Ronin had known about the arrival before the large van pulled up before the knocks began. Loud and heavy. How irritating. In the blink of an eye, Ronin appeared in front of the door. His freezing hand rested on the cold metal knob before opening it. He stared at the guards before him, his face calm and fairly emotionless. "I'm not deaf, a knock would have been fine. It wasn't like there was an emergency." his voice was just as emotionless. Then his dark eyes shifted to the girl standing beside them. "And you're waiting for what? Unchain her." he ordered one of the guards. His voice had taken on a bit of annoyance. Guards irritated him to no end, mostly because of how they treated people. Abusing and treating 'slaves' like they were more beast like then people. It wasn't how he thought it should be. And Ronin knew how they were treated, he had lived through it for a few years.

So close, Ronin was so close to losing his temper with these guards. But the sound of his sister's voice echoed through his head. It was almost like she was there, and for a moment, he wished that she was. Keep your cool. Losing your temper won't help anyone. He didn't move as Yumi bumped into him before packing up and bowing before him. "It wasn't your fault, and the master bit can be dropped." The shakiness of her voice didn't go unnoticed. Signing the papers, he handed them back to the guards before shooing them off. Before he really did teach them a good lesson for being so annoying and disrespectful. "Come in," Ronin said, moving from the door way. As she entered, he closed the door behind them. Ignoring the guards, knowing that they would be leaving to return back to the shop. "My name is Ronin, Ronin Cross. I would rather just being called Ronin." The whole master title made him feel as though he actually owned her. She was basically just here for company.

Taking the moment to give a quick look over the girl, she seemed healthy enough. A little scared maybe but alright otherwise. Yumi may have had it a little easier then the other slaves. "What is your name?" he asked calmly.

As the guards scoffed, Ronin muttered something that sounded a little like, 'Worthless.' Then, disappearing behind the front door with Yumi, he heard her repeat his name. Her voice sounding more like velvet then anything else. Catching the smile that appeared, he knew that she most likely wasn't the type who enjoyed using formalities. He felt them unnecessary. She was her own person, so she could call him what everyone else did. Watching as Yumi's eyes observed the area, he leaned his back against the door, folding his arms over his chest, he just watched her. His gaze blank and seeing everything but giving off nothing like usual. "Yumi Akiko. . . pleasure to meet you." At least she was smiling now. A few minutes ago, with those guards around, she seemed a little nervous and shaken up. It took a moment, but the familiar scent of a vampire caught his attention. His dark brown eyes seemed to brighten slightly. Yumi was a vampire. That made everything so much more easier. But then again, a little more difficult.

Now he had to worry about keeping her fed with blood when his servants were usually the ones who found blood or donated. Hmmm, yes, he would have to think this out a little later. Right now, he had a few things that he had to do. "Come, I'll give you a tour of the building."

Going from room to room. One floor to the next, he eventually had shown her every room in the mansion other then her own. Walking back to the second floor, he opened a large dark wood door and moved out of the way so she could peer inside. "I hope it's to your liking." he commented. It was large, like all the other rooms in the house. He could get a maid to take Yumi's measurements and then go clothes shopping for her, unless Yumi wanted to go too.

Ronin moved slow enough, allowing Yumi to take everything in. The mansion was large enough, anyone could probably get lost if they didn't know the way. Maybe he should have listened to his sister and put maps up. . . Yumi seemed to like her room, the smile on her lips told him that. "You really don't have to bow, Yumi." he replied. Ronin leaned in the door way, watching Yumi roam around the room before sitting on the bed, letting herself bounce slightly. "I'm glad you like it, Yumi. What would you like to do about clothes shopping?" He soon found the girl back at his side, appearing happier then she had been moments ago when the guards were around.
