•Name: Path of the Dragon •Preferred Nicknames: Mete, Metem and Dragon •Age: 21 •Current Status: In college co-op 40 hours a week. •RPing for: Over 9 years •Preferred style: Past Tense; Third Person; Proper Grammatical Structure •Likes: Literacy, Respect, Attention to detail, People who keep OOC conflicts OOC Planning, Having fun •Dislikes: People who make OOC conflict IC conflict, Pointless antagonism, Godmodding, Plotless romance
•Understand that 90% of the time, I operate on a semi-literate to literate roleplay standard. I expect at least one paragraph per post (4 - 6 sentences) If you find you are having a hard time coming up with something, take your time, or simply explain that you are having writers block. Be wary with this, however, as I will not be very amused if every second post is two sentences with a writers block excuse attached. Also, no use of ChatSpeak will be accepted - it makes me want to stab my eyes out and I happen to like my eyes. Thanks.
•No Godmodding will be permitted in any shape or form when I roleplay with anyone. If you do this, I will tell you and wait until the post is modified. My characters are my own and are not to be controlled by others unless I give express permission beforehand - and the same is to be said of yours. I don't mind if you want to knock my character silly, but ask me first. You will note that I always ask, no matter how small a thing it may seem. Please extend me the same courtesy.
•Avoid clairvoyance (Reading a characters thoughts and having your character respond to them, or having your character know things you as a player know but the character should not)
•Mary Sue's and Larry Stu's are a peculiar thing for me. They make me want to laugh in mockery, cry in shame at humanity, and exhibit horrible violence upon them all at once. Its an odd mixture of emotion, let me tell you. So, please avoid playing Mr. / Mrs. Perfect with me. I prefer being of a stable mindset.
•For the love of God, leave the OOC in the OOC. If there's something going on that has you needing to talk to me, (Either you're mad at me, concerned for me, annoyed with life in general) don't take it out on my characters through yours. Address the situation or separate yourself from it. There's no reason to ruin a roleplay just because OOC / IRL sucks. Take a break for awhile then come back to it, if you need to, and remember I'm more than willing to hear you out if you just need to vent a bit - but in a strictly OOC fashion.
•Romance is not my top priority. While I don't mind romance, I don't think it should be the #1 only awesome reason for roleplay, orz. =.= I love character development and believe in natural forming relationships with my characters. In the event I do agree to a romantic relationship, it will be discussed OOCly first and it should be noted that I do mostly Male x Male pairings, as I play those the best, but I am open to Male x Female. Female x Female I simply can't do. I've tried, but I can't.
•Respect me, and I guarantee you will receive the same courtesy. I'm actually a very friendly person and very open minded, so please don't feel put off by my rules. These are just things I put up cause after all my years of roleplaying, I have gone through some pretty horrific stuff and I'd really like to avoid repeating those same experiences of utter fail, y'know? XD I like to have fun and enjoy myself and I like to surround myself with people who have the same values - so lets have fun together and get to know one another and the characters, shall we? ^_^

Representative Color: Black •Name:Hidenori
•Meaning: 'Superior Rule'
•Gender: Male
•Age: Unknown.
•Alignment: Yako
•Twin Brother: Kei (Coming Soon)
•Mate: None
•Offspring: None
•Personality: Hidenori is cold as snow and as manipulative as the wind that blows it. His motives are never truly known, and his opinions are generally stated solely to serve some additional purpose rather than because he truly feels as he says he does. He is constantly testing the people around him, though what he is testing them for and just what it is he wants is as mysterious as everything else about him. He has been accused of 'toying with lives' on more than one occasion, but he cares little for the ire of others and does as he pleases. He is contemptuous and sometimes cruel in his games and manipulations, as he is often so busy looking at the bigger picture he fails to see the strain placed on the here and now. Hidenori has a strong dislike for many things, but whether or not his ultimate goals are as cruel as they seem now is unknown. Whether he is truly evil, or lost in some grand scheme of his own design for some betterment of the world, is known only to him and perhaps, to his brother Kei.
•Likes: Shadows, magic, reading, puzzles, riddles, tests and Kei. He also enjoys tea and French pastries.
•Dislikes: Fools, ignorance, those who fail their given tests, undeserved arrogance, and pets. He also hates squid and wasabi.

Representative Color: Goldenrod
•Name:He goes by the shortened form, Kei.
•Meaning: 'Joyful'
•Gender: Male
•Age: Unknown.
•Alignment: Zenko
•Twin Brother: Hidenori
•Mate: None
•Offspring: None
•Personality: Kei comes across as very calm and serene. He tends to lead people to self discovery through the most gentle prodding and manipulation imaginable, well over ninety percent of the time leaving the individual entirely unaware that he did anything at all to intervene or assist, unless the individual absolutely needs to be aware or will not take a subtle hint.
Behind his professional demeanour however, Kei is fiercely protective, and wickedly intelligent. Everything he does is done with some sort of purpose in mind. He's notorious for plotting, and every plot he has serves a greater purpose for those involved. Be it a healing road or something altogether different, Kei seems to be constantly painting on a larger canvas then the rest of people. Kei has a bad habit of falling into maniacal laughter when there is a sudden breakthrough with a patient, especially if that breakthrough comes in a surprising or unexpected way. Naturally, he tends to do this in private, though there are times.
•Likes: Tea, reading, gardens, observing, solace, peace, meditation and serenity.
•Dislikes: Disruptive behavior, cruelty, trauma, and listening to harrowing tales that he knows he cannot change - to sit and listen to the most terrible things that have happened in others lives and maintain complete calm, rather than breaking down with them is perhaps the hardest and least liked aspect of his life.

