Hogsmeade Station is the closest train stop to Hogwarts; the Hogwarts Express stops here after travelling from King's Cross. Scenes involving Hogsmeade Station in the Harry Potter films were shot at Goathland railway station on the North Yorkshire Moors Railway, built in 1865 and virtually unchanged, that serves the village of Goathland in the North York Moors. According to Rowling's illustrations, Hogsmeade station is not in Hogsmeade, but on the opposite side of the lake
The Hogwarts Express will leave Kings Cross on January 9th 2011!

The day was getting darker, they were getting closer to the Castle and Roxie knew it. She hadn't seen Teddy yet, and she was begging to worry. This was odd though, he probably just with a bunch of his Hufflepuff friends. Roxanne sighed, as the train slowed. Picking up her bag and her cat from the seat across from her, she applied a little chapstick to her lips.
Roxanne felt the train come to a sudden jolt, standing up slowly, she brushed her fingers through her hair, and began to fix her robes, adjusting the Gryffindor badge on her chest, and straighting the sides. With a smile at reflection in the window, she saw the castle, and headed off to the carriages.

He had said something about not saying anything to particularly mean, and she honestly was going to try. Then his little girlfriend had to add it about the 'M word" She smirked, tapping her chin. "Why wouldn't I be allowed to say 'Muggle' Kailyn?" she said, a confused look on her face, knowing perfectly well that the girl was referring to Mudblood, not Muggle. Oh well, she inwardly shrugged. Couldn't be undone now. She was only joking anyways, it wasn't meant to be mean at all, although, now she realized that it could be interpreted that way.
Jess sighed, it wasn't like she was mean on purpose. Originally, she was a nice girl. Her first year at Hogwarts, she was the outcast of the Slytherin crew. She had refused to diss anyone, and had been pretty much shunned for it. The Slytherins eventually grew on her, and somewhere between then and now, she became, well, mean. Sob story, who cares. They chatted, and Colin responded as nessecary, although his mind was elsewhere. Honestly? It was on a girl. One in particular, but I'm not aloud to tell you that information. When the train rattled, he realized something, that they were almost at Hogwarts. He stood, "'Cuse me, Gotta go change into the robes. We're lmost there, you know." he said to his friends, leaving the compartment for the hanging rooms. He emerged wearing his house robes, Hufflepuff that is. Colin was making his way back to the compartment when he spotted the trolley. "One candy wand please." he said, paying the elderly woman who was pushing the cart. He opened the package to reveal the wand, which was much like a muggle lollipop. Making his way back to the compartment, Colin sucked on his wand, making sure that no Slytherin was there to tease him.[ OutOfCows- [: Posted! chatchatchatchatchatchatchat ]

  She smiled with fake sweet at Jess,"Since there has been a term for one whom both parents were muggles"She resisted calling her stupid at the end.Kaylin turned to James."This year better be better than the last."She said to James.Then she noticed it's the third year we're dating.She smiled.Kaylin rested her head on James's shoulder again.See how those Slytherins act as if I were those stereo -type blondes?They're stupid for thinking so.Kaylin proudly put three fingers up.James would know what she ment.She sat up straight and grinned at him.Putting her fingers down she smiled and waited to get to Hogwarts.Her eyes drifted to Annabelle.She wasn't so pretty.To Kaylin anyways.Wait why was she thinking anyways.Kaylin shook her head and saw the things pulling the horses.She saw them because she saw her parents die."Boo?Do you see them?"She asked referring to James.As them she meant the things carrying them.More likely she should've asked the question have you seen death of a person.Kaylin brushed it's mane and smiled.

