Personality: Kanore is a charismatic character concealed behind a stoic persona which is often mistaken for irritation. Kanore is actually very calm and collected man with a penetrating voice and a literate form of expression. He puts much emphasis on each word as though they had the most profound of meanings by themselves. In intense battle he sports a smirk and though he is heavily strategic and intelligent he seems to show little care for his own well-being.
Like: challenges, difficult battles, duels, victories, disadvantagous situations, battles of wit, chess, videogames, red wine and strong liquor, competitive sports, interresting conversations.
Dislikes: Hollows in general, weaklings, loud-mouths, arrogants, tobacco, beer and white wine, history.
Physical Description: Kanore Is a lean and tall man with crimson red eyes, a fair yet pale skin and silver neck-lenght hair which he wears down in a wild setting. His already height is further enhanced by his tendancy to wear getas (traditional japanese platform shoes, usually adding 3 to 4 inches in height) and he prefers to wear red undercloaths over the traditional white ones. His left and right indexes both sport a ring, the left one being made of steel and sporting the head of a tiger, it's mouth holding a black orb in its mouth, the right own being made of iron, sporting the head of a dragon holding a white orb in its mouth. He also wears a black chocker which is covered by a white scarf made of the purest silk. His captain haori's bottom edge is jagged and his sleeves have been torn off, revealing the sleeves of his kosode which hide tribal tattoos covering both arms. His reiatsu is purple.
Other: Kanore is ambidextrous while he was originally a lefty. Also his reiatsu is generally visible to the naked eye.
Special Items: The rings on his fingers, his chocker which seals his spiritual pressure to a set level of 40%.
Skills: Kanore is the most proefficient zanjutsu and haduka user of the Gotei 13 as should be any captain of the 11th division. He is also well versed in shunpo, easily ranking ammongst the fastest shinigamis. His ability to sense others is unparalleled and he is excellent at pinpointing a person's weakness at a single glance. His spiritual pressure is immense and his abilities as a strategist are only dwarfed by his abilities as a swordsman.
Abilities: Kanore's right ring the ryuenjin can be used to utilize any sort of kido without the required incantation without diminishing its power. Meanwhile his left ring taroringu can be used to utilize the bala, cero, cero oscuras and all other abilities generally reserved to hollows. With or without his zanpakuto, his spiritual pressure alone terrifies others to the point where even the bravest person's strength and speed will subconciously drop to half its usual ammount. His nails like claws allow him to slice through air, attacking from a distance even without the aid of techniques. Last but not least, he is capable of manipulating gravity trough willpower alone, so much so that any attempt at blocking or surviving a downward attack by his hand is doomed to fail.
History: Kanore was hailed as a genius for aquiring bankai upon his first year in the academy, because of this and his ability to perfectly accomplish each task set before him he was instantanuously asigned the role of captain. While he was suggested for every division save for the 10th which was already taken he decided to take the 11th for personal reasons, giving him the honorary title of Kenpachi, which he took on as a surname rather then a first name as tradition would desire. Oftentimes people would jealous him, in which cases he was not afraid to accept challenges and vanquish his opponents instantanuously. Despite his lesser origins, he was adopted into the Ookami family and to this day remains its current head.
He is most reknowned for a battle in which he took on and defeated a hundred arrancar and their lesser menos and hollow brethren, totalling at a million foes. He refuses to tell of his past as a child of the 80th district, where he was forced to practically exterminate half the population just to survive for an extra day. While a reknown strategist, he preffers to go in solo and is reputed for never making his subordinates take on something he could not do himself. A loved captain ammongst his troups and a fearless combatant on the field, it is difficult to say anything other then that he is the military genius by excellence.

Zanpaku-to: funtenzo maou (wrathful devil)

