Ah, the Murrow house! Or shoe, whichever one would prefer to label the building. It really was meant to be a house, but, well, someone had sent his shoe blueprint to the architect and the house blueprint to the shoemaker, so now the three were left with a pair of houses to put on their feet and one, large shoe to live inside. All thanks to Neil that someone who will remain anonymous. Once inside the residence, there is a combined kitchen, dining, and living room to the right all cramped into the toe of the home. Though 'cramped' may be used, it is still a fairly decent-sized area. The kitchen is just a notch above that of a room at the inn's would provide, a small counter, one fridge, and a little oven right below two cupboards. The 'dining room' is basically a round table meant for four at most close to the kitchen, with the 'living room' taking up the other half of the area.

To the left is a staircase and short hall. Going up would lead someone to a pair of equally sized rooms, while going down the hall would do the same, aside from one bathroom being squeezed in between the lower set of rooms. The only thing differing here is the residents of said rooms. The first room at the top of the stairs is none other than Neil Murrow, the eldest brother and local reporter. The room just beyond that is Robert Murrow's room, the lead (and only) private investigator of Nirvani! Covering the first floor, the first room is the brothers' younger sibling, Catrina Murrow, with the last room being empty. The last area of the home is accessible from the outside, where a door leading down to the basement lies. This, though, is only the location of Robert's private investigation service.

While Ilex waited outside, since no one in this home was his to care for, Hyacinth entered the home quietly to find no stockings set up for them. She only slightly took note of that, though, while she found a table in the small dining section of the home to set her own gifts and letters down. Next to a envelope with Neil Murrow's name on it was a bowl of soup – carrot soup! Perhaps the best bowl of carrot soup ever made on the island!

Of all my followers, you have been kind enough to stay on track! I thank you for that, as well as aiding one of your fellow into coming back into her duties. You should continue with this good work of yours and perhaps treat Mr. BoJangle to something nice, the mouse needs to get some pampering amidst that busy schedule of his. I'm enjoying your brother, but your sister.. I would recommend you putting her in a sack and drowning her in the river IF that wasn't illegal and would cost you a visit from John and Romane. I suppose keep her doped up on cold medicine until you can rightfully kick her out.. Oh, I'm getting ahead of myself. Thank you, Neil, and pay me a visit!

Across from the steaming soup, a jar of confused fireflies lit up the dark room. Atop the little gift was another envelope, this time with Robert Murrow written on it.

It's good to see a new addition to the island like yourself, Robert! I'm pleased to see you joining your brother to give this island more driven individuals. I can't say I'm happy to know you brought your sister with you.. But, I understand the duties of an elder sibling. I just ask that you make sure she doesn't swallow anymore mice and rats. Regardless, I haven't watched you long enough to know just how good of a human you are, but I do have hope and that is why I have given you a group of my friends to entertain. Be sure to let them out soon! Ah, Azure is afraid of the dark and none of them can swim.. Please put them to bed before 9PM.

When Neil woke up and walked downstair, he was surprised by the carrot smell floating in the air. He loved Carrots! But... why could that smell be there? He noticed a bowl of soup, with an evelope next to it. Being the curious sort, he read it, of couse! Well, his name was written on it, after all. He read and then , crumbled it and threw it away in the garbage bin. It was one other of Catrina's tricks of course. Oh, that child was so energetic! He simply ate the carrot soup. However, it was probably the best soup he had ever tated! He would had to learn how his sister did it, but for now, he had a date to attend to!

//Exit Neil.

I was awake for a while, trying to figure out everything that had happen that past week. So many questions, yet so little answers. All that was giving me a headache. I decided that I had been moping in bed long enough and that it was time I got dressed and leaved my room. As I walked out of the door way, I was able to catch a glimpse of a man leaving the house. Judging from the green coat he had and the fact that there was only one other man living here, it didn't took much for me to understand that it was to be my brother. I would be a very awful detective if I couldn't even guess that much.

