Abellio was racing along through the waves at the edge of the water, kicking up a bunch of water into the air, turned to bite at a tangle of kelp floating at the top of the water, tossed into into the air, smacked it with his tail, then raced forward to chase after it where it landed. The male was in a good mood, he'd found an apple tree not long ago and had eaten his fill of the sweet fruit. He knew it might be a bit odd for a normally carnivorous creature to have such a love of sweet fruits but they were one of his favorite foods.

As he rushed along after the kelp ball he gave a lunge forward to catch it in his jaws once more, throwing it up into the air... then paused when he realized that he wasn't alone. The green eyed dragon gave a grin, taking a step forward, and was about to call out to the cutie when the kelp fell down and landed on his head with a 'splat' sound. The dragon blinked a couple times before he set to work shaking his head to attempt to free the tangle of seaweed from where it was caught on his horns. He knew that he should be embarrassed by having such a thing happen to him in front of a female but he didn't really mind as much as that, so long as she didn't tease him for the mishap.

"Come on... let go kelp your embarrassing me." He muttered at it in the dragon tongue, shaking his head once more to attempt to free himself from it.

Abellio gave a little flutter of his copper and green wings before they closed against his back and he nodded his head rapidly, "If you wouldn't mind I would be quite grateful for any help you might offer me, my lady." He said in a friendly tone of voice, taking a step closer to the female with the interesting markings. As he got closer to her Abellio lowered his head down to her so that she would be able to free him of the sea plants, "I guess I shouldn't have taken my eye off the ball, eh?" He told her in a joking manner, as though to sound completely confident in himself despite his current situation.

The male's mood didn't seem to diminish any, as though even the clinging kelp wouldn't be able to cause him any sort of bother. Instead he was smiling away at the one who had offered him help, "My name is Abellio." He introduced himself to the female, tail swishing behind him.

Abellio remained as still as possible as the green female set to work freeing him from the tangle of kelp, "Well... in my own defense I spotted something far more interesting then kelp so of course I would forget all about it." He said in a flirty tone before he gave a rumbling sound of delight in his throat when the kelp was removed and dropped back to the ground where it belonged. He gave it a long stare, poking at it with his tail, then smiled when he didn't spot any of his hair left behind in it. Good, he would have been a bit sad if he had lost any of his pretty hair to the mass of sea plants.

His attention left the kelp so that he could turn his full attention back to the female as she gave him her name and his tail set to wagging behind him, delighted, "Zalias, what a lovely name." He chirped, giving her a grin before he sat down on the sand, "Have you been around this area long, pretty lady? I've been roaming here for a bit since there are a lot of apple trees to be found and I haven't stumbled across you before." Or at least he sure hoped he hadn't, he would be quite embarrassed if he had passed her by completely without even noticing. He could only hope that wasn't the case.

There was a chuckle from Abellio before he nodded in agreement, "I will be more careful." He said, watching the female as it would seem that he had embarrassed her a bit with his numerous compliments. He tilted his head to one side before he leaned in closer to looking over over since she seemed to be starring at the ground now instead of his way, "First time here? Its a rather nice place, there is a lot to be had here and its nice and quiet which is a bonus." There were areas where there were just far to many Humechen which just crowded a place. He didn't really have to much against them personally other then the fact that there always seemed to be far to many of them in the areas that they inhabited.

"I can show you around if you like, show you where I go for good food." He said, giving Zalias a toothy grin then seemed to think for a moment, "Well good food in my opinion, I would need to know what sorts of things you enjoy so that we can find those for you." He had no idea if she had similar taste in food as him or not.

Abellio's tail started to swish behind him in a happy manner before he turned and motioned toward the water with his forefoot, "In the ocean there are plenty of various animals to eat, but if you want to cheat we can hit the tide pools. Plenty of animals are trapped there so we can easily snag things out of there. Its like eating out of a big bowl." He said with a smile, taking a couple steps forward, glanced toward Zalias to make sure she was following before continueing along.

"There are plenty of fruits to be had in the area as well, my favorites are the apples. I just raided some of the trees earlier to get some of fresh and newly ripened ones before anyone else could find them." He had eaten quite a few but he could still go for some more to eat, ever the bottomless pit when it came to good food, "There are other animals roaming around as well, land animals as well as birds if you like the taste of them. Those take a bit more in the way of sneaky hunting." Which was fairly skilled at, more the stalking and pouncing sort then the chasing kind. If he were able to pounce out of the shadows onto prey he had a good chance of taking it down, when it came to chasing it though he ended up getting distracted fast, especially if there were numerous targets to chase.

He was careful to match his pace to that of the female Dreichda so that they were walking side by side, "Is there something specific you would like to eat? Or whatever we find first?" His tail was swishing behind him excitedly, this was his first go at getting to taking a female out for a meal and he wanted to do well to make up for the way that they had first met. To show her he was a competent hunter even if he hadn't done to well with the game he'd been playing earlier.

Abellio's wings gave a flap as she thanked him and declared that it was very nice of him and he couldn't help but to show his delight at her words, "Its not a problem, I like to help out my fellow Dreichda where I am able." It just so happened that he liked to help out girls even more, not that he had as many opportunities to do so until this point.

"The tide pools it is." He said, leading to where those were located, "It makes it pretty easy to catch all manner of tasty ocean dwellers when they get trapped here, its something that only works when the tide is out though since that is when the pools trap things. When the tide is in its best to leave the area alone so that more creatures will swim about in the area to get trapped for later." He cautioned her, so that she would know not to check the pools to early since it risked scaring off all of the fish, something he knew from experience.

Upon spotting one of the pools the green haired male quickened his pace just a little, getting to the edge of the pool before looking into it, "This one seems to have an interesting variety of food in it." He told her, looking over his shoulder at her and smiled. That there was a good amount of food in here was lucky! Anyone could have come to drain the pools dry of their resources before Zalias and Abellio arrived but it would seem that good luck was on their side this time around.
