If you were pregnant, would you get an abortion?

People now-a-days gat an abortion because they were too young or they just don't want to have the baby, and its sad.

You see, a Lady at my school who helps provide for the FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes) told me a story-
Her father raped her mother.
They were not married, didn't know each other.
Her mother had thoughts of abortion because she knew she couldn't handle the reminder of what happened through this child.
But her boyfriend told her to have the child, he would raise it as if it was his- and thats what happened.

Now, her mother never told her this- in fact, both her parents carried this to the grave. This lady looked up, with the help of a lawyer, and found this out.- And she is greatful to be alive.

Abortion

MONTH ONE
Mommy, I am only 4 inches long, but I have all my organs. I love the sound of your voice. The sound of your heart beat is my favorite lullaby.

MONTH TWO
Mommy, Today I learned how to suck my thumb. If you could see me, you could definitely tell that I am a baby. I'm not big enough to survive outside my home, though. It is so nice and warm in here.

MONTH THREE
You know what, Mommy? I'm a boy!! I hope that makes you happy. I always want you to be happy. I don't like it when you cry. You sound so sad. It makes me sad, too, and I cry with you even though you can't hear me.

MONTH FOUR
Mommy, my hair is starting to grow. It is very short and fine, but I will have a lot of it. I spend a lot of my time exercising. I can turn my head and curl my fingers and toes and stretch my arms and legs. I am becoming quite good at it, too.

MONTH FIVE
You went to the doctor today. Mommy, he lied to you. He said that I'm not a baby. I am a baby, Mommy... your baby. I think and feel. Mommy, what's abortion?

MONTH SIX
I can hear that doctor again. I don't like him. He seems cold and heartless. Something is intruding my home. The doctor called it a needle. Mommy what is it? It burns! Please make him stop! I can't get away from it! Mommy! HELP me!

MONTH SEVEN
Mommy, I am okay. I am in God's arms. He is holding me. He told me about abortion. Why didn't you want me, Mommy? EVERY ABORTION IS JUST... One more heart that was stopped. Two more eyes that will never see. Two more hands that will never touch. Two more legs that will never run. One more mouth that will never speak. One more person who can never change the world.

I'm not trying to start an argument here, but that cute little thing you've posted is propaganda and lies.

At six months, you are in the late second trimester, about to enter the third trimester.
To have an abortion at this time, either your life must be in danger or the fetus must be already dead and need removal or have an inevitable death in the womb approaching. Otherwise, it is illegal to get an abortion past 12/13 weeks. In fact, if the mother's life was not in danger, they may suggest induced birth, as technology we now have could keep the fetus alive if it was delivered prematurely, and an adoption agency could take the child once it's ready to go home with someone.

And at one month, the embryo is only approximately one-half of an inch in length. While the brain is in development from week one, all the organs are not yet formed enough to be called organs, if I remember correctly. Finally, neither an embryo nor a fetus is capable of thought or emotion, and fetal pain is not possible until around 28 weeks, not 24.

I'm not saying be pro-choice.
I'm saying that perhaps you should break the stereotype and fight with valid, medically and scientifically sound facts that are recognized and accepted by the medical community, instead of lies based off of insufficient research and emotional appeals that would never hold up longer than three seconds in a court of law.
Maybe you could even try reforming your opinions on the issue with those facts. They're quite surprising to someone who has only been exposed to propaganda.

God bless.

listen, what you said may be true, but think about it. You're killing a gift made from God's creation and putting something amazing and wonderful and unique to waste. Treating itlike garbage when, clearly, it isn't. It isnt even given a chance to see this world and make a remote difference. And you say there is no emotion when you're in the womb. According to science, there isn't. But how would that child feel up in Heaven where itis an angel and can actually have emotions and be alive in a way as if it did grow up? Abortion is a cruel thing that should only be used if it threaten's the mother's life. Just as well, getting an abortion because the child is unwanted practically goes against God's words.

The argument isn't necessarily propaganda >.> it is just something that appeals to emotion (which I would rather myself use logical reasoning than emotion) but in the argument itself there shows a slight amount of logic that can be derived, that it is in fact a human baby, key word in that statement is human, it have human dna even if it is not fully developed, and it is a life, for life grows. (Now I also understand that you were not arguing for Pro-Choice, but neither am I saying you are which I find that in my argument it could seem I place you as a pro-choicer. I am merely arguing that it is not propaganda and that it does not make any claims that the baby can rationally think and use words at that age, it goes off as what it might say if it could, and that it can follow in a logical argument if used properly.)