Release Phase(Bankai): Bring forth the Gehenna, summon the everlasting hellfire and send the universe spiralling down into eternal chaos! Nekura Funtenzo Maou!
Sealed Description: Unlike most zampakuto Funtenzo Maou is a Nodachi which's total lenght equals 6 feet. The lack of a tsuba (hanguard) and the red jade scabbard and crimson wrapped hilt make it an unusually flashy weapon. It's blade is completely straight, contrasting with the usual curve of japanese blades, but it converves its sharp tip.
Spirit Description: Funtenzo Maou is a gold-skinned 10 foot tall giant with a heavy muscular built and crimson hair reaching down his back. His eyes and the heavy aura surrounding him match Kanore's purple reiatsu. Sharp fangs, claws and two large horns complete the portrait of this monstrous devil. Wearring a thorn sleeveless black haori on which the characters for "fury" "rage" "wrath" and "revenge" are written in vermillion upon the sides, a metallic armor covering his right arm strapped with a black belt across his chest and greaves typical to samurais, he appears to be an oni. His personality ressembles that of Kanore with slightly rougher edges and he speaks in the deep voice of a devil. Agreeing always with Kanore's charismatic descisions, he is his most loyal partner.
Shikai Description: In shikai form, Funtenzo Maou becomes a sword which sport slightly greater length compared to the sealed zanpaku-to. The blade gains a black color with an indigo hue and is surrounded by the same reiatsu as Kanore. The scabbard vanishes entirely and the hilts become entirely black. The blades gain slightly in width and sport each 9 small holes across the blunt side of the blade which are each surrounded by 13 small onyxes. Finally, a jet-black skull-shaped pummel sporting two horns and ruby eyes demarks the weapon.
Shikai Abilities: The released Funtenzo Maou turns the sky a jet-black color and is surrounded by the devastating reiatsu originating from kanore, extending it further. It dramatically enhances his speed and strength, focusing on the latter. While in this form Funtenzo Maou's attacks strike further then the blades length, reaching a maximum of 2 miles by swing.
1. gekirin; An indigo hue burst of energy emanating from the tip of the blade upon a swing, in addition to devastating power its gravitational pull attracts everything into its path.
2. tenbatsu: A gate opens behind Kanore and from it are exposed a countless ammount of violet blades. They fire repetitively towards the enemy at impossible speed, slicing and dicing through them with the force of a thousand slashes.
3.doki: Releasing his shinigami limitations, Kanore's skin becomes a grey shade of blue and his eyes gain the same hue as Funtenzo Maou. His abilities increase dramatically in every aspect and his power increases tenfold. The only problem is that in this state he cannot stop until he loses conciousness or his opponent dies.
4. zettai hitoare: A sudden burst shot from the palm, blade or mouth. While not quite as powerful as the gekirin it is five times as fast and can be used in rapid succession.
Bankai Description: Upon release, a hellish laughter can be heard resonating throughout the realms. In its bankai form Funtenzo Maou becomes a large scythe which's shaft ressembles a spine. the blade itself is formed of pure energy, purple in hue and able to change in size at will. On the other side of the blade is the thorax and skull of the same demon which was on the pummel of the shikai form. At the end of the shaft is an oversized purple claw and onyxes are set into the joints of the spine. In addition to this, Kanore's shinigami outfit is replaced by a black cloak with jagged edges which's rim ressembles the purple lower jaw of a carnivore. under which lies a tenebral dark indigo runic light armor. Under the armor he wears form-fitting black leather shirt. The hood of the cloak is jet black and wears tribal purple signs ressembling the tattoos on the captain's arms. Last but not least, in bankai form Kanore's nails grow more pronounced and turn into purple-hued claws.
Bankai Abilities: In addition to all the abilities of his shikai Kanore's bankai increases all his abilities tenfold, which can be frightening when matched with his Doki ability. Along with that the spirit of Funtenzo Maou appears in the shadow created by his cloak. Black arms can stretch out and attack from the cloak as well as serve for defensive manoeuvers.
5. kentsukuwokuwasu: An overdriven version of the black arms summoned through his cloak, this one is directly controlled by the arm of his choice and its raw power is tenfold that of any attack in shikai form. While mostly used for punching, it is practical enough to grab, crush and even throw things.
6. gouka: a burst of purple flames which ensnares the opponent and refuses to die out. While consumed in the flames the opponent is assailed by illusions of their greatest fears.
7. zenshou: Summoning the zanpaku-to spirit Funtenzo Maou out in the open, allowing him to pull off his very own devastating attack. The demonic behemoth brings a devastating combo of slashing attacks with the aid of a weapon ressembling his shikai form. The slashes are made at light speed and end up carving through every single atom of the enemy.
8. shingouka: A fusion of every previous ability of Funtenzo Maou, all used in unison to converge onto one target. This attack is sealed by Kanore himself as it would anihilate the world it is used in.
9. shinsei: This ability allows the skeleton attached to the scythe to detach itself and take the form of any one dead person or creature. It can then use its abilities in their entirety and are completely controlled by Kanore's will. Once the bankai is finished, the person vanishes, returning to the world of the dead.

His name is "Kenpachi" Kanore Ookami.
Kenpachi is the traditional name given to the strongest shinigami, which is also traditionally given to the squad 11 captain.
However Kanore desired to keep his name, so it was instead added on as a surname. I added this somewhere in his story to avoid further confusion, hope that is ok with you ^^
