I loved all of your entries, but we did have to chose only one. With that said, the winner is tsukune14!! His entry was emotional and very heartfelt. His experience was one that I could relate with completely. His entry was inspirational as well as understandable. I will put his entry up, when I ask him if he wants to post it. (Clearly in the rules you were suppose to PM the entry rofl A lot of people didn't) All of you did a fantastic job and should feel proud of your work. I loved reading them. Thanks for entering. What made you join this guild?
I made this guild,and why I made it is for the community of people who had their futures in the direction of the anime/manga industry to collaborate,share their ideas,work together,and befriend each other. Looking through the guilds in the manga section,there were no manga artist guilds that I saw,so I decided to make my own one.On making it,I had high hopes of it gaining a lot of members and thriving. I still want it to be that way. I was away because I was working on the mangaka handbook and other things. I will be much more active now. ^^
Who inspired you to want to be a mangaka? I can't say who,but what. Anime and manga itself inspired me to become a mangaka. I loved the strong storylines and enjoyable characters,and I wanted people to enjoy it to. If I had to name one person to influence me to be a mangaka,it would be Ken Akamatsu. On reading his classic,Love Hina,that was when I wanted to be a mangaka. The romance and just,such a cute and quirky storyline made me want to create a romance manga just like it. Ken Akamatsu started my manga career,in whole,and I give him my regards.
Why are you so passionate about being a mangaka? To do something you love for the rest of your life,becoming known all around the world,getting awesome merchandise made of it,and get PAID for it? WHO wouldn't want that? First of all,I don't want to live a normal life. I want to die one day knowing that many people will remember my name. I want to live life to its fullest. I want people to experience the same great emotions and feelings when I watched anime.Manga and anime changed my life completely. For half my life,I didn't know what I wanted to be when I grew up. Now I know. There are 6.7 billion people in the world. I want to be the one of those 6.7 billion people that did something with their life.

Why are you so passionate about being a mangaka?
In all of my time trying to be a mangaka I had plenty of fun and pleasant moments but still this isn't the reason I love drawing manga so much.
You see...drawing manga is like being able to create your own little world,a world full of joy,love,hate,sorrow,friendship,rivalry.Putting your imagination and feelings together and placing them on paper brings you to new heights,not only mentally but emotionally as well.Writing a tale,a legend,a history...giving birth to many different heroes each with their own unique personality,wondrous characteristics and facing them with a vast ocean of challenges.You can never stop answering the call of excitement and passion.Either you leave a legacy or just a warm memory...your thoughts echo throughout the world reaching the hearts of every single person that understands the beauty of a creation such as a manga filled with the authors effort,joy and vision.The felling of accomplishing something like this,strikes you in so many ways that is sometimes indescribable.You just know that you would want to never stop...This is the reality of a fictional world and this,my friends...is also the reason I am so passionate about becoming a mangaka.
(I'm sorry if I misspelled certain parts,my English isn't exactly something to brag about.)

Who inspired you to want to be a mangaka?
My very first inspiration was a girl named Abby in 6th grade. She was very sweet, quiet, and a hardcore yaoi zealot (thank God she grew out of that sweatdrop ). Anyway, I just thought she was the best manga artist ever, although looking back on it she wasn't as great as I made her out to be. I would always ask her to show me how to draw like that, and she was always so patient with me. If I hadn't met her, I would be a completely different person and not even close to being a good artist. Watching her draw was always truly inspiring, and now whenever I draw I think about her and silently thank her for new talent she gave me.
