently out the window at the rolling green hills of Scotland. Though the estate that they lived at was gorgeous, the open land of Scotland contained a beauty all it's own. Passing this way for the last five years made her want to purchase a house out here just so she could see this view every day she woke up. That would be absolutely wonderful.
"Isn't that just too bad for you, Riley?" Astrid sighed, rolling her eyes. "How is it that you get up for Quidditch every morning?" She had opened up the thick book on her lap and began to read it. Riley stared at her for a bit before snorting indignantly and looking out the window. "Shut up, Astrid. Your logic won't work on me." She rolled her eyes and sighed. "And that's why you're not a Ravenclaw," she retorted, shaking her head.
They soon arrived at the train station, luggage and other things carefully stacked on a cart. The caged owl and hungry cat staring at it attracted plenty of stares but nobody seemed curious enough to ask. Either that or they were just shocked speechless by the two pushing the cart. True enough, the two of them had Veela blood running through them which made them a sore thumb in many places (except France). While Astrid despised the stares she got and how extra stupid boys acted around her, Riley took the fact as an advantage and swayed girls to his delight. The arse...
When arriving at the wall between platforms 9 and 10, the two made sure to double check for any watching muggles. Seeing that no one was paying any particular attention, Astrid clambered into the cart and grinned. While she was usually the strict one, this was one tradition they hadn't broken yet. Ever since the first day Astrid had begun Hogwarts, she always rode in the cart when the passed the wall. Checking one more time, Riley then ran at the wall and braced himself for an impact he would never feel.
On the other side, a good amount of students and their family had gathered on the platform. Collecting their luggage from the cart, they boarded the train to find a booth to sit in. While Astrid took this as a chance to continue reading in peace, Riley immediately set off to socialize and probably flirt with several girls. One day, it'll catch up with him, Astrid thought to herself with a sure nod. She may not know the exact day, but Riley was going to get in trouble because of his flirtatious habits.

Sophie Luna Rose Moon  Hufflepuff Beater Half-Blood Sophie got out of the Greens Car and hugged Skye and her husband goodbye, then walked into the train station looking back to wave at the kids as they left. The she walked over to platforms 9 & 10, Sophie quickly looked around to make sure no Muggles were watching her then ran straight at platform 9 (If i remember its nine) and was magically teleported to Platfom 9 3/4. Sophie smiled happily and handed her luggage to the men who were loading it, then entered the train looking for a compartment. "This should be a fun 6th year" Sophie whispered to herself.

Rose appeared an tripped into Platform 9 and she growled.Since she was in her robes she was a little annoyed that they got messy.She wiped it off and smiled.

Roxanne saw the what appeared to be solid barrier between platforms nine and ten. She took a quick look around her to see if anyone, specifically muggles, were watching her. she didn't hate muggles, she jsut hated the looks they gave wizards when they saw them disappear between the walls. with that thought, she smiled and ran for the wall with her eyes closed.
She felt the mist of the scarlet train brush upon her face, and she looked around, to see families in tears, and then there were those who were happy to rid of the children. Looking behind her shoulder, she saw her own father walking to her side.
After saying a few last minute goodbyes, Roxanne hugged her father, and walked aboard the train, with her little red bag in her arm.
(ooc.. sorry i said the train would depart earlier today, but my family got to caught up in football playoffs, (go ravens!) anywhoo, please post that you are boarding the train, and i will have it depart now.. thanks, Akkii)

⚡"Both of us know that was completely unfair," James snapped as he and Kaylin crossed over to platform 9 3/4. Not only was he dragging along his own trunks, he had offered to carry Kaylin's and slightly regretted it. He wasn't going to say anything about it though. That would ruin his image quite some. "You had a head start and not only that, but I had to make sure Teddy, Albus, and Lily were up."
⚡Once boarded on the train, he searched around a bit before finding one of the few seats left open. James then hefted the luggage overhead before sitting down with a sigh. Looking out the window, he saw that the crowd in the platform was beginning to clear and the train was beginning to fill, becoming nosier by the second. That could only mean that they were getting ready to leave. Hopefully, the others had made it over in time.

Lexie walked around platform 9 and 3/4, she knew she was running late, and didn't have time for long goodbyes. She kissed her mum and dad, and off she ran to the train, a smile covered up with her long blond hair.

From what I've tasted of desire
I hold with those who favor fire. Annabelle had awoken early that morning, just to make sure she didn't forget anything. Her mother, of course, had gotten up with her, also to make sure she didn't forget anything. "Do you have all of your books?" "Yes, mum." "Are you sure?" "Checked twice," "Plenty of clothes?" "More than enough," "I think you've got everything," "Gee, thanks," they chatted back and forth, remembering little things like quills and her potions kit in the few minutes they had left together until Christmas.
Sinclaire, Chris, and Jr. would never wake up if they didn't have to. They stayed in bed while her parents got up to say goodbye to her. She didn't need them to take her to the station, she was seventeen now, she could easily just apparate. "Have fun this year, do your best," her father spoke to her, giving her a hug goodbye. She did the same to her mother before holding her breath and apparating to King's Cross Station.
She arrived in a stall in the women's restroom. She had all of her belongings in her black shoulder bag using an undetectable extention charm of course. Annabelle walked out of the bathroom and towards the gateway to Platform 9 and 3/4, checked for muggles, and made her way through to the other side.
There, the large crimson train was waiting for her and the other students to board. It was kinda sad, knowing this was the last time she'd ever board the train other than coming home. With a deep sigh, she boarded the train, glancing into each compartment until she came across one that held the one and only James Potter. She slid the door open and poked her head in. "Oh, hello James, d'you mind?" she asked with a smile, eyes averting to the empty seats that accompanied him.
But if it had to perish twice,
I think I know enough of hate
To say that for destruction ice
Is also great
And would suffice.

She could get them later. She spotted a Gryffindor she kind of knew, and decided that it was better than no one. Jess smiled at the girl "Hey, Annabelle. Mind if I sit with you?" she asked the girl with her head half in a compartment. ⚡James only laughed in response, holding her hand and kissing the top of her head. "I am - but both of us know I can't stay angry at you for too long," he murmured softly to her, eyes drifting outside to stare out the window as the train began to lurch forward and out of the station. For little while, it was just the two of them. Then, just as he was beginning to doze off, he heard a voice from the compartment door. Blinking his eyes open, he saw and recognized fellow Gryffindor Annabelle. Smiling, he waved and invited her in, saying, "Not at all. Come in..."
⚡Seconds after he said that, another voice piped up. Tilting his head to see who it was, he resisted the urge to get hostile. He only sat up a little straighter, still letting Kaylin rest her head on his shoulder, and curtly said to Jess, "If you don't say anything particularly nasty."

Kaylin smiled."Of course we do."She said as she put her head back on his shoulder and yawned.After hearing a voice she woke up again.She shrugged and went back to sleeping on James' shoulder.After another voice Kaylin woke up.This time she wasn't gonna sleep."Yah like saying I'm the M word"She sighed.Even though she was sure Jess wouldn't because the savior of the wizard world's son was her boyfriend.Kaylin gave up at sleeping and just held James' hand.She took out a water bottle and offered it to James.She put her hair behind her ear and straightened her head-band.As the train drifted faster by the second she had to fix her yellow shirt.With a wave of her wand she switched to her school robes.They were almost there anyways.