As I walked in the kitchen, I was surprised by a pot full of fireflies. I sight heavily, trying to wonder what had went through the head of that girl, once again. It was only when I read the letter addressed to me that I understood that it wasn't Catrina's doing. That was not her handwriting...paw-writing...thing. This was one of those other events happening here. This was all part of the Hanabero's mystery. But... what did it mean? I glanced once more toward the fireflies, trying to see some sort of meaning in them... I failed. Instead, I read the letter again. There ought to be something in it.... Azure... why was one firefly named but not the others? Azure... it meant.. Sky... Sky... Celest. Yes. That was a codename! This letter was sent to me by that girl I had met the previous Eve. There was no doubt about it. Then... the rest must have been a sort of codes too.... Not happy about my sister? Could it be... could it be that Catrina's life was in Danger? Where was she anyway? It was too calm! She wasn't here! Did they kidnapped her? I had to figure something! Was there a other hint in the letter? There ought to be one... Afraid of the Dark... Can't Swim... 9pm... Yes! It was all clear! The only place that helped people not be in the dark and swim was the lighthouse! I had to meet Celest at the lighthouse a 9pm.... With that much understanding, I put my coat and my hat on. I wouldn't be going there no prepared...

//Exit Robert

User ImageLittle wings buzzed furiously as a small blue creature of blue sparkles landed in front of the oddly shaped home. Now, Lavender wasn't really too fond of this certain mark on her list, but he knew love, no matter how disturbing the love was.. Sneaking along, she clapped her hands together and in a poof of little due drops, a small colorful conch shell poofed into existence. Nodding, she stepped up to the home plate and tapped a little finger on her little chin. What was she to tell the strange man? Try something with a body at least half developed? No.. Well, just think of conversation! Lavender frowned as she realized she's been alone in a damp cave for the past few months listening to others have conversation pretending she was apart of it like some creepy lonely – she'll do fine. Talking aloud, she wrote it down on a summoned piece of paper at the same time. Just say your thoughts, honesty is best, right? Yeah.

Dear child-loving man,
I believe that you are confused but that's okay,
because I'm also confused. Well not so confused,
you know? There's this girl I like – I'm a girl too
by the way – and well she's just so attractive!
Curls my toes to think of her taking a nice hot
bath... The water bathing her – it'd be like I got
to all the bases! But, she doesn't notice me!
I try so hard, I keep my wings nice and
sparkly and for five inch tall fairy I'm
working a pretty nice body! What does
a fairy have to do to get some attention
around here? I mean, come on! Sure
I live in a cave all by myself spending
my time talking to fish and seals, but
we all have our sides we don't really
talk about to other people! Caves
aren't that bad! Kinda cozy... And who
doesn't – oh wait I'm writing this about
you em.. Keep up the nice work! Make
lots of friends!

PS: 12 isn't that good of a number, just
saying!

Nodding her head at her work, she tucked it in an envelope with Fredrick Murrow written on top, set the conch shell on top of it with a doodled heart in the corner of her letter. All was done, now to move to the next one.

Daffodil figures a Murrow would be smart.. since the majority of them are under Hyacinth, and Hyacinth is super smart, the girl here must be super smart too! So she left her a gift for super smart people. A jigsaw puzzle with 500 pieces, of a puppy and kitty trying to climb into the same teacup. This time she had it in five boxes! The more boxes the more fun they will have! Daffodil left this gift in Catrina's bedroom.

If anyone slept for as long as Catrina did, they ought to be shot. Well, in reality, it was more like she stayed up all night trying to catch that all too smart Mr. BoJangle. He was a really tricky sort, that mouse! But, one day, Catrina would swallow the mouse whole and then carry on with her life like nothing had happened. Sure, she didn't want to depress Neil when his faithful companion disappeared, but.. the mouse was gonna die someday anyway. She'd get him a kitten~ Or.. Is that what she THOUGHT it was?!

Catrina was heading down the stairs, holding something carefully in her oversized-gloved hands. She had found the most wonderful of wonderful things that morning~! No, it wasn't the empty, dirty bowl Neil hadn't washed or the very entrancing jar of fireflies.. but a box. A WHOLE BOX. She mewled in delight and excitement as she jumped onto the table and started to bat the box around. It took a good number of chews, swaps, and throws, before the rattling container popped open. More like fell apart, but at least she got to see what was inside! ..Another box.. “Myaaoo~!!!” This was turning into the best day EVER! She mewed once again and chased after the best toy she had gotten in weeks eagerly.

