Fears: Inability to Protect Seireitei:Matamune's deep seated fear would be, if he ever failed to protect the Seireitei. He constantly trains his body and mind so that he becomes stronger, unyielding to the forces that might overtake Seireitei. He has no purpose if Seireitei is destroyed. And he fears that if he was weaker, he couldn't do anything about it. He constantly tries to forge himself a path that will allow him to keep a vigilant watch over Seireitei.
Flaws: Holding Back, Matamune is well-known for keeping himself in check. At the same time, this creates a flaw that might be exploited by some, since he usually doesn't go all out until he really wants to kill his opponent, or if he deems his opponent strong enough that he'll go all out immediately.
Appearance: Matamune has very pale skin with and purple eyes he also wears a purple robe top with black pants he has purple hair which is about to the bottom of his shoulders but is pinned up. he is somewhat tall, and his face almost always has a faint smile. his spirit energy when seen is a dark purple
Special Items:black glove on his left hand tare into the fabric of space and allows him to teleport about 700 yards at a time can be used 4 times a day he also has flash bombs he always carries some with him

Spirit Description:Matamunes Zanpaku-to sword has a female spirit she has short light brown hair and wears a red shirt with red sweat pants she also has small black demon wings. she has dark coal colored eyes and when her and Matamune talk she is always happy to see him and tells him to be more careful she is very playful as well her personality doesn't really match her name well, nor does her gender when Matamune learned her name he was super surprised that a pretty girl like her had such a name
Shikai Description: Matamune shikai is not much different then his normal sword its size and shape stays the same and the color is no different but it loses its handgard and becomes somewhat lighter then it was before allowing Matamunes speed to increase slightly

Shikai Abilities:
1. manipulate shadows: this is done to the point where Matamune can hide in the shadows and remain unseen by anyone and attack enemies with the shadows(none of the shadow manipulations works if there is no moon or light to cast any form of shadow)
2. Blades of energy: slashes out blade like beams of Matamunes spirit energy from his sword the more concentrated spiritual energy he puts into his blade the sharper and more destructive the blade like beam becomes
Bankai Description:The guard of the sword comes back and this time the swords shape has changed a lot and it is now black(the steel of the blade stays the same)there is now a diamond shaped ruby inside the sword right above the hilt the sword is also a bit thicker than it was before and is a little misshapen at the bottom where the blade meets the guard and hilt

Bankai Abilities:
1. keeps all the same Abilities as in shikai form just amplified to a much greater and more destructive intensity
2. makes childrens games real Matamunes ZanpakutÅ makes the rules and anyone who steps within the boundaries of his spiritual pressure is forced to play by those rules Matamune is no exception if you lose one of the games your spiritual power is drained and you most likely pass out

History: Matamune begins his story as a short, unassuming and lonely young boy, but grows up into a tall, commanding samurai and well-loved man. To many more, he was a legendary hero who overcame impossible odds and great personal adversity for the good of his family and comrades of war for whom he died so valiantly to save. His time in the soul society has been interesting he has made some friends and trains long hours perfecting and honing his skills for the hopes of becoming Captain of Division 2
