Do you realize how difficult it is to be an antelope? Well, me neither. You see, when I was born, I was convinced that I was a baby rattlesnake, and no one could convince me otherwise. To this day, I'm still not convinced that my tail doesn't rattle when I run. "You cannot her a rattle!" Say the other antelopes. Perhaps the wind hides it, no? Or perhaps they just do not listen well at all...
Anyways, it was a particularly sunny day when my story starts; no, not the day of my birth, but the day when I finally accepted my place among the antelope.
I was slithering around near the gathering pot where all the antelope gather for brunch, when a terrible screech filled my ears.
"Oh no!" cried the antelope. "It is a ________"