~Time-Skipping~

She wasn't sure how many hours it had been, but little Catrina was gasping for air and sweating like a dog when she was done. A pleased smile crossed her lips and she rolled onto her back, rubbing her head into the destroyed box. When she had come to the last of the boxes, she was pleased to find out that there was even entrails in there for her to chew on! It was why her mouth was in motion right then as she bit into the tasteless, oddly shaped chip. ..But even that fun would bore a little cat. Lidded eyes opened as she spat out the jigsaw piece, back into the mess of cardboard she had made before. She stood up, stretched slowly and languidly to head into the kitchen for a snack. After scavenging the refrigerator and cupboards, she came out with a bag of shrimp. Pot filled up, sugar bag emptied into the water, and every last shrimp she could fit was plopped in to boil for her breakfast. Sweet shrimp~ Of course, she would later add cream to the sugar water and drink that, but now she had to- SEASHELL.

She darted to the table, hopping up again to find a conch. A wonderful conch! Was anything inside it~? She examined it as carefully as she had the box. ..Which meant throwing it against the wall and hoping for a crab or something edible to fall out. When nothing happened, she prowled on the table in wait for the shell to crawl away, ready for another game of chase.. But, again, nothing happened! She slumped in disappointment before her eyes trailed over to read the letter that came along with the conch. ..Fredrick K. Murrow? Wasn't.. wasn't that Freddie? Why were they getting Freddie's mail?! She thought he was somewhere else! Far away from here! Wide, focused eyes stared at the blue envelope, her mind slowly working out a conclusion to this oddity. There wasn't an address.. so that meant someone had to have hand delivered this! Hm.. “Nyau~!!” That was it!! She smiled slyly and hopped down, turning off the oven with a flick of her paw. She considered eating first, but decided against it in favor of starting her investigation. Murrow Junior Detective, away~!!

~Exit Catrina~

Ah, her second favorite home~ Hyacinth had decided to go down the chimney for this one, if only because she didn't want to alarm the dog by accidentally poofing in beside his face. Dogs truly were light sleepers, almost too much for her taste. She had to wonder why Neil would be able to put up with it, but, oh, she wasn't here to wonder. She immediately went to the kitchen table as she had the year before and set her first note addressed to Neil Murrow on the table, right beside the spot where a delicious bowl of carrot soup was set, just the same as the one before.

I don't think there has been one thing you've done this year I disagree with! Every coffee break you take if full of nothing but talk of your own work, with your actual time spent on accomplishing your goals being nothing but progressive. No one should have a secret on Nirvani and, truly, by this point in time, almost everyone doesn't. ..You should know what is wrong with that statement, Neil. Almost everyone doesn't. I believe you've been doing perfect so far, but that doesn't mean you should at all take it easy in your work – not that I believe you will.. Or.. I didn't, before you allowed that sibling of yours to join your midst. At least you were smart enough to leave her be when she ran off, which is restoring my trust in your abilities and giving my viewings of your daily life less of a headache.

Across the table to prevent the confusion of one of the men accidentally taking the wrong bowl of soup, she set her letter to Robert Murrow down and then conjured up the cucumber-flavored soup.

Hello, Robert – I would like to start with saying how wonderful it was to make your acquaintance beyond these yearly letters. I did hope you would come to visit me again, but once is far more than the majority of my followers have done and I don't wish to have you slack in your work due to my requests. Another visit would be appreciated in the coming year, however I ask you leave your friends behind, unless they happen to be of a more respectable nature. As for your performance this year, I believe you have performed to the best of your abilities and, though you could have easily done better after your visit with me, I won't ask the world of you. ..Unless you wish to, then I would ask you see me at once so we may discuss such plans. If it doesn't intercede with your current work schedule – I am sure there are countless mysteries you have yet to unravel. Pay attention to the people around you and maybe take a lesson from your brother! ..Also, don't bother with the little girl. She's fine.

A shoe shaped house... That was refreshing. Carnation was liking it already, it even tempted the fairy to leave a shoe to go with it! But alas Catrina was getting a pumpkin cupcake at the top of a scratching post in the room (We all know there's on in there! O=<). Under it was a red envelope with Catrina Murrow written on top and a letter inside written in neat handwriting.

Someone’s old! Well not old… you’re just under my fiery awesome light! It was fun keeping an eye on you. Your enthusiasm rules~ Keep up the good work kid! Now I know you may not be a fan of water, but come by the hot springs anyways! I’d love it if you visit me. Please?

One down, two more to go! Carnation was off on her way!

