Fire Lord Ozai zoomed through the strange rock pillars of Wulong Forest, emitting fire from his feet like rockets and propelling him forward. Gritting his teeth, he dared to look back and saw the Avatar at his most powerful-- the Avatar State. Aang was flying towards him, levitating in a force-field of all four elements: air, fire, earth, and water. The bald Airbender's eyes and tattoos were illuminating a demonic white light-- an effect of the Avatar State.
Aang flicked his wrist, and a stream of water grasped Ozai's leg, curling around his body like a snake. Ozai gasped as he was entirely entrapped by the water. Aang unceremoniously threw him onto the rock pillar and chained his arms and legs with rock fetters. The Fire Lord held back fear from his expression, instead showing anger on his face.
Aang lowered himself slightly, opening his mouth. As if speaking in a magical trance, out come several voices combined, all the past Avatars judicially handing out Ozai's final verdict.
"FIRE LORD OZAI, YOU AND YOUR FOREFATHERS HAVE DEVASTATED THE BALANCE OF THIS WORLD," the Avatar boomed. "NOW, YOU SHALL PAY THE ULTIMATE PRICE."
Ozai was now clearly scared, afraid of the 112-year-old boy who was as powerful as all the bending masters in the world combined. With his mouth wide open, he awaited his inevitable demise.
Aang made several arm motions, and a serpent of all four elements appeared, about to skewer Ozai. Just then, the light faded from his tattoos, as did the elemental serpent. Aang blinked and set himself down on the top of the rock pillar, snapping out of the Avatar State. Looking away from Ozai, he closed his eyes remorsefully. "No... I'm not gonna end it like this."
Ozai got up on his knees, his hair chaotic, like a madman's. "Even with all the power in the world," he said in a gruff voice, "you are still weak!" Lunging forward, he sent a blast of fire, but was blocked by a wall of earth which snared his hand.
Aang spun around, erecting another wall of earth which snared his other hand as the fallen tyrant attempted to attack him again. Aang forced him to his knees and blew him with air, forcing the Fire Lord to lean backwards as the Avatar grabbed his hair and chest. He closed his eyes and summoned the power in him...
Blue light radiated from his eye and mouth, shooting into the sky like lasers. Red light shot out from a scared Ozai. Suddenly Aang was engulfed in what seemed like blue ash, while Ozai was engulfed in bright red. Red light seem to invade Aang's body, but the blue light fought back and filled the battlefield...
A consolidated blue beam shot up from the rock pillar, signaling to everyone nearby. Finally the light died down, and Ozai collapsed from exhaustion. "What... what did you do to me?"
"I took away your Firebending," replied Aang, who suddenly seemed several years wiser. "You can't use it to hurt or threaten anyone else ever again." He then stepped to the edge of the stone formation. With a flourish, he had the water extinguish the fires of the Wulong Forest...

Fire Lord Ozai was defeated, and Avatar Aang had triumphed.

It has been 70 years since then. In that time, Avatar Aang had died a peaceful death, surrounded by his aged wife Katara and other friends. Fire Lord Zuko had died earlier, as did Chief Hakoda and the Earth King.

The new Airbenders-- offspring and descendants of Aang and Katara-- have repopulated the planet, and the Air Temples are once again filled with life and joy.

A brief war, started out as dispute over the former Fire Colonies in the Earth Kingdom, lasted for less than a decade between the Fire Nation and Earth Kingdom, and was known as Kajo's War. The horrors of Sozin's War were repeated at a much smaller scale. Six years have passed since Kajo's War ended... new leaders are to take their thrones, new friendships are to be formed, new romances...

A fragile peace remains to today. Non-benders, inspired by the legendary hero Sokka from the days of Avatar Aang, have invented many new machines over the course of six decades, and have contributed much to society. However, the work of the non-benders are seemingly unappreciated by the benders, who think themselves superior. Non-benders seem to be discontent as this.

Nevertheless, a new Avatar will arise, bringing hope in potentially troubling times and a peace of mind for the world...
