Ah yes, The Fall and especially Tideland are good examples of that. It has been a while since I've seen Pan's Labrinth.. I should watch it again.
I think Coraline was trying to go for all ages of audiences, though.

Tear-Ruh Ah yes, The Fall and especially Tideland are good examples of that. It has been a while since I've seen Pan's Labrinth.. I should watch it again. I think Coraline was trying to go for all ages of audiences, though. I think that The Fall is my favorite movie on my list there. Yeah I understand about Coraline that it is for all ages, but I felt that it was more then just a kids movie.

Yeah I understand about Coraline that it is for all ages, but I felt that it was more then just a kids movie. It wasn't my absolute favorite, but I thought The Fall was good too. Very unique.

I love Coraline. It was probably for all ages but it was awesome for the adults too.
9 was kind of like that for me to it just had this feel that it was for both or the adults

Ooh, just thought of a great one: Stand By Me. Also, Oliver. Does a Clockwork Orange count? The main characters were supposed to be much younger than the actors...

I think I was like six when I first saw it. Dad thought that, since it's an animation and has kids in it, it's a kiddy flick and decided to rent it for me. In short, bricks were shat.
Aaaand I'd like to second Pan's Labyrinth and Let The Right One In.
