So, I had no idea where to post this aside from in here, but that doesn't really bother me too much. Anyway, I really only have one small thing to say. And BEFORE anyone tries to respond with telling me things like "Oh, why are you saying that, you must like it" or calling me a fan, because I am not, but I don't think that you can call me an "anti" anymore, because at this point the only people who feel so strongly over it are in middle school. I am not saying that all middle-schoolers are like that, but that is normally the people who freak over it. I have been part of this guild for about a year now, and let me tell you that the arguments have really dumbed down over this past year.
When I first joined, there were actually quite a few good reasons not to like it, and now all there is, is "oh, its lousy writing" or "it's really lame" and the usual things that people have been saying since the damn thing started to get popular.
At this point, I really don't have anything against it, and I can actually tell you very good reasons why the actions portrayed in the book and what people do because of it in real life should not be condoned.
But, in all honesty, don't you believe that you could probably come up with better reasons to dislike something? Just because something is popular does not need to be hated because you want to seem cool for disliking it, because its not a good reason to hate something, just like its also not a good reason to like something.
I understand that the few of us that have been part of this can actually say something about it, because it was a part of our generation and came out during some of the most influential years of our lives, like middle school or high school when they first came out.
Yes, I'm sure its fun to joke about stuff, but if you really dislike something, please find a better reason to.
Saying the same things over and over to try and show your dislike or something and not giving the best reasons that you can, then you are no better than the people who don't give good reasons for liking something either.
I'm not trying to be mean or anything, I'm just saying. If you are offended by me saying any of this, please don't be shy and speak up, because yes, even if you don't like someones opinion, it still matters and should be respected as someones personal viewpoint.

I do agree with you. A lot of posts here are based solely on opinion and insults that aren't grounded in any way whatsoever. However, there are also threads with very good support, concrete facts, sources, examples, and the like (please see "Asuna6573"). I hope members start/continue to keep the writing mature and post only if they have an interesting point to discuss.
I have been visiting the guild less frequently because I too have noticed that and I was getting tired of the whole thing. It's only when I stumble across something I think worthwhile that I share it with the guild.
All in all, I think you are right and I am not offended at all. In fact, I think it's about time someone said this.
