I felt twice in HP6 that Harry was too confident when it came to giving Kreacher instruction. The first was when he sent Kreacher to tail Malfoy. My very first thought was, "This will go horribly wrong." Then, of course, he goes on to give instructions, "Do not speak to him, write to him, or contact him in any way." It seemed obvious to me, though it must not have to Rowling, for Harry to instruct Kreacher to never be seen by Malfoy as well. Harry's plan, of course, went off without complication, but I wasn't put at ease. It was only as soon as we discover that Kreacher and Dobby have succeeded in tailing Draco without accruing suspicion that Harry again slips up. Harry's final instructions to Kreacher (and with these instructions come the last time we hear from the elf in this story) are to "Get out of it."
Should Harry not be much more careful, as the last time Kreacher was told to "Get out" (by Sirius in HP5), he interpreted the instructions as a chance to escape to Bellatrix? Perhaps I worry too much, but I think the elf would be better off with his head mounted to the wall, like his ancestors.
