Although Hui Ying doesn't trust people firsthand, she quickly opens up too. She sees the good in people, frequently overlooking someone's past to give second chances. Her confidence easily leads her across her travels, being fooled once or twice by an avised traveller. She's not that gullible. Just kind-hearted. Hui Ying's not afraid to speak out her mind or point out random things out of the environment. Sometimes it's strange or just plain annoying. She's a cheery young adult, hoping to find her right place in life. Some other details would include her eloquent way of talking. It can disturb people, being so respectful and polite and then become widely childish and familiar although she only gets scolded by friends of her age.Likes:‡♦ Snoozing or day-dreaming in the high comfort of a tree. ‡♦ Doodling shapes with airbending. Surprising what you can do with a puff of dirt on the ground. ‡♦ Eating sweets or drink coconut milk treats. ‡♦ Studying under the watchful guise of any art master. ‡♦ Messing around with overly serious people (or loner types, it depends.)Dislikes:‡♣ Bragging ne'er do wells ‡♣ Losing stuff, which happens a lot. ‡♣ Sour AND bitter foods at the same time. That tart feeling never leaves her mouth. Oh and alcohol too, never had any in her whole life and will continue doing so. ‡♣ Sleezy, vain and scaredy cat guysHates:‡♠ Controlling government ‡♠ Fire Nation war balloons ‡♠ Unfair judgement that restraint herLoves:‡♥ Open-aired spaces / Nature ‡♥ Whimsical music, paintings, trinkets and other sparkling things ‡♥ Feeling the adrenaline of floating/gliding/flying around or being right.Greatest Fear:‡ѯ To be trapped or held within the Spirit World against her will or any other paranormal places. She's also afraid of seeing her love ones die right in front of her where she can't do anything to help them.ₒ◊˺ʡ͒⁞‖ STORYTELLING THE PAST‖⁞ʢ͒˹◊ₒ Origin of Birth: Eastern Air Temple Biography: « - Are you really expecting me to talk about myself ? Aren't you afraid to start nodding off track after just a few sentences ? No ? Okay then. My coming into the world happened on a summer's day, at the Eastern Air Temple. It's strange being born into the Air Nation. I didn't get to know my family much, since I was ''shifted'' immediately to live at the Temple. Sure, I got to live my first four years with my mother, father and brother. I wished I knew them better. My fate was truly sealed when I manifested airbending skills (I made my baby brother ''fly'' around with airballs), it only confirmed a life of monks looking over me. The first days were rough, saying goodbye to a protective family. I tried playing around with the other girls but they just didn't understand me. My first guess would be because of my half heritage. I was born from an air nomad mother and an earth kingdom peasant. Lots of family friends said that I took more from mom and my brother otherwise, which proved to be the truth since he never showed any bending abilities. My second guess must've been my off-putting nature. I wasn't much ''lady-like'' at the time. I exhibited strange behavior. Seems that one minute I could be very respectful and then start babbling nonsense about how sky bisons could be like the sky's pillow or we were all descended from the same person. Wasn't there a genocide ? Wouldn't that mean that we were all distant relatives of Avatar Aang ? Looks like a hundred years is enough to dilute all those blood-relative nonsense. Then, I'm born from an airbending mother, a earth kingdom father and descended from the love an avatar airbender and a waterbender. That's... Unique but not really important right now.
The monks there were really nice. Living in some sort of a women synagogue wasn't that bad. Our master was patient, that's for sure. We all learned little tricks and there, nothing serious. I really wanted to go far, master all the tiers of airbending and eventually receive my own set of tattoos. The thing I loved the most was flipping and kicking around the set of poles, showing off each other's agility and swiftness; in all modesty of course. I appreciated sitting outside in the courtyard on a sunny day, meditating. Only then could I regulate my breath and control my breath of wind. By now, I was about nine years old of age. It was then that I discovered music, art.
