Esther and Lockhart

Ashy had just realized Lockhard was not food, got bored, and walked away, Esther watching the whole thing, and feeling pity for the pup.

Esther: ...-attempts to catch Lockhart's eye- U-umm..
Lockhart: ~notices Esther~ 'Something you need ma'am?'
Esther: -shakes head quickly and looks away- ... -slowly looks back up- It's just...You're a very cute puppy, is all ^^;
Lockhart: ~looks sheepish~ 'don't let meh make ya shy, no one's said that to meh before. I...I'hve had ta look after mahself yknow, never met a nice adult female liek you.'
Esther: -looks slightly shocked, and begins to pad over slowly- Really? Never?
Lockhart: ~tilts his head to the side confused by her disbelief~
"Yeah nevah. Why do you ask Ma'am?" He yawned, feeling a touch tired out after the events of the day.
Esther: It's just..-shakes head- So bizzare for someone so young to have never met a kind female.
Lockhart: "is it? Gloam calls hisself mah 'adoptive pa'. He wanders, so I wander too..."
~he tilts his head to the side at her kinda wanting to go snuggle in her fur~
Esther: -nods- It is. -smiles a little- When I was a pup, even I had someone to look after me..-sits down on haunches and smiles down at him, seeing a little of herself in the pup-
Lockhart: 'That musta been nice. I wish I'da have that.'
~he nuzzles her fur and catches himself~
"Sorry, you're just so nice ma'am.'
~he blushes a bit embarrrased~
Esther: -about to say something when she jumps a bit and glances down at him in surprise- ...-smiles warmly and nuzzles the top of his head- It's okay. And...You can have that...If...you want. -smiles invitingly and tips head a little-
Lockhart: ~looks up to her with wide innocent eyes~
'Would you be my ma ma'am?'
Esther: -looks a little surprised, but smiles- ...If you'd like that, I would be. Of course.
