I walked into the room Geo had told me, numbly, to see my parents. Sure enough they were there, worried. They embraced me as soon as they saw me, but i barely hear a word they had said. All i could think of was My liberators, their guns and the blood. The lives lost today, some of which, i helped kill, even though i really SUCK at using guns. "Survive" was what he said. I'll do it, so long as my parents do too. I gave my parents a big hug and refused to let them go. Tears ran from my eyes.
I''ll be strong, eventually, I'll be strong...

  The airship was now in Jechi view. She walk up to it seeing a waving Jake. She gave a little wave back at him. When she was close enoght to talk she ask Jak if there were any tracking devices. "There were none in the ship. How did you made it back?" He ask as they walk into the ship ready to take off once the were savely inside. "They let me go. Were are Geo and the girl?" "Geo in the control room and the girl is with her parents at the moment in the spare room." Jak inform her. "They let you go?" "We'll talk more about the topic at the base." She said cutting him off and sat down to put her breathing to normal.

 I decided i didn't want to stay huddled together with my parents in a semi dark room, the ENTIRE trip to our rescuers home (soon to be our new home). So i stood up, pulling my parent up with me, not wanting to leave their side. I walked out holding my parents by their waist, holding on like a little girl, and pulled them along the hall. Eventually we ran into somebody. It was the girl and those two boys that busted us out. I let go of my parents and jogged up to them. "Um, excuse me." I said nervously "I um...Thanks. You know for everything." I don't really know how someone is suppose to thank someone else for saving their life.

Jechi saw the moment the girl came out of the room looking even younger than she was holding her parents by the waist, wishing she could do that. The girl approached to thank them and Jechi simply turn her head. "It was nothing." Jake said to the girl with a big smile on his face and rubbing his head. "It always a pleasure to rescue a beautiful girl like you." Jak said with a kiss to her hand. He was kinda romantic, too much sometimes that it gets him into trouble.

I glanced back at my parents, hoping they didn't think much of the boy kissing my hand, and also to hide my blush. "I- I'm Emilia." i stuttered stupidly "You guys are?" i looked to the other two.

"Jake." He said with a friendly smile stretching his hand to her. "And I'm Jak. I'm the oldest of the two." He said with another kiss but to her cheek. "And this little miss here is Jechi." They both said at the same time. She just glare at them. "Nice to meet you." Both of them finish.

 "Members on board and new members we are almost to the district, so please make the inside as clean as you can. I'm the one stuck with the cleaning and maintaining of this machine. That is all." Ros said through the speakers inside the ship. He was a great pilot and mechanic but hated clean up after others.

 As the ship flew in the sky I peered out to see the view. Slowly the base came into the view, "Home sweet home..." I said. The base got bigger the closer we got to it with my anxiety growing bigger at the thought of coming back to see him again. "Hope he has any good stories to tell!"

I jumped from my seat surprised and turned around gasping for air. "God...Don't do that!" I said pointing my finger. Regaining my posture and relaxed from the shock I told her. "My dad! Well adoptive dad... He was the guy who rescued me 4 years ago and brought me to District 0. He the sole whole reason in me being here and someday I will live up to him and my deceased family. I guess the reason why protected Emilia is because I didnt want the same thing happen to her in losing her parents and or losing a child. What I did back there...Was it the right thing?"

"You let your guard down." She commented on his reaction. "Considering that her parents aren't no longer in danger, yes." Jechi said sitting down next to him. "But sadly both our choices put in danger her live." She said with a thoughtful look. She turn to him "We have to make sure nothing happens to her in the games." She saw from the corner of her eyes how the twins got along with Emilia.

"Yeah...the games." Those words that bounced in my head over and over telling me of the possible torture that could be found in there. "I will put my life on the line if I have to." It's the only word I came to me and best choice because simply protecting her won't be enough. When I look back at the twins getting along with Emilia I let alout a small laugh. "Looks like there getting along fine." My urges to cause mischeif started to rise and with pure instinct I grabbed a small bag of pretzels and threw it at Jak's head. "Lay off I saw her first!" I said gleefully.

Jechi nodded at his words and headed for the control room. Jak felt something hit the back of his head and turn around and saw Geo looking at them. "Lay off I saw her first!" Geo said. Jak raise an eyebrow at him and smile at him. "Yeah. So?" He ask. Jake grab the bag of pretzels from the floor and open it. "This is interesting." He said to Emilia with his mouth full.

"Yeah so?" said Jak smiling. I couldnt help but do the same and add something else. "Keep that up and there will be some cheese coming your away." I said with a piece of limburger in my hand. "And its this kind!" I sat backdown when the captain said. "Everybody take your seats and prepare for landing." Anxiously I took another bag of pretzels and munched on them. "Home at last!"

Boys will be boys. Throwing food around, I giggle at their words feeling sort of embarrassed.
"Everybody take your seats and prepare for landing." The captain said over the intercom.
I sat down, the twins sitting at either sides of me, awaiting the arrival at district 0
