Another day, another near death experience, another life saved by a weapon I truly hate. My name is Edwind Ravenlock, a monster hunter and mercenary by trade. The weapon that I mentioned, the one I truly hate is an old style sawed-off shotgun with only one barrell. That means it can only hold one shell. Piss me off. I got up early this morning. Rubbed my right eye. The left eye was toast. Clawed out by a giant lizardlike creature. I was in my cabin in the woods. A nice oak cabin with a fireplace. None of the modern ammenities. Wood stove, Fireplace, and battery powerd lights. At least there's a lake a few miles north.
I got up, got dressed, and went to the living room.
