Madam Malkin's Robes for All Occasions
Madam Malkin's is a clothing shop next to Flourish & Blotts. It sells robes and other clothing, including the standard Hogwarts-required plain black work robes, and dress robes. Madam Malkin, a squat witch who wears mauve robes, and her assistants will tailor the robes to fit right in her shop. Malkin is an archaic term for a crotchety old woman.

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx  J E S S I C A M A R I E H O W A R DJess walked up Diagon, and opened the door to Madam Malkin's Robes for All Occasions. The little bell above the door rang as she opened the door, and held it for Vera and her god-child in the stroller. She took a seat in one of th chairs just inside the doors, seeing as how she didn't need any robes, she didn't need to stand. She was just here to offer advice, among other things. She flipped her head so the her bangs moved out of her eyes, and sipped some more of her Butterbeer."So, what robes do you need anyways? Sophie Luna Rose Moon  Hufflepuff Beater Half-Blood Sophie opened the door and walked into Madam Malkin's Robes for All Occasions and smiled as the bell rang as she entered, she walked up to the counter "I just need some new Hufflepuff Robes and quidditch oultfit" Sophie said. She was taken to the dressing rooms and tried on robes and Quidditch uniforms and finally found the perfect size 14, she thanked them and baught them and walked out of the door looking at her list of equiptment. She walked out and waved good bye with the bags in hand.
