What in the name of The Tallests made them want to put Invader Zim on Nick Jr in the first place? It's sad Invader Zim had to be replaced with reality. crying

It really isn't a kids' show anyway. They got rid of Invader Zim because it was too unique for TV. And because they couldn't figure out what genre it was.

I've heard many different rumors of why they got rid of Invader Zim.
One was it wasn't being watched by the the targeted age group. I don't think that was a very good reason to cancel a show though neutral
Invader Zim was to violent for the children. I guess I could understand that reason :
It wasn't getting high enough ratings <---- LIESS!!
Jhonen Vasquez was getting sick of all the changes Nick was making to the episodes. This is probably the most believable XD
The Bloody Gir rumor is fake, Nick discovered Bloody Gir after the shows cancelation.

yeah they did..they brought it baq.. but its only on nicktoons an it mostly comes on at nite...soo if u have regular cable i feel bad for you bcaz regular cable doesnt hav nicktoons.

But Nick didn't want to get rid of it entirely. Like Jhonen wanted to make ZIM die in the last episode to end the series but Nick didn't let in case they brought it back. Which they didn't, so now they have a semi-ending episode. >w<

My friend told me its cause a parent thought it was bad cause of another show the creater made.I thougt that was stupid.

The creator didn't like the show, he hated making it a kids show...should've put it on adultswim.
