So there has been alot of rumors why Invader Zim went off air,Some people think its because of bloody GIR wicth I have not seen him in the theme song but I have seen pictures off the internet of it, SO my questions to you, "What rumors have you heard about the ending of Invader Zim?" "And why do YOU think it got cancled? Just a bit curious!^-^

It got moved from Nickelodeon to Nick Jr. and then it was labelled too dark for kids and got removed completely. I think..

Really? thats one of the only ones i've heard. and that why it now plays at midnight on Nick, they found a slot, but only late. stupid people.

well i don't think it's off air at all... i got my sisters hooked on it... and now they watch it on TV every weekend that i'm with them.

well i heard that Invader Zim had alot of viewerz, just not from the right audiance. they were wanting Invader Zim to be for young kids but instead they got teenage audiance, then nickelodeon canceled them for another kids show to fill in its spot...

idt its low ratings...almost every high-skooler iv met (tho i havnt met many) either no or luuuv the show...so i dont believe the low rating thing is true...
but idk if its the bloody gir either...ya theres one OBVIOUS one in the intro of episode "Mortoes Der Soulstealer" but wen it plays nomal u cant notic it very well...plus wen iv sen other pics and videos of the bloody gir thing they put a circle around the spot where they THINK they see bloody gir...but i dont see a thing...just 2 circles sometimes...
i just think it wasnt for the rite viewers...i think it was for like...6 year olds but ppl under 8 probably wont even get the whole thing...plus there parents are stalkers of tv and probably watched it with them and said to Nick that it was dark...or stuff like that
it was a relly dark show, i agree, but i love it and its super funny...thats just how it is!

To the first post, its in the opening themesong scene on the episode "Mortos de Soulstealer" (luv that ep. xp ) right as the pipes are flying at the screen. I've seen it myself, bought the dvd and played it frame by frame where my friend told me too. Its surprisingly clear, but its only there for a split second.
AS to y IZ was cancelled, ive heard from alot of people that parents and christian groups complained it was immoral( *cough cough* dark harvest *cough*) and it was taken off. idk if thats tru or not, but its the one ive heard of most. Hell, im just thankful they brought it back. too bad there wont be anymore episodes, tho. crying

I know, weird right? i acutally heard of JTHM first and was a fan, and when someone told me vasquez now had a hilarious show on nick, it kinda freaked me out eek thankgod it was made, tho. one of the best shows ive ever had the fortune to find.

invader zim got canclled beacuase it did not get enough veiwers it says so on the wikipedia and many other reacourses but after it got cancled the show gained a cult following (a lot more publisity) so... yea
