Are there any peoms or songs that are meaningful to you on your path? Post words, lyrics, or links here to share them with the rest of us.

Here's the first verse to Dreams by the band Týr
Link to hear it.

Dreams
I've learned all the lore I've been told all the tails
Ancient legends of war Are the wind in my sails
The deeds of the brave Come alive in the ryhme
And the myth is my ship On the oceans of time

The next is sort of a chant I discovered around the fire in the Society for Creative Anachronism. I think I'll bring this one out for Yule.

Lifeblood
Drink for the wind blows cold
And drink for the wolf runs free
Drink to the ships with the sails like wings
And drink to the storm tossed seas

Drink to the lasting nights
And those who warm our beds
Drink to the mead that warms our hearts
And the cold that clears our heads

Drink to the Allfather's eye
For Odin's sons are we
Drink to the World Tree where he hung
And the Runes of mystery

Drink to the truth of steel
And blood that falls like rain
Drink to Valhalla's golden walls
And to our kinsmen slain

Drink to the glory field
Where a man embraces death
And thank the Gods that we lived at all
With a joyous dying breath

Drink for the wind blows cold
And drink for the wolf runs free
Drink to the ships with the sails like wings
For Odin's sons are we

Yes it's by Wyndreth. She has many wonderful heatheny songs. Song of the Eiherar, The lay of Volund Smith, and many others, all awesome.

So I did sing Lifeblood as a toast at Yule. It was very well received, and I think very appropriate.

So does anyone else have anything to post here? Any favorite path relevant songs? Have you written your own poetry or such that applies?

There is this really lovely Samhain chant/song

AUTUMN CHANT

I will dance
on Samhain's dusky eve.

I will dance
The dance of dying days
and sleeping life.

I will dance
In cold, dead leaves
A bending, whirling human flame.

I will dance
As the Horned God rides
Across the skies.

I will dance
To the music of his hounds
Running, baying in chorus.

I will dance
With the ghosts of those
Gone before.

I will dance
Between the sleep of life
And the dream of death.

I will dance
Oh Samhain's dusky eye,
I will dance.

I don't know what it sounds like but the lyrics are indeed beautiful.

Does anybody associate particular songs or images with their deities? Looking for a little inspiration.

The Conductor by AFI Youtube
A little personal on why the chorus is my relationship between Djehuty and Nebthet.

Idk if it will really mean anything to anyone else but I really like The Tyger by WIlliam Blake.
Tyger Tyger, burning bright,
In the forests of the night;
What immortal hand or eye,
Could frame thy fearful symmetry?

In what distant deeps or skies.
Burnt the fire of thine eyes?
On what wings dare he aspire?
What the hand, dare seize the fire?

And what shoulder, & what art,
Could twist the sinews of thy heart?
And when thy heart began to beat,
What dread hand? & what dread feet?

What the hammer? what the chain,
In what furnace was thy brain?
What the anvil? what dread grasp,
Dare its deadly terrors clasp!

When the stars threw down their spears
And water'd heaven with their tears:
Did he smile his work to see?
Did he who made the Lamb make thee?

Tyger Tyger burning bright,
In the forests of the night:
What immortal hand or eye,
Dare frame thy fearful symmetry?
