Some gimmicks are and have been overused and should not be redone. One of these gimmicks is the MMA gimmick. The only character who has ever been able to do a good MMA gimmick is Joshua Danielson, which happens to be a trainer. You are not Joshua Danielson, so a MMA gimmick is not something you should hit the mainstream guilds with.

Another one of these gimmicks is the high flying crazy gimmick. Now, I know everyone wants to be one of those people who go out and fly about the ring with a bunch of crazy moves, but we all can't be. We have to have some of the grounded, technical wrestlers who rarely if ever, go up top.

One of the last of these is the hardcore/deathmatch gimmick. Now in the smaller guilds, they'd probably accept this, and here, for now, we will, but when you get to the big leagues, they won't. Places like WWE:E and EWA are high profile places where you'd probably get pushed depending on certain factors. One of these factors is a hardcore/deathmatch gimmick. Trust me, this will keep you out of the world championship scene.

Psychopaths, yes, psychopaths. Those crazy, brutal, maniacs that just tear everyone in sight up. NO. These characters are everywhere. In a few guilds, you might see one of the best of these known as Disciple or even Jonathan Riker. Disciple being the Kane or Abyss like and Riker being the little guy freak. There are many kinds of psychopaths, such as Mike Landry's character in WWFG. He raped and murdered someone, that's something Disciple wouldn't do, but Landry cares for some people as Disciple does not. Those are really some of the only credible psychopaths in recent times.

This leads to the darker, Undertaker characters. They are or used to be everywhere all the time. These, no matter who they were, didn't last long. These dark characters have always been labeled as bad no matter what because of the gimmick. That will not change either, so I'd suggest we not use them.
