so as some of you may know adventure time gets really deep in the character development & only hints at what's really happening

after re-watching it came from the nightosphere i have come to the conclusion that Marceline's dad isn't her biological father but rather the one who turned her into a vampire
since vampires have a very confusing not quite platonic family like relationship it would make sense that she would doubt his love over fries (which is an argument commonly used in tv shows between couples)

thus Marceline & "the lord of evil" (as referred to in design documents) are closer to being lovers than family
any thoughts on my over-analyzation?

Perhaps it's more like soul mates, but not in a lustful way. Like, he changed her into a vampire, which made their souls get bonded together. He pretty much owns her, but it's not like they're TOGETHER, perse.
