Belated, but never forgotten-- I present to you the FEF Winter Fanfiction contest!
DIRECTIONS: I am going to give you a prompt. What you write has to be related to this prompt, but in any way you like-- it doesn't have to be a direct or literal relation, but should in some way involve the prompt and its themes-- and in any way relating to the source material, not just the real world definition.
THE PROMPT: What does it mean to be festive?
RULES: There are none. However, there are several things I will NOT accept in or as a valid entry:
* Script format
* Drabbles (Meaning, 100 words or less.)
* Explicit Content. (Romance content and violence are fine, as long as it is about PG-13 Rating)
* Songfic
* Plagiarism
* Frowny Faces.
JUDGING: Variable depending on entries. If there are a substantial amount of entries in both the 'FEF-related' (That is, FEF OCs, or Learanian events) and the 'Canon-FE' (The actual Fire Emblem games) categories, I will judge them seperately and pick winners from each. If there are not enough entries to do that, or they are not split in such a way, there will be a single judging category and the winner will be picked on that. All genres are accepted, and will be judged on:
*Creativity
*Workmanship
*Characters
*Mechanic (Really bad grammar or spelling errors get immediate marks off)
*Pleasure to read (Please don't make me read a textwall.)
DUE DATE: TBA, but within reason. This contest may have an extension over other contests.

Question:
I make a story with all my own created characters, nobody else's characters but the ones that come out of my mind. Is it still accepted?

Unfortunately, no. I wish I could say yes, but no. This is a FAN fiction contest, not an ORIGINAL fiction contest-- though I think in the future I might do normal fiction contests, too.
The reason behind a fanfiction contest here is that it's a way to participate in the guild community. Everybody has fun writing about what this guild's for-- Fire Emblem, and for FEF. You could write your own story, but you could do that some other place than FEF, too.
This contest's a contest you can only fine right here, right at FEF! biggrin
