{Dwarves}
Dwarves are known to be the most stubborn species of humanoid. They have a strong resistance to magic, and therefore cannot cast it, and are well known for their craftsmanship, especially in weapons. They develop some of the finest weapons and armor, and ensure their goods are high in quality. They have a high tolerance for pain, and are normally very strong.
Dwarves tend to average about the size of a typical eleven year old human. They have (if male) long beards and braided hair, or (if female) simple braided hair, but very muscular and stocky figures. They tend to resort to a more barbaric way of life, and tend to be greedy, gathering riches and treasures by the many. A weakness to the typical Dwarf's heart is any form of precious gem or metal that would ensure them some sort of fortune. They are loud, competitive, yet loyal, and will almost never let down an ally in a fight.
There are few known Dwarven Dragon Riders, however it is possible, and more likely than Elven Dragon Riders.
Dwarves can most likely be found in the Fighter's Guild, as that form of battle is what they specialize in. One will never find a Dwarf partaking in a Mages Guild or Assassins Guilds... they are not nearly as nimble or secretive and do not possess any form of magical powers. Their strength outmatches the typical human athletic male, however, and for this reason they tend to carry huge hammers or axes that weigh more than their own bodies.
They tend to live in mines, or small caverns, or anywhere where mining precious gems or metals is available in abundance.
Their life-spans range from birth to about 150-170 years of life...
