I'm looking at tablets, but I'm becoming a bit overwhelmed. So far, some of the BAMBOO tablets look nice, but there are so many different ones! I'm looking for something not to expensive, I would say $200 max. Any suggestions?

Hmm,I can't tell you much since I don't know too much about tablets, but i'll give you some advice :3 1.Get one that is affordable, yet comfortable. Test drive your tablet in-store if at all possible. 2.Wacom BAMBOO small is a good choice for people with small working areas. I don't suggest it for the long run though, but it is cheap and reliable. 3.Your best bet would be the Pen and Touch Wacom combo, which goes for around $50? The drawing surface looks large enough, yet, looks portable. 4.I would suggest getting a Wacom Intuos Small. It is small, but larger than the Pen and Touch and the bamboo tablets. It is great for more hardcore computer graphics work. 5.If you got a thick enough wallet, you can go the extra mile and get Intuos Medium. That is the perfect tablet for the long run.
Anyways, just follow number 1,get one that works, and is easy on your wallet. ^o^ If you're serious about doing computer art,it might be a good idea to get a more advanced tablet.

I hope you won't mind me asking but, is the Wacom Intuos Small expensive? I want a tablet that allows me to make large pictures. I honestly have never seen a tablet before (like, held it and really looked at it), but I saw one recently at the Apple Store (but in a box, not one on display) and it was the Bamboo Pen one. It looks small and I wondered. "How do people draw on it?" So I'm concerned that I'll buy a tablet but the drawing space would be too small. How much is the Wacom Intuos Small and Medium?

The Intuos series is the more costly line of tablets. The small intuos runs you about $249 USD,while the Medium is around $400 and the large is $549. I think you should buy the Bamboo Fun tablet, the one with a mouse. It goes for $100,and it has decent drawing space. Large pictures aren't limited to large tablets,it's just that larger tablet drawing areas allow you to edit large images more easily. I make background large pictures with my small bamboo tablet. I'd suggest going for that bamboo pen. It just takes getting used to biggrin

It cost $60-70 (I forget) at the apple store. It's not a touch screen tho. I don't think it has a mouse either. I'm not found of mouses (mice?) anyway. I think I get the idea of tablets now. lol Haha! Thanks. ^^ Now to find a job... * O * ......
