Brief history:
the story of how Ryoko came to be a soul reaper: His past is unknow to himself but he was created as the first shinigami to artificialy obtain the abilties to control Darkness under the direction of the head shinigami of technology and research Iris Minamimoto. She used her own ovum and the black reiatsu dna gathered from parts of the other worlds to create experiement R aka Ryoko Minamimoto. Iris began to run test and trained him and started to fall in love with him as her son. About 500 years after a shinigami civil war began the gotei 13 wanted to use him as a weapon but Iris Minamimoto took Ryoko to a secluded village past the forest of darkness outside of soul society. She left him as a baby to her closest friend but unfortunately soon after the gotei 13 had her arrested and executed immediatly for crimes of treason. His training to be a soul reaper has made him a valuable asset and a dangerous threat to others.His power grew over the centuries making him a powerful shinigami. He was once a general for the god of darkness hakai during the war between gods. His respect to others are questioned for he doesn't take orders from anyone not even other captains. When he was part of the elites he only gives his most respect to Alkaid, Shinta and Cre but has an undieing rivalry against Matsuo because of a history of battles fighting against him. He is also stated by Alkaid as one of his best captains because he barely loses his battles a long time ago...
Shingami apearance: Ryoko may look young but he's actually more than millenium old with no specific time of birth. He wears a white patch on the left side of his eye for reasons of supressing his true spiritual energy level. He also has metal hooks attached to him by his pants with equal lengths. He rarely uses them only if it involves one of his specific attacks.
Shikai
Release Command: Bring forth Darkness and Destruction
Ryoko's zanpakuto blade creates flames of darkness that is able to cut anything in its way. When Ryoko stab his sword into the ground durring shikai it surrounds a large area with black flames causing no escape. Ryoko can also manipulate the black flames to where they go and change the form of the flames to anything he wants.
Attacks and Techniques:
Kuro Tenshou (similar to getsuga tenshou): A thick wave of Dark reiatsu that can be as strong as steel.
Shadow flash: This attack sends a barrage of kuro tenshous at an opponent point blank. It is like dakuro tenshou but it gives the illusion of Ryoko not moving his sword but for the fact that he actually transferred his flash step energy into his sword causing him to move his sword very quickly.
Mugen: When in shikai Ryoko can create a large amount of blades that he can used at his disposal. He can only summon the blades. Ryoko can also carry some of his swords on his metal hooks. He can also use dark transfer to cause the blades to move even without him touching them.
Bankai : Akuma Teisei ( Demon Whisper)
When in bankai Ryoko zanpakuto incresase in lenght that has the same attacks as Ryokos zanpakuto shikai but more devasting, faster and destructive. He is also ten times faster and his apeareance also has changed with longer hair and ripped clothing and his height changes from 5'6 to 5'11. His Reishi and Reiryoku have increased in amount. Some of the shikai attacks are stronger in this form. Ryoko also has full control of dark reiatsu surrounding him turning it to any form of his choosing. His speed and spiritual awarness have increased for the toughest conditions. Ryoko has never revealed his bankai to anyone yet. It's his true form. Dark element based attacks are useless against him. Ryoko's abilities can engulf the entire sky to darken revealing red like eyes watching them from above just for show.
Attacks:
Death Kuro tenshou: Kuro Tensho but more destructive. Instead of regular kuro tenshou which would cut through a target, Death Kuro Tensho will not only just cut a target but also explode on impact. A direct hit from one can cause severe injuries such as 3rd degree burns due to using raw black reiatsu energy and a deep wounds.
Black funeral: This attack Ryoko concentrates 84% of his reiatsu to create a small black coffin that forms around the target. It is near to impossible to destroy because Ryoko using alot of energy for it that can make him pass out afterwards. The only way for someone to really break free from it was to disperse a massive amount of energy aswell making them just as exassted. normal attacks won't work and the coffin is air tight making it only a matter of time till they lose breath and die from suffication. Not even light could destroy it unless the victim were to use near to all of his energy.
Soul Sycranization : Ryoko's zanpakuto fuses with him for a stronger and faster advantage. At this phase he can go at a speed that can cause him to make duplicates of himself. The use of this technique is limited in sunlight but in areas that have little light and more darkness can last for long periods of time.
Hell's opened doors: An ability to recreate claw like hands from the ground to grab any targets or attack them. This ability can be used constantly and will not put a strain on Ryoko just slows his movements down.
shinigami's unique abilities:
Kido : Mastered but barely uses them
Shunpo: Ryoko is one of the fastest shinigamis on the track records and has studied the other forms of hoho aswell as Senka, Utsusemi, Hanki, and Shunko.
Element/technique: Controling darkness called Dark shift
Dark Shift
Ryoko can transfer and control energy made of darkness called dark shift to his body or sword from various areas for an advantage Example creating dark energy blasts and shields. (He can't regenrate or make himself immortal). It also gives him the abillity to heal small cuts or wounds quickly but takes a bit for heavy damages such as stabs or deep cuts and some times second degree burn. But when someone takes his energy the absorber will be consumed and controlled by it destroying them from the inside out.Also Ryoko can transfer it in others body but he needs to make contact in order to do so. Ryoko can also use this transfer his soul to enter in other souls minds.

Necro transfer:
Another technique he uses is Dark Necro transfer a combination of demonic arts and Dark Shift. Its first summons 15 demonic spirits called necro spirits and surronds it's target and absorbs spiritual energy from the target then Ryoko uses dark shift to absorb the spirits to us the absorbed for his advantage. Ryoko uses these spirits as a way to absorb energies that are not darkness based. Ryoko can only summon 15 at a time and no more unless they are all destroyed and then Ryoko can reuse the 15 spirits again. When ryoko uses his shikai his necro spirits get stronger and more difficult to destroy.
Extra items:Usually he wears hooks on extended sashes on his pance. And also wears an eyepatch to lower his spiritual pressure but once taken off his eyes turn red and he can use all of it at full force.

Zanpakuto spirit form
Zanpakuto history: Her creation was by the true disciples from the underworld. But the sword could never be used by anyone but a certain family bloodline. She chose Ryoko Minamimoto as her master for his own strength and being a descendent of that bloodline. She only respect those who treat her with respect but if someone ticks her off she will kill them. She also has special feelings for her master Ryoko but only she knows.
