Hello and welcome the the 75th annual HUNGER GAMES!!! In the ruins of a place once known as North America lies the nation of Panem, a shining Capitol surrounded by twelve outlying districts. The Capitol is harsh and cruel and keeps the districts in line by forcing them all to send one boy and one girl between the ages of twelve and eighteen to participate in the annual Hunger Games, a fight to the death on live TV.
We need 24 (or fewer) teenagers that will be chosen on Reaping Day. Will your name be drawn? If not, you're safe for another year. If so, you're a contestant. You will train at Panem's capitol and show the Gamemakers what you can do. Then the games will begin.
Remember, the only rule is STAY ALIVE. May the odds be ever in your favor!