"A shoe?" asked the girl, sounding vaguely disappointed at the discovery. "How a young lady can even stand such preposterous living conditions is beyond me. You must believe that she is quite fortunate to have you looking after her, hm?" Folding her arms across her chest, Nakita eyed the man standing beside her with mild suspicion. "Or am I to assume you have more.. depraved, intentions at heart Mr. Solomon?" All in all, she had been expecting something a bit more impressive then what she saw before her. The order Dimitri had placed for this 'Catrina' girl had been very specific and a little on the expensive side to say the least. Nakita couldn't help but wonder if she could snag more business on a regular basis, but Dimitri seemed to think such a thing was more a hassle then it was worth. To assess the situation for herself, she decided to tag along for the delivery. However, she was beginning to have her doubts.

Ignoring the acidic comments -as much as he could anyways- Dimitri knocked on the front door once more. Nakita seemed a little irritated today, but that was to be expected. She and her sister still had a lot to unpack, and he should know, having carried most of their boxes into their house... "Look, I already told you. This is to help stop her from drinking my own personal stock! So don't give me that look, alright?" Truth be told Catrina was probably the only person he kept in regular contact with here on Nirvani. Not for the reasons Nakita was insinuating, though. He was old enough to be the girl's father, for crying out loud! In one hand, he held a black plastic bag, which contained a special bottle of 'sleeping medicine' he had picked out for Catrina. "And like I said before, she thinks she's a cat. So play nice, will ya? Her claws aren't just for show, I can attest to that," he muttered, remembering all the various scratch marks he had received over the past couple years.

"Oh, you can, can you? I fear to imagine just what you mean by that," replied Nakita, enjoying ribbing Dimitri every chance she got. The exasperated reaction she received drew forth a brief melodious laugh from the girl. Holding a hand up, she smiled coyly. "But really, you speak as if you are dealing with a wild animal of sorts! Surely this fascination of being a feline is only a temporary fantasy to cure boredom?" Oh Nakita, if you only knew...

The moment Nakita and Dimitri had stepped on the front porch, an alarm inside Neil's room had started to beeb with a big red light flashing. Of course, what else could you expect from a conspiracy theorist like him? He just knew that one day, he would stumble upon something that he shouldn't have and people would come to get him, but that didn't mater. Not at all! After all, he was doing it all for the Truth! The public had the right to know everything and anything! Which was why last Tuesday headline was about the kind of underwear that Natala Piper liked to wear. Anything and everything, like he had just said! So of course, with all that noises and light flashing that was going on, it was no wonder that he had opened the door before the couple had even time to knock on it. He glared at the man, then at the woman, then back at the man. Who were they? He had never met them before... how could it be possible? Neil knew everyone on the island. So they were ought to be from off the island... or some sorte or Yeti-like creature living in the deep of the mountain that he had never seen before. Either way, they were new. "Mm?" Was the only noise comming out of his mouth, as he wondered just who those two were.

When the door suddenly opened, Dimitri was a bit surprised to see someone other then Catrina standing before him. The girl had always told him she lived with other people, but he had been starting to doubt those claims after not seeing them for the two years he had been living on Nirvani. But in all fairness, Dimitri liked to spend time in the wilderness. After looking over the other man, the Russian frowned at the greeting. "My, you just ooze an aura of 'trust me,' don't you?" he asked flatly. Something about this man rubbed Dimitri the wrong way. He wasn't intimidated, no, but something told him not to deal with him any more then was necessary...

Dimitri's wise crack in turn made Nakita roll her eyes. Still holding her posture with her arms folded over his chest, the girl glanced at the giant shoe's tenant expectantly. "We are looking for the girl called 'Catrina.' Is she available at the moment, sir?" she asked politely. After hearing what she assumed to be alarms of some sort blaring inside the giant shoe, she could only wonder about the sanity of its residents. Nirvani Island seemed to play host to quite a broad array of people, she had noticed lately.

Well, sure thign, there was an accent in the voice of those people, but Neil wasn'T quite sure what it was. Slav? Probably. Who were they? What where they doing there and how did they know about Catrina? This wasn't right... they were hidding something, he was sure of it! His eyes grew wider as his came to the realisation that he really did knew nothign about them! Oh, how long had it been since he had met perfect strangers? Too long! The occasion was perfect! Quicklly taking his notebook and his pencil from God knows where in thin air, He jumped out of the house in order to get closer to the two stranger in front of him. Flashing his flashiest smile, he opened his mouth...

