The Past
Luminitsa was born with a gypsy mother, but an outsider father. Her father wanted her and her mother to leave their gypsy heritage so they could come live with him. Her mother begged for him not to make her choose because she knew no matter how much she loved someone she would always stay true to her gypsy roots. Her father left and so her mother and her went off to find their own home, dropping their last name. By the time Luminitsa was six, they had walked through almost the entire forest. Luminitsa was tired and wondered why her mother was making her wander around so much. But just as Luminitsa was close to falling asleep, the hidden village showed itself to them. Her mother told her that this would always be their home no matter what happened. That as long as they kept in touch with nature they would always be welcomed here. And ever since then, Luminitsa grew among the gypsies. She was given the fire spirit for her fiesty attitude and her determination for strength. She was happy here. Though because of her father, she would never like the outsiders. To her they were not to be trusted. As Luminitsa got older, her mother became more ill. The gypsy healers had tried everything they could to help ease her mother's pain but there was nothing they could do to avoid the inevitable. Her mother passed away when Luminitsa was only fifteen. The gypsies let her bury her by her mother's favorite tree and then planted flowers to represent her mother's spirit. Luminitsa then met Talaitha who took her into her home with her family.
Even though Talaitha was a water spirit and Luminitsa was fire, they became very close. They had so much in common and so much they could teach each other. They marked themselves as spirit sisters or soul twins and have vowed to always protect each other. They're inseperable and you can rarely find one without the other. Luminitsa had learned not be sad over her mother's death because Talaitha said she was in a happier place where nothing could harm her. Luminitsa still visits her mother's grave and usually replants any dead flowers so that her grave would always be beautiful. But as things finally became peaceful for her, the four outsiders had found their village. She begged everyone not to let them in that they could only bring harm, but Talaitha convinced everyone to give them a chance. Luminitsa spends as much time away from the outsiders as she can and keeps them away from any of the burial sites. She doesn't want the outsiders here no matter how many times Talathia says she'll change her mind.
Other
She's strong and has her own opinion on many things. She doesn't trust easily because of what happened with her mother and her father. She believes love is a waste of time for gypsies especially if they fall in love with outsiders. She has a short temper but if you're on her good side she can be extremely sweet. She's close to Talaitha and she's the only person she'll tell everything too. She likes to train and wants to learn as many fighting skills as she can. She dreams of one day traveling around to other gypsy villages so she can see the entire world herself. She knows that if she wants to be truly happy she has to let down her walls. Which she will do when she pleases. She's cautious and suspicious of outsiders but is very outgoing towards the other gypsies. She loves to dance and perform rituals or just have a bonfire to celebrate life. Fire is her spirit and she was told that whenever she needs guidance she can always go to the fire. Though that is a gift she is still trying to master. There are still so many things she has to learn about this life and she is determined to learn as much as she can while she can.

☠Losing her sister and her home

☠Outsiders contaminating the water
The Past
Talaitha was born into the gypsy village but wasn't given a last name. Her mother was a healer and her father was one of the many gypsy warriors that protect their village from any threats. Talaitha was given the water spirit by birth and as she grew up she realized why. She always danced in the rain as a child and she would spend most of her time swimming. And if she wasn't playing with the water, she was helping her mother with medicines. Talaitha did always know how to have fun though and she was always making her mother laugh. In fact, her and her mother were two of the few healers who tried to save Lumitsa's mother's life. That's how they met. Talaitha couldn't imagine the pain the girl was going through and let her into her home. Her mother didn't mind and her father found Lumintsa to be very intriguing. He would help Lumintsa train while Talaitha would learn different healing skills. But it only took the girls a few days to become closer and eventaully spirit sisters. They then spent all their time helping each other any way they could. And even though their elements were total opposites, they would only get closer. They shared stories and even made some up about future travels they might have one day. They were always the best of friends. But they did hit a rocky bump in the road with the outsiders.
When the outsiders found their village she could feel Lumintsa's rage. She knew that her friend would do anything to get rid of the outsiders maybe even kill. But Talaitha promised her dear friend that things would be ok if they gave the outsiders a chance. She didn't believe in killing to justify anything and she didn't want her friend to let her rage get the best of her. She answers some of the outsiders questions and teaches them a few things about their culture in hopes that they won't harm them. She thinks the outsiders might be able to convince other outsiders that the gypsies aren't bad people at all. Just different. Yet she doesn't fully trust the outsiders herself. But she has a feeling only good can come from them being here and the entire village hopes that she is right.
Other
Talaitha is always keeping Lumintsa calm and is always too trusting of people. She believes that if she can get the outsiders to like them, not only would it help gypsies be accepted into society, but it'll also help the rivers and lakes that are being contaminated by pollution. She's always very loving and helps her mother teach children about different medicines or anything they're interested in. Talaitha is a bright and wise girl and yet there is still so much she does not know. She likes to see people happy and always tries her best to make sure she can ease anyone's pain. Some believe that her trust in others may get her into trouble, but she's a loving gypsy and she can't help it. She's optimistic and hopes that things can change for her people. Gypsies have the right to live where they please and should be able to keep their ways of life. They shouldn't have to change to fit into a world they truly don't want to be in.

The Past
Kayden was born to full gypsy parents though she never met them. They left her in this village when she was a baby, only leaving her with the gift of the shadow spirit. Kayden was raised by the other gypsies in the village but never fit in. She was a dark, mysterious girl and never seemed to like anyone else. She always kept to herself in the shadows and was the outsider of the village. She mainly raised herself and doesn't have any friends. Her life has been fairly simple though many wonder if she is ever lonely since she spends all her time alone. She dreams of one day leaving the village and going off on her own, because she hates being stuck in the village. Then, the Outsiders came. Kayden had been spying on humans since she first found out about them. She, luckily, was never spotted and found them to be very interesting creatures. Now, some are in her village and Kayden is very interested in watching them. Unlike the others, she doesn't fear the humans and is more curious then scared about them.
Other
Kayden is a very fierce, mysterious girl. She isn't one that will be happy and rarely smiles. She is very dark and mainly keeps to herself in the shadows. She prefers to be alone and is known to have a very harsh temper. She is very rebellious and sometimes refuses to do what she is told. Kayden hates peaceful things and would much rather be fighting or hunting then sitting around in the village. She wants to someday leave the village and go off on her own. She is very sly and sneaky which results in her being a very good spy.

The Past
Kamikaze "Kaze" was born into a gypsy family. When he was growing up none of the other gypsies knew what gift he had. Simply because he either didn't know, or just chose not to show it. Now, a lot, if not most of the other kid gypsies would make fun of him because when ever he was playing, it seemed like he was playing with nothing. When in reality, Kamikaze was playing with the wind. No one, no one except his mother, who died giving birth to him, knew what his name meant. When they were getting everything ready she said to his dad. "If it's a boy, name it Kamikaze" because apparently she had a feeling that she wasn't going to make it. She said "if it's a girl, name it anything you want. But if it's a boy. Please, give him the name Kamikaze" She was the only person so far, who knew that his name meant "Wind" and ironically, wind is his gift. But even now, not many people know exactly his gift, and Kaze is okay with that. Kamikaze isn't as scared of the humans as some of the gypsies, but he doesn't totally trust them either. He stands somewhere in between.
Other
Kamikaze is usually sweet, but his emotions stay the same just about as much as wind does. So his emotions tend to change without warning. But usually, he's sweet and caring, kind and gentle. He has a soft spot for animals, for some reason, snakes are his favorite though. Kamikaze has a breathtaking smile and loves it when peace is in the air. He's not a big fan of violence.
