Julianna Marie Sanders  Julianna walked along the streets of the housing districts one night on her way from the cafe and noticed a small apartment advertising room for two available. She grinned and walked over, knocking on the Tenant's door. There was a middle-aged man answering the door looking grumpy. Julianna curtsied and pointed to the apartment she spotted. "Excuse me, sir. I'm new in town and need a place to stay. Would you allow me to stay in apartment 203? I'd like to also look for my own co-renter." The man nodded and held out a contract for her to sign. After twenty long minutes of signing and bargaining, she was handed a set of keys and now a renter of apartment 203. The man only requested that a female would be her co-renter rather than a male to avoid conflicts.
Julianna entered the apartment and looked around. There were two bedrooms, a kitchen, a living room, one full bathroom, one half bathroom, and even a small room for laundry washing and drying. She walked through and began taking note of which bedroom she wanted and what cupboards she would need for herself. All utilities were included and she had her first month's payment already waiting to pay the tenant waiting at the cafe if she got the job. Who could she get to room with her? Then the thought hit her. Maybe she could ask the younger girl at the cafe. What was her name... Lorelei? She nodded to herself and decided to lay down on her bed she had claimed after locking the door, setting her alarm for 6am to get up and head to the cafe by 7. It was going to be a long day tomorrow.

Lorelei had thanked Cecilia for allowing her to stay the night and she wanted to offer to pay for the favor, but C.C. wanted to be friends and so Lori decided it might be off-putting to ask. Instead, she headed out early the next morning to find a place to stay.
C.C. had mentioned the other girl...was it Julianna? At any rate, Lori was told that she was also looking for a place to stay and possibly for a roommate.
Okay...deep breaths...you've already sort of seen her, so...no big deal... Lori paused in front of Room 203 to get her courage up. Hi! I'm Lorelei...I was at Cafe Himawari the other day and C.C. told me you were looking to room with somebody. I'm looking for a place to stay too...perhaps we can be roommates?
Lori went through her lines several more times in her head before knocking lightly. She hugged Soot to her chin as she waited for the door.
Um...I hope she won't mind Soot...

Julianna Marie Sanders Julianna awoke around 6:30am and began getting dressed in her white and green dress. Suddenly there was a knock on the door that caused her to stop brushing her long hazel hair. Opening the door, she saw a familiar young girl standing there and holding a cat. Just the girl she wanted to see. "Can I help you, Lorelei?" She smiled politely. She only had 20 minutes before she would have to be on her way.

Lori blushed as Julianna recognized her and called her by name. It threw her off of her lines.
"Uh...um...hi. Hello." She said. She couldn't really look the lady in the eye. She seems nice...and she's pretty too.. The thought went through her mind and she flushed again. I hope I'm not bothering her...
"Um...am I...no...no, I...uh..." Lori stammered, getting nervous like she usually does. Soot meowed and looked up at her, probably concerned.
"Well you see...I...I'm looking for a place to stay and C.C. told me to check here and I also heard that you rented a place and were maybe looking for a roommate so I thought I'd introduce myself." Lori said in a rush, sounding breathy afterwards. Her eyes got a little watery as she started feeling way too nervous.
She probably thinks I'm some sort of silly kid too young to be out on my own...or she will think that now... Lori bit her lip and waited for an answer.

Julianna Marie Sanders Julianna smiled a bit seeing the girl act a little unorthodox while asking about a place to stay. The rent certainly was better to have two people pay to live there and she was going to ask her anyway, so really the girl had done her a favor by coming there. "Come on in. Have a look around. I was going to go to the cafe today to start work, but you saved me the trouble of looking for a roommate. If you like it here, you may sign the lease in the tenant's place and start moving in as soon as you like. I have about 15 minutes before I have to be in work anyway, so let me give you a tour." After giving her a tour, she stopped in the bedroom and asked the girl what she had thought. "Well, what do you think and do you want to walk to the cafe with me?" She smiled politely and offered the girl her spare key.

