Welcome to the Annual NFL Guild Pick of the Week 2010. We will be selecting the winners from 5 NFL games. After you have selected the winning team your choice is final. You must post the teams you are selecting here. Do not PM me your choices. If you don't post here who you are selecting I won't know. Once you have posted you choices here I will add your name to the list of people participating in the event. Remember that this guild event is free. We will keep a record of your wins and the person with the most wins or perhaps win percentage not only gets the bragging rights, but 5000 gold. Or maybe more if I can actually access the guild account...

Last week of the regular season already. Seems like only yesterday we were doing predictions for week 1.

Minnesota at Detroit- Tuesday night the Vikings had a huge upset over playoff bound Philadelphia. But it is still questionable if Favre will play or not, and for that matter the short week they now have to prepare for their finale, which they also go on the road for. Detroit has been playing teams tough, and have managed to win consecutive road games in a row for the first time in ages. I like the streak they are on.
WINNER- DETROIT LIONS

Miami at New England- Last year at this time the Patriots played their starters and lost Wes Welker due to injury, the result led to a divisional round elimination. With home field wrapped up will Bill play his starters? Even if he doesn't the Dolphins have been struggling pretty bad, including going 1-7 at home. Even with reserves in I think the Pats will take this one.
WINNER- NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS

San Diego at Denver- After missing the playoffs while having the leagues #1 defense and #2 offense, we could be witnessing Norv Turner's final game in San Diego. Tim Tebow was productive and impressive last week in their come from behind win over Houston, but the Chargers aren't going to be nearly as much of a push over, they'll be playing for pride as well.
WINNER- SAN DIEGO CHARGERS

Jacksonville at Houston- The Jaguars need a win and a Colts loss or Tie to win the division and make it into the playoffs. I think a win over a hapless Texans team I believed in from day one is very likely, but the Colts are fired up and playing playoff ball, their win over Oakland with an impressive run game shows that. The Jags will win this game, but will miss the playoffs.
WINNER- JACKSONVILLE JAGUARS

St. Louis at Seattle- This match is kinda like winning an ugly contest isn't it. The Rams under rookie QB Sam Bradford has been really impressive. Even if they win and finish the division with an 8-8 record, seeing where they were last year, improving to .500 would be such a huge thing for this franchise that I have no qualms about them being the division champions and going into the playoffs. Seattle is a mess, they started the season with so much potential, but in all of their losses, they are averaging losses by 20 points, that's pretty bad.
WINNE- ST. LOUIS RAMS

Recap- Lions, Patriots, Chargers, Jaguars, Rams

Detroit Lions- 17
Minnesota Vikings- 14

Lions win whether Favre plays or not

New England Patriots- 28
Miami Dolphins- 17

Patriots are too talented and carry too much momentum to lose this game

Denver Broncos- 24
San Diego Chargers- 21

I'm just a sucker for Tebow, ok? I admit it, I can't pick against him.

Jacksonville Jaguars- 21
Houston Texans- 17

Nothing to play for Houston vs. A QB (Trent Edwards) that not even the Bills want on their roster. Least confident pick all year long.

St. Louis Rams- 28
Seattle Seahawks- 18

Sam Bradford's biggest game of his life. Previous 2 biggest games of his life (2 BCS games at Oklahoma, his team went 0-2) He breaks the slump in Seattle.

Recap: Lions, Patriots, Broncos, Jaguars, Rams