That was a stepping stone in my life. Some troubadours had decided to travel to the top of our domain. The reason of their presence was unknown, who'd want to climb just to entertain ladies ? I discovered a true expression, something that the monks didn't necessarily hint on with all our spiritual studies and worship. A man from the group left me with a flute, something that I cherish a lot. It was a simple wood tube with holes. In time, and a lot of practice, I managed to carve vine-like drawings with flying lemurs and arrow tattoo designs. My favorite thing to do was throw it in the air, bending little gust of wind and breezes through it so the sound could resonate all around the room. While I was out, making aerial music as I call it, a bird snatched down at me. It left a claw mark on my shoulder, ripping my tunic. I never understood what happened. Was it a sign that my place was not at the Temple ? Was it mad because of my carefree attitude ? Questions never answered. It was at that moment that I decided that I wanted to do something else with my life.
It was only at the age of fifteen that I took action. I went to my elders and bowed down. My determination must have showed. They let me go. I promised that I would return, in order to complete my mastership of airbending. I'd learn all the basics at the time, although I was still struggling with barriers, swipes and waves of air. They assured me that they'd keep a place for me and not worry so much since I could always learn from other instructors or self-study by observing things and acquire scrolls. My teacher gave me a parchment, it was a letter from my family stating that they lived in the Lower Ring of Ba Sing Se. I thought that I could take my time getting there, travelling the world was a dream of mine.
When the sky bison caretaker dropped me off near an Earth Kingdom village it was freedom. I think I spent at least an hour just dancing and jumping around cheering. Some travellers even looked down on me, an intrigued face of confusion spawning a grin. I'm sure they were trying hard not to burst with laughter. I celebrated with my own tattoo, a simple raccoon, done by a questionable artist. There's still four more years to catch up, but that's enough. I'm getting tired. So maybe you'll see me, be sure to say hi ! Might've finally found my true place in the world by then.»Family ∫:҉ґZhi, Dàwei |NPC|: He's my father. The last news I have of him, he owns a little restaurant in the Lower Ring of Ba Sing Se. ∫ ҉ґZhi, Ah-lam |NPC|: Can you guess ? Mom ! I care a lot for her, even if she's not a great accomplished bender. Seems that women in my family doesn't do things the right way. She helps out father with his restaurant but she also sells jade bracelets. ∫ ҉ґ Zhi, Ming-hoa |NPC|: Baby brother ! He's three years younger than me, hard-headed too ! He works a lot and does random jobs for various villagers. Hunting, farming, cleaning stalls... A serious workaholic and main victim of my teasing. ∫ ҉ґ Heng|NPC|: It's the name of my sky bison, which means ''eternal''. I first met him when I was about 7 years old. He looks so cute ! With those droopy ears and little horns ! I know we can do great things together. He's really huge, about 8 tons of weight ! Heng's a bit smaller than his companions, I heard he weighs two tons less than the original Appa. ∫ ҉ґ Ting Ting|NPC|: Slim and graceful, that female lemur is really a good friend. We became friends after she stole my airbending scroll. It was trying to build a home ! Good thing I saved my parchment before it got ripped. She has three white rings on her tail and a brownish spot on her left hair. There's a scruffle of fur on her chest too. Theme Song: Becca - I'm Alive !Forgotten Info: She's left-handed and loves to do artwork, very curious about how humans found their way to express their creativity. Hui Ying wishes to learn the most techniques avaiable and has origami, paintwork, flute & zither playing and a majority of dances in her sleeves.Extras: I took four tests and each of them had the same result: Airbender ! It's kinda strange being in a literate guild. I can be extremely literate but the problem is the only case I'll even fill one or two Word pages of roleplaying is in french or if there's actually someone out there who would like to write with me. I just adapt to the level of whom I'm interacting with.

Everything seems good. Good and neat profile, unique character, and to top it off, you used one of those Avatar quizzes...
Approved.

Thank you ! I take my roleplayer pride-and-joy with precise profiles xD With all the ''revamping'' going on, are there still airbending masters lingering around ? I would love to get that ranking higher sometime after I start roleplaying everywhere.

Unfortunately, there aren't any Airbending masters left... about the open positions, I'll have them posted up later.