"Oh!" Lori looked up and blushed as Julianna held the key out to her. "I...I like it very much...and I can pay the rent no problem! Just...I have a question...Soot's okay to stay here right?"
Lori felt relieved that Julianna seemed so nice. Soot was nervous for some reason, and he followed her closely as she went to look over the lease. um...does it mention anything about pets in here?
When the lady invited Lori to walk over to the cafe with her, Lori bit her lip and thought it over for a moment. I still haven't seen a lot of the city...but...maybe...I could stop over for breakfast. She nodded at Julianna.
"I don't mind walking with you...if you don't mind." Lori said cutely, bowing her head a little.

Julianna Marie Sanders Julianna shook her head. "Nothing i read says we can't have small animals. Just make sure Soot doesn't get over 12 pounds. They do have a weight limit." She walked over and continued brushing her hair. "You can throw your stuff in the other bedroom. I don't mind if you have friends over, but let me know about an hour in advance. My cell number is on the lease when you sign it. Mind taking care of them while I continue getting ready?"

cori-UK Lori curtsied and finished looking over the paperwork before affixing her signature onto it. She may look young, but she knew how to handle things like that for some reason. She petted Soot as he hopped up on the countertop.
"Here that Soot? You can't keep eating like you'll do, or you'll get too fat!" Lori giggled. Finishing her task, she looked over at Julianna and admired her hair. There wasn't much else to do, since she'd have to drop by her safety deposit box later for whatever stuff she owned. She didn't own much because she traveled, but she couldn't lug it around everywhere.

Julianna Marie Sanders Julianna finished getting ready and decided to start asking her roommate some things about her. "So what kind of people do you think you might invite over? I may have both genders over and I'll be sure to keep things in my room under control. It will be both men and women in there probably. I hope that's fine with you. I swing both ways. You?" She grabbed her shoes and began strapping the heels ot her feet while leaning against the couch in the livingroom.

"Oh..." Lori looked off to the side a little. "I don't think I'll be having anybody over anytime soon...I just got to the city, so I don't have a lot of friends. Yet."
Lori blushed as she wondered how she might make friends being as shy as she was.
"Oh! But...I think you met Cecilia? I...I think we're friends, so maybe she can come over sometimes?" She asked. Lori watched Julianna strap on the heels with interest; she had yet to wear heels herself. She was sure she would trip and make a fool of herself if she tried.

Julianna Marie Sanders Julianna nodded her head and finished getting on her shoes. "I see no problem with that. She is a cute girl and I wouldn't mind seeing her. Just be sure that my room is undisturbed when it is shut. I don't want to have to resort to locks inside the apartment." She grabbed her handbag and stood up next to Lorelei. "You'll meet more friends, I am sure of it." She smiled and patted the girl on the head, happy she was a full three inches taller than her.

Lori nodded and closed her eyes for a minute to remember everything that Julianna was telling her. She had no intention of disturbing her roommate's privacy and other requests, so she wanted to make sure she remembered it all. After all, that was lucky that she took me as a roommate...
She smiled shyly and childishly as Julianna patted her head.
"I hope so...I mean...I'm going to try! I think I like it here in this city...even if it's so huge..." Lori said with regards to the concept of making friends. She didn't bother adding that it was hard because she found talking hard.

Julianna Marie Sanders Julianna walked in after a long day and sat her small backpack on the vacant couch. Lorelei would be due back after a while since she had waited around for Makoto today. It was nearly sunset and her nerves were really getting tense. Her secret was best kept hidden and to avoid having her new roommate know about what was going on. She rushed herself into the bathroom and changed out of her uniform and into a pair of sweatpants and a hoodie to hide her face. She then took a seat on the couch in the open livingroom with the outside door only a few feet from her. When the moon would rise, she would be sure to either hide in her room or wander the town all night. Hopefully no one would see her like this tonight. One hour before the moon would rise and already she was beginning to worry. Soon her tail, ears, claws, and fangs would reveal themselves and she might as well be labeled a freak.

Lori picked up Soot and then, realizing that she couldn't get the key out of her pocket while holding her cat, she set Soot down again so she could unlock the door.
She inserted the key gently and only needed to wiggle it a little so that all the pins were pushed by the key's outline. Turning it once, Lori smiled just a bit as she heard the lock click open softly.
"Okay, Soot. We're home - been a loooong day, hasn't it?" She said, nudging the door open slightly with one hand while she put the key back in her pocket. Before going in completely, Lori plucked up Soot off the ground again and kissed him lightly on the head. She opened the door with her foot and peeked inside.