"Ah! Good day! Good day! My name is Neil G. Murrow! Nice to meet you! Isn't it? Nice, I mean. It's always wonderful to meet new people, especially when you don't know them! Now, what did you say you two's names were? I didn't catch them, you have to forgive me, I tend to forget trivial matters like those. Are you two sibling? Brother and Sister? Or perhaps just brothers... or even just sisters! Do you have a p***s? And you, do you have a v****a? Or perhaps you are lovers... Crossdressing couples falls in love! The man-woman in love with a woman-man! Ah, quite the story you two have, don't you think? We could make a movie out of it! Fleeing to the small island where their secret shall be kept...FOR ETERNITY AS THEY COMMIT SUICIDE! Wonderful! Marvellous!

Now, now, please! Tell me why you are here? Did you come here to confess for all your crimes past, present and future? Are you two psychics? Crossdressing psychics? Oh my! Oh my! I don't think we've had any of those on the island! Ah! Ah! Ah! Ah! Oh? Catrina? How do you know Catrina? Did you kidnap her? Drug her? Raped Her? Killed her? Raped her again? Burried her? Digged her up? Cut her? Cooked her? Eat her? Where in your digestion system is she up too now? TELL ME EVERYTHIGN! Admit the Truth! YOU CANNOT ESCAPE THE TRUTH! THE PUBLIC AS THE RIGHT TO KNOW, YOU CANIBALISTIC SERIAL RAPIST KILLER CROSSDRESSING LOVERS!"

Ah, what else could one expect from Neil? Talking faster than his shadow as always, spurting everything that came out of his head and he wrote down everything in his note book, including the answers that the couple hadn't gave him yet. They didn't need to talk! He could tell eveything about them from just the way they were standing, the way they were looking at him, the way they were breathing! Mister BoJangle, his pet-mouse companion, hearing the tirade of his master-partner had came rushing from the kitchen to the front door and had climbed up Neil's body to rest on his head as he kept talking nonsense to the two standing in front of him.

-Carnation-

THE SHOE! Oh Carnation loved visiting this house! Who wouldn't? It was a shoe! She should leave shoes for the girl just for living here~ But alas she didn't go out much and didn't visit her, so no shoes for her. Simple math really~ The fairy couldn't help but wonder if they could put a shoelace slide or something... It wasn't like her to swing past to simple dreams but hello shoe! Oh but work must be done, if enjoying going through the inside of a shoe was work that is. Soon enough she was at the girl's room and like every other year she left a letter addressed to Catrina Murrow with a coffee cupcake on the top of her scratching post.

Dear Catrina~

Such an energetic kid! Er kitty! But she's holed up in her room way too much! Live a little! Go after a mouse! Investigate more! Hey even try to figure out if the mayor has exotic gerbils or something... Well I know it's shiny in there, there's gotta be something you can use there. I want to see you being good at school missy! For once? Please get out of 9th grade... they do say third time's the charm... But I want no excuses this year! Or else I'm burning the dang scratching post! Not the house... cause I kinda like it. And get over your fear of water and visit me! Or else I will bring the water to you! Wait that's not right...

From your fiery leader...

Once again, the fairy entered the large shoe-shaped home and, once again, she found that she had been beaten to the chase by none other than Carnation! She was awed by the sight, but she didn't linger on it anymore than she had with the last few homes she had been beaten to. Instead, she simple went by and ignored the fairy's still-noticeable presence and went to the table to leave her usual meal of delicious carrot soup for the redheaded man she adored so much. Not once had Neil ever disappointed her so she too made sure that the man wouldn't be disappointed by a lack of delicious carrot-y soup placed in a pretty, but sensible bowl for the man. Beside which was her usual letter, addressed to Neil Murrow in neat, cursive writing on the pale green envelope.

Hello again, Neil. You have done an exceptional job in the last year and I hope once again for success in the following year. However, it appears you have hit a stump in discovering the secrets of the island.. You needn't worry – I understand and accept this, especially considering how hard of a worker you have been since you first came to live here. It was a matter of time – but, you should not allow it to slow you down! There are still things to discover, to ask, to find! There is still truth out there, Neil, and I have my trust that you will find it! New people come and go every day, strange animals in the forests, and old 'truths' that should be reevaluated on their truthfulness! ..If you can't find anything new there, then I would recommend you find a second job. In fact, undercover investigation may reveal more than anything else – ah, I am short on time and advice for an exceptional one such as yourself. If you wish to know more or in need of an inquire on what I have said, I implore you come visit me. Your brother was the only one to do so in the last few years and it would please me to find another Murrow in my midst. Good bye.
