Omashu is the most famous Earth Kingdom city and powerful stronghold near the west coast of the Earth Kingdom. It is perhaps the second most populous and second largest city in the nation, after Ba Sing Se. The city is also very well known for its famous delivery system powered by Earthbending and gravity.Omashu is located in the Kolau Mountain Range in the southwestern Earth Kingdom. The city is built on a number of hills, and is surrounded by a wide gorge. These natural defenses have made it hard for the city to be conquered, and thus the city is relatively unguarded and the number of its defending soldiers relatively low compared to other towns and cities.