•Name:Hiroyuki
•Meaning: 'Broad Happiness'
•Age: 17
•Alignment: Zenko
•Gender: Male
•Orientation: Flamingly gay
•Mate: None
•Offspring: None
•Personality: Hiroyuki's name is extremely befitting of him. He is boundlessly energetic and endlessly happy. No matter what happens, Hiroyuki always has a smile and a positive outlook on the situation. Although there is more to Hiroyuki than meets the eye, he is at his very core a very good and gentle kitsune who genuinely cares for anyone who wants to be his friend. Those who become true friends and not just mere acquaintances, have in their paws (or hands) a very devoted and loving friend who will always want to see them happy.
•Likes: Being happy, playing games (or pranks) rolling in new grass, chasing butterflies, singing for no apparent reason, chewing on Hidenori's ears, and sleeping on Hidenori's tail. ( Its a fluffy pillow man D: )
•Dislikes: Thunderstorms, tsunamis, winter, big bugs, snakes, spiders, scary things in general, and people being mean to him or his friends.

[ ~ Hiroyuki's History ~ ]
Hiroyuki was born of his hoshi no tama on a stormy August evening to an incredibly shallow and selfish young boy, who instantly informed his father as the tiny kit shivered before him that he 'wanted another one, because this one was too ugly.' The father did attempt to reason with the boy, but nothing could be done. The star ball was left with the kit inside a cardboard box that was set outside under a tree, both of which did very little to keep the colorful bundle of fur dry in any way.
By all rights, he should have died, but he was discovered by Hidenori before nature could take its course that stormy night. The elder kitsune had looked down his nose at the little one with eyes both cold and impenetrable as the kit whimpered up at him, cold, hungry, and frightened out of its wits. Wordlessly, Hidenori took its star ball and tucked it against the band of beads around his forepaw. It glowed a moment before hanging amongst the others on the string as Hidenori reached in and plucked the kit out of the box like a mother cat would a kitten.
After taking him home, drying and feeding him, Hidenori wrapped his large tail around the kit and spoke for the first time. You're a bright one, aren't you? The kit drooped, tucked itself further into the tail in fear of being tossed away again, but the other merely set a paw between his ears. Such bright colors are joyous, no? You should be called Hiroyuki - he who brings great happiness.
The kit perked his ears, and in that moment knew that he had a name. He fell asleep tucked up against Hidenori that night, curled up in his tail, and when he woke the following morning he pranced around those dangerously clawed paws and insisted on playing. Hidenori would idly flick him with a paw, causing the kit to roll like a ball a good distance, which Hiroyuki considered great fun.
As he grew, Hiroyuki came to realize that Hidenori seldom spoke, though when he was of a mind he could speak for hours on end. The elder adored riddles, so Hiroyuki would often try and come up with his own, or make a game of harder ones he read in books. Hiroyuki also learned that Hidenori rarely allowed anyone to get close to him, and easily brushed off nearly everyone who tried. Because of this, Hiroyuki was especially affectionate to the older male and kept his insecurities hidden behind his boundless energy and need for entertainment.
Then one night, when Hiroyuki was ten, he wandered off with a stranger who he'd been talking with for a few hours. The other eventually parted for home, and Hiroyuki found that he was completely lost. It was dark out, and the more he wandered the more scared he became. He nearly died of heart failure when he walked into a spider web, and ran screaming for a good distance before he collapsed on his paws and cried. A sound startled him and he looked up to find Hidenori looking down at him from his long nose. Instantly the young kitsune ran to him, and found himself soundly cuffed upside the head. It was the first time Hidenori struck him, and while it wouldn't be the last it was also, in Hiroyuki's view, the most important.
Don't ever run away from me again, Hiroyuki. Do you have any idea what could have happened to you if you'd gotten to far away from me? The elder held up his paw of beads, reminding Hiroyuki of his hoshi no tama, which was disguised among them. For the briefest of moments, Hiroyuki feared Hidenori, wondered for the first time why he kept the star ball that held Hiroyuki's life force. You scared me half out of my mind, you witless pup!
That was the first time Hiroyuki ever heard Hidenori express fear for anyone, and as years passed Hiroyuki heard that fear expressed twice more because of some silly (and dangerous) situation Hiroyuki managed to get himself into. But it was that day that Hiroyuki's insecurities went away, and he realized Hidenori cared for him. He kept the ball because he was strong enough to hide and protect it for Hiroyuki's sake, but there was little he could do if Hiroyuki disappeared on him.
Life got increasingly better for Hiroyuki after that (and increasingly irritating for Hidenori) He spent a great deal of time running around and making friends, but he always stayed close to Hidenori. When he turned fifteen, Hidenori offered him his ball to hide on his own, but Hiroyuki had refused. He wanted to be with Hidenori - whom he had long since come to think of as his father - and if he got his ball back, he had a very sinking fear that Hidenori would have no more reason to keep him around. He'd been the only constant thing in Hidenori's life that he'd seen in the past fifteen years - the only thing ever allowed close to any sense of truth - but in all that time, Hidenori had never once said he loved Hiroyuki in any way, or that he saw him as a son.
Every year after that, when Hidenori offered the ball, Hiroyuki would staunchly refuse and request that Hidenori keep it. The fact he offered it each year unsettled Hiroyuki, and he feared Hidenori was growing weary of him. He remains as happy as ever, but deep inside, Hiroyuki is terrified that the one friend he loves most, the one he wants so badly to call his father, doesn't want him around any longer. It weighs heavily on him, but Hiroyuki bravely keeps his fears hidden and keeps smiling, because that is who he is. He is the one who brings great happiness - right, Hidenori?
