2010 brought us a SPECTACULAR assortment of games for people of ALL ages! Lets Take a look at some of my Personal Favorites!
Blazblue Continuum shift- Ah the sequel to one of the fastest growing fighting games of the decade, Blazblue didn't disappoint one bit! Amazing storyline, some smooth graphics, and stellar Gameplay give this game a 10/10 from me! The issue? Once you Actually Notice a "bad" matchup, you'll be sure to pull your hair out just once! (taokaka vs unlimited hazama)
It's a great buy for the Xbox 360 and PS3, but the controller of the PS3 is just MEANT for fighting games! Try this if you havent already!
Sonic Colors--High speed, powerups, chaos emeralds, and a 2 player mode?! Sega has finally broken the dreaded "Sonic cycle" and given us a game worthy of the blue blur's coolness! The game starts off easy and gets increasingly challenging, and the best part??? It's 2D-3D. Children and adults alike find themselves shouting powerup names, and if you havent played this in fear of another "Sonic 06", fear not! It's possibly the best sonic game since Sonic adventure 2! On the wii, its SA2, and for DS, its faster than both sonic rush games!
Donkey Kong Returns- Well It's about damn Time! Donkey kong is back a with his nephew diddy in a WILD platforming game that is sure to capture your heart! Gorgeous graphics, simple gameplay, and that difficulty we saw back in DKC2, nintendo has really been working to please all the good children this year! Great as single, or co-op play! Try it at least!
Kirby's epic Yarn-That cute puffball is back, and his new game is seamless! Get it? uh...ahem....
Kirby's epic yarn has gorgeous graphics despite the fact it is entirely constructed of yarn. a co-op play mode has been added, and oh boy, the voices get annoying at times, but this game is still a tremendous collection to your wii gaming center! And as far as difficulty goes...well, you'll never get bored!
Fallout:New Vegas--Oh god Yes! This is the godfather of the fallout series! Seriously folks, you will be playing this game till your fingers bleed! It looks amazing and controls are simple in reality.
Call of duty: Black Ops--Ugh...I may cry because this game is so addicting! Beautiful graphics, intense multiplayer, DEATHMATCHES....Oh this is a MUST have for any shooter fan! This Game will blow you away and then revive you because it is so godly! Chuck norris plays it, so why shouldnt you?! its pricey, but DAMN is it worth it!
Super Mario Galaxy 2--Ah the best game of the year! This game takes mario on another adventure that spans the galaxies. Not just him though, yoshi and luigi too! It is a BEEEAUTIFUL game and still has those tight controls that mario games are famous for! This game will keep you playing, even missing school and sleep over it! Truly this is an amazing game, but words fail to describe it. Hurry, and experience it! from easy to hard, from kids to adults, this game will satisfy everyone!!
Metroid: Other M--Oh a dark twist on the metroid series, with voice acting! From 2d to first person, this game will thrill you to the bone! Its no call of duty, but plays just as great, although the controls are a tad difficult.