She could read the face of the girl opposite her, Kailyn, and it was so obviously saying "I'm not as stupid as you'd like to think." Jess laughed inwardly, Kaylin, you may not think you're stupid, but you sure act like you are. She watched as the girl put up three fingers, which meant absolutely nothing to her, but obviously meant something to James, the one she was gesturing to. When the train paused, then came to a stop, Jess rose, smiling at the group. "Love to stay and chat, but I've got to grab my things. You'd better do the same, don't want to be late!" she said, walking back to the still empty compartment where she had left her things. She grabbed them, hauling her carry-ons off the train. Her much heavier trunk would be transported to her dorm later, and would be there by the time she arrived. Good thing too, because she did not want to carry it, at the moment.
Exiting the train, Jess walked over to the place where the threstrals were waiting to carry them off to school. Yes, she could see them. She had watched her great grandmother die in a muggle hospital bed because she refused to be treated by wizard doctors. Insolent and ignorant, the woman was. She had passed about a year ago, and yes, Jess had felt sad, but she couldn't believe that the woman knew that the wizard doctors could heal her, but she refused to let them. She was dragged out of her thoughts when she heard Kailyn, annoying girl really, asking James a question she was quite interested to hear the answer to. Had James seen anyone die? Kailyn tuned in her listening ears, but she certainly didn't act as if she were eavesdropping. She pulled her bag into the seat next to her inside the buggy, waiting for James to answer. Jess pushed her bangs away from her eyes, annoyed with them. Once the school term officially started, she would have to use magic to enchant scissors to give her a new look or something, because this was almost unbearable. Plus, she'd like some shorter hair, it'd be nice for a change. [ OutOfCows- [: Good music in third Icon

⚡James narrowed his eyes at Jessica, trying not to say something offensive. Slytherins - them and him never worked out well. Even since First Year. Maybe it was his name or maybe it was because of his personality, but they never worked out well. Not that he really cared for them to be friends. No, he could be content being their enemy forever if it had to be. Deciding to ignore the snide remark, he looked back at Kailyn and sighed softly, nodding.
⚡"It will be," he muttered softly to her. Smiling, he noticed her signal to him with her fingers. One, two, three... Yeah. It had been three years. And those years seemed so short. But he was glad that Kaylin was there. He'd changed after beginning to date her. Not much, but enough for people to notice.
⚡After pulling on his robes to at least make it look like he had changed, he followed Kaylin out. There, he saw the carriages but not the thestrals. He couldn't see them, as he had never witnessed death personally, but he had been told of them. He was told to accept them for they weren't really all that bad of creatures. And for those who could see them... Well, he never regarded them as insane because he understood. Like Kaylin.
⚡Shaking his head, he softly said, "No, I don't. But I know they're there.""It will be," As he spoke, he gently squeezed her hand to reassure her. Tell her than he knew she wasn't crazy.

She looked at Jess.She turned her attention back at James.Those three years had been short to both of them.It's not that Kaylin didn't want to talk.More like she didn't wand that Slytherin to know.She took her wand and put her stuff along with James's at the seat next to his."Since I won that little race of ours Boo you still have to carry my stuff"She teased.After that she laughed and took her wand out.It seemed as if it was sparkling.She gigled.And shoved it into her pocket.Her pocket was in her skirt and her skirt was under her robes.The uniform was kinda changed.The skirts have been shorter.Due to some incident of 'slippings' last year.Kaylin smiled at James then noticed not as much of noise came,"Where's your family?The Weasleys and Teddy...."She asked.Not that she was worried.More like what would happen for being late.She saw Roxanne and shrugged.After saying he didn't see them she said,"Well okay then if you want I can always kill Malfoy in front of you."She muttered so only he could hear it.

(ooc: Sorry, im on my ipad, don't feel like going through the hassle of a layout. this is a pain in the butt as it is, but i haven't posted in forever.) Lily flung her red hair over her shoulder. She hadn't seen any of her friends, and her family was nowhere to be in sight. She sighed silently, and picked up her trunk and her cat. Stepping off the train, she walked over and accompanied her cousin, Roxanne in the carriage.
The carriages where made of some thick black material and they were pulled by a mysterious creature called a Thestreal. They are invisible, at least to her, she had never seen death. Her mum and dad had, as well as her aunts and uncles. You see, Lily's uncle, Fred, was killed in the Second Wizard War, and she never jnew him, but her whole family for the most part did. From what she could tell, he was very funny and kind. An excellent Quidditch player, too. Lily imagined he was much like herself.
Lily looked up at Roxie. "Hi, Rox." she said silently, placing her hand on her lap, twirling her thumbs. Her black robe was slightly wrinkly and smelled like lilacs from the laundry. Lily suspected that her brothers and father weren't fond of the smell, but she used it to wash her clothes nonetheless.

 Teddy ran up and joined Roxxie on her carrige. "Sorry I'm late! Quiddich captain caught me.." he chuckled lightly. "Did I miss anything important?" he asked, not expecting anything. ((whoa its dead in here...))

Teddy joined Roxxie on carriage, and she understood why he was late, he was with the Quidditch captain. She nooded in understandment. and when he asked if he had missed anything, she knew he hadn't. "Oh, just the same old boring train ride." she replied with a shrug.
