1. Ha China Town =P
2. LOL the hunter (unlicensed) doctor is in the back of a effing grocery in china town. WTFFFFFFF rofl That's sanitary. Another reason why it sucks to be a hunter LAWL.

Ok, not feeling a full review this week, but I do have a few comments. . . .
1. Fantastic episode! Action packed, full of story for both brothers, aaaaannd.....
2. SAM GOT HIS SOUL BACK!!!!!! Thank you Sera! BEST Christmas present EVER!
3. Love love love love Death. Just sayin'. Every time we see him, I just love him more and more. He's so creepy without even really having to try. Plus, he always brings Dean food. AND, he gave Dean his brother back!
4. Speaking of Sam this episode... He was even more badass that normal (emphasis on the bad), but I can understand why he would be like that. I mean, without the soul, humans would just react to everything with basic animal instinct, and what's the most basic instinct? Self preservation. Without his soul, Sam would be more than willing to cross any lines to save himself. I'm glad he has his soul back now though. ^^ I'd say don't go scratching, Sam, but I know that'd be pointless. That's going to cause an issue at some point...
5. How CUTE was it that Dean wrote a letter to Ben in case he died?
6. I'm intrigued to see how they're going to start tying the Alphas/Purgatory and the Heavenly Civil war together in the second half of this season. Death pretty much told us that souls would be the glue that sticks it all together, so it'll be interesting to learn more about that. Plus, Sammy with his brand new (er.. old and tortured?) soul is sure to come to the front of that story line again, which will at least make the fans who complained all first half of the season about him not getting as much face time much happier.

I missed a lot of this because I was coughing all the way through, but I've got a hugey vast great quantity of shinyfied love for this episode (note to self, stop watching Firefly).
By character because I wasn't doing points.
Dean: So many nice little touches here, like Dean's distaste for the dirt around the 'doctor's' office when he was making his way in. And it was sweet to see that he thought of Ben in case something went wrong. Some parts of him are starting to annoy me though, like the way that he keeps demanding things of people like he thinks that he's entitled or something. The universe does NOT revolve around you, Dean, time to take a step back. Death owes you nothing. Also, how did he NOT know about the fact that Death makes wagers and not deals?? I've known this since I was five. Knew he wouldn't manage his stint as death as well, it's not in Dean's nature. It was good to see him learn that everything has consequences though, even him and Sam coming back all the time causes a ripple. Also, thank Chuck he got back to Sam and Bobby in time and beat the crap out of Sam. The bit with the ring after they locked Sam in the panic room as well, I half expected Dean to put it on and just kill Sam once and for all. I mean, there's dangerous robo!Sam and then there's Bobbykilling!Sam.
Sam: By the way, Sammy, soul back or no, the two little friends that you require to make children are now mine. I might even take the other friend that goes with them. I'm thinking fried for daring to touch a hair on Bobby's head. Kudos to Jared, though, he's been doing fantastically as Sam this season and it was great to see genuine panic on Sam's face when he realised that Death was going to put his soul back.
Bobby: I swear, that man's house just gets more awesome by the episode. Panic room, steel titanium reinforced doors. Freaking. Trap. Door! I love Bobby with an epic amount of glee faces and I swear I was screaming when Sam tried to kill him.
Balthazar: Ok, that angel. Seriously. I think I might have a little bit of love for him. Really. He's epic and evil. Also he said that Mike and Luci are "hate banging" Sam's soul which sent my mind to dirty places. Lets not go into the screwing Dean comment because my head pulled a Balty vs Cas show down for Dean's affections out of nowhere and we know how warped my head is. He's up to something and I can't wait to find out what it is.
Death: *flails* I LOVE Death!!! I never thought I'd find a representation of Him that I liked as much or almost better than Terry Pratchett's (and this is saying something because I've loved that Death since I was 12) but this Death almost wins me over totally. Julian Richings really gives us the best performance as a mild mannered Death who has a brilliant threatening undertone. He's actually more threatening in his way than any of the angels or demons we've seen over the course of the show. Also, Death calls Sam and Dean an affront to the balance of the universe. This gives me a little warm fuzzy feeling. It probably shouldn't. If it wasn't something that would kill me totally dead I'd love to tackle hug Death. Seriously. I never expected him to bring back Sam's soul, though, I really didn't. But what does he mean with it being all about the souls?
Tessa: Also love her. She's the sort of strong female character that Supernatural has trouble with. Her attitude towards Dean was perfect too. "You're a pain in my a**. Why am I putting up with you?"
Over all, fabulous episode, aside from the cliffie at the end and the fact that we've not got to wait 6 freaking weeks for the next one *curls into a ball and cries*

Balthazar: "I’m not a fan of your brother, so screwing him would delight me.”
and
Dean: "Are you serious?"
Death: "No, I'm being incredibly sarcastic"
The first one reminds me of Dapper Blaine, but that's from a completely different fandom, so I had to go with the second one for my vote...

New found respect for the character. And Bobby seems to always be full of suprises. <33 Love you Bobby! Bobby IS always full of surprises, and so is his house. First there was the devil's trap in the study they trapped Meg in back in season 1. Then there was the panic room in season 4. Now there's a trap door to the basement! What will we find next?

haha I guess there's no need to be too repetitive and review in depth since most of you covered everything!
So I'll try to be short.
1. Death is awesome! You gotta luv him. He's so intimidating yet he's so calm, cool, and collected. I think that's what makes you twice as nervous. I dont get his thing with fast food though. haha. rofl
2. I didnt think Dean could be Death that long. He got too personally attached, but hey that's Dean and we love him for it.
3. I wanted to choke Sam in this episode. (and make it his 999th time being choked) scream
4.Props to bobby for having (a) an awesome rigged house and (b) at least being one step ahead of Sam in the beginning
5. Tessa, great to see her back. She was a bit fiesty-er is this eppy, but considering Dean being her boss for a day, lol understandable. Love the begining when she's like "Wait why are you dead? Dont tell me you died to ask me a favor." rofl
6. ROFLOLZ Balty. Okay I'm totally picking his quote "I’m not a fan of your brother, so screwing him would delight me.” LOL that coupled with the funny look Sam gave him was hilarious.
@ Balty's comment at Cas being Sam's bf. lol haha that would be a funny way of showing it Sam, threatening to hunt him down and all. confused
7. If it were on the poll I might have picked "Everything is dust in the wind."
"Is THAT it? A Kansas song? Dean's words of wisdom LOLZ
8. I still dont understand why Balty even helped Sam..or why he had wanted to kill him..but okay.. I think we did miss something confused
9. While we are on that, I'm a bit surprised Death helped as well despite Dean losing. But I suppose the whole point of him playing Death and losing was to learn a lesson and once he learned it he did win the wager in a way..*shrugs*
Also his cryptic message about souls being a key was.. um well cryptic.
10. Okay it was super weird seeing Sam look that frightened when Death was giving him his soul because he's spent half the season acting emotionless.
11. Uggg I knew we'd be left on a semi cliff hanger! And is that our Sammy in the promo? I'm gonna cry crying He even looks different...
Now the wait.. neutral
