The first tread focused on why we started in the martial arts … now the question I pose to you is … why do you continue … there are so many paths that are much easier than this … so why do you do it …?
NOTE: Before you answer the poll, please read the description of each category below … but if you want to comment on the subject ... feel free ...

Knowledge Belongs to Us All
You love to teach … you love that spark in students’ eyes … that spark of interest and intrigue … it makes you smile … everyday … though it is hard ...it is always gratifying … as you watch knowledge spread …

Knowledge is Power
You love to learn … you pay attention to everything … the small little details ... from foot placement … to where your hands are … you strive for perfection … and your thirst for knowledge never seems to be quenched …

Strength and Honor
You love to compete … you strive to test your skills against another … and you fight with honor … leaving everything in the arena … bearing your true self to the people watching … a relentless warrior …

Blood for the Blood God You love the sight of blood … you go into battle … uncaring of those you fight (and hurt) … blindly charging into conflict … and you welcome it … you just fight for fightig sakes … and that thirst for blood ... that itch for conflict ... is never really sated …

Show me the Money
You love money … you could care less about anything else … as long as you make the big numbers ... as long as you see that green … you (in your own mind) are fine … after all money does buy happiness (supposedly)…

i went with the spread of our knowledge because without sharing and spreading what we know it will die. martial arts isnt just about self defense or being able to beat someone up its a way of life with philosophy and culture with a long history.

My personal reason for learning the humble arts is to gain a sense of humility and respect. With this poll im between ''Strength and Honour'' and ''Knowledge is Power'' im not a reckless fighter but I live for the battle im naturally comfortable with alot of fighting styles so it helps to pay attention so that I can further increase the proficiency in said style hopefully achieving a near perfect form. (In the end I voted ''Strength and Honour'')

No path of value is an easy path. Therefore in the strictly logical sense, the more difficult the path, the greater the rewards.

Strength and Honor to us all ... I like competing ... my brothers and I always compete in everything ... and I guess that drive transferred to when I started training in MMA ...
