*~Haruka Tsumara~* Haruka Tsumara walked into the Gentleman's Club to begin her first week of being a special server. She was hired a month ago by the manager, but today her skills were going to be focused around mixing drinks and making the customers smile. She tied her apron around herself and stood at the counter waiting for some customers to come into the club. Her uniform was a black and red stripped polo shirt buttoned only enough to hide her bra and a black mistress skirt accented with black nylons. "My first day tending to the place as head server. Since I'm the first one to show up to work, I guess I'll start making the cookies!" She took out the mix in the cupboard and started preparing the dough while listening for any sign of a customer.

If you don't believe in anything, it no longer has the power to hurtNick sighed as he opened the door and dragged himself into the Gentleman's club. He'd just broken up with his boyfriend and was severely pissed off.He took a seat at the bar and eyed the woman behind the counter. Not bad looking, though he wasn't too into the crazy hair color, but it seemed to work with her. It went well with her unusual eyes. He looked the woman up and down, taking note of her uniform. Not bad. He'd seen worse. But not bad. "Ayo barkeep!" he hollered, sitting a little straighter in his seat, staring at the back of the woman's head. "21 year old Whiskey. No ice." He pulled out his wallet from his back pocket in case he needed to show ID. Nearly twenty-four years old and people still accused him of looking no older than sixteen. Sure it was nice that people thought he was young, but at times like this it was nothing but a pain in his left side. He was an occasional drinker and chain smoker. He'd come in the joint plenty of times in the past, but this was by far, the deadest he'd seen it in ages. Usually he'd see a couple of drunk or people angry at their bosses and taking an early lunch when he came in. But not today. Today, besides the chick with the weird hair and eyes, it was just him. He'd never seen her before and didn't feel obligated to ask her if it was her first day. The way she was frantically looking around for stuff told him it was. Or at the very least still very new. It had been at least a month since he last came here. He was something of a regular.

*~Haruka Tsumara~* Haruka heard him come in and turned on her heels hearing his order. Clearly spotting the ID he had on the counter, she figured it wasn't a problem to serve him. Her co-workers would be arriving within the hour and she would be more free to chat. She began pouring his whiskey and stirring it in the shot glass while looking him over from the counter-top up. He was a tall thin man with really nice blond hair and a good shirt to pull it all together. She smiled politely and handed him the glass. "Welcome to the Gentleman's Club. My name is Haruka and I'll be your head server until my other co-workers show up. It's actually the first time I've been opening the place on my own. I've only been working here a month. Can I get you anything else...?" She blinked her large amber eyes and was wondering if he would give her his name as she had given hers. Considering the fact that it was just them so far occupying the joint, she would fee better talking to someone on a first-name basis. As long as I can hold down the place for an hour, maybe they'll let me open it more often. It's kind of nice being the only one here. She took out some trays and put the dough she had mixed on them, sticking the promptly into the oven. Once she had finished, she wiped off the counter and poured herself a small glass of tequila and cranberry juice topped with a pair of cherries pierced with a toothpick. She leaned over the counter and sighed softly after taking a sip. "You look a little upset. Are you alright?"

"If you don't believe in anything, it no longer has the power to hurt" He rolled his eyes as the woman gave her whole little introduction speak. It was the same song and dance at every restaurant or bar, why state the obvious? They both knew she was the server, he obviously knew the name of the place, and really didn't give a rats a** how long she'd been working there. Though for how long she'd told him it was no wonder he had no clue who she was. For the last month he'd been dodging this place to avoid his now ex-boyfriend. That psycho just didn't get that he didn't wanna be with him and had started stalking all his favorite hangouts. Thanks to that little stunts he'd missed out on a lot. Finally though it seemed the jerk wad was getting the memo. "Nicola" he replied briefly. He took a sip of the whiskey, finding pleasure in the warm sting as it went down his throat. "Nothing else. This is fine."
Nicholas continued sipping on his whiskey, muttering to himself now and again. He was glared down at the bar, wallowing in his own hate. Out of the corner of his eye he watched the woman move behind the counter. Finding it a bit humorous to see her pour her own drink. He wasn't aware that workers could drink while on the clock. "It's nothing." he spat, at her question. Regretting his attitude a moment later. "It's nothing," he said in a calmer tone. "Just a bad break-up. So no, I'm not alright. And before you even try to ask, no, I don't want to talk about it. As far as I'm concerned that idiot can go roast in hell. Friggin jerk. Can't stand him." He picked up his drink and topped it off, slamming it down on the counter. "Another drink...please." He pushed his drink forward and pulled out his pack of cigarettes. He didn't care that three feet away there was a sign clearly stating that there was no smoking. He smoked plenty of times and the owner had yet to say a thing to him. It would make him a hypocrite since he smoked in there as well. He shock the pack a few times before pulling one out and slipping it between his lips. He took a deep drag, letting the smoke fill and burn his lungs, before sighing a few minutes later and blowing it all up towards the ceiling.

*~Haruka Tsumara~* Haruka nodded to him and smiled a bit finally hearing his name. Nicolas. Quite an interesting name. She began pouring another drink for him before noticing that we was beginning to smoke. She looked and noticed that he obviously knew it was against policy, but then again, as long as he wasn't going to be rude, she could let it slip this once. "So, Nicolas, I'm sorry to ask, but if there is anything I can get for you to help your cheer up, I'd be happy to do so. Serving drinks wasn't really my specialty here, even though I've never had a mistake yet. I really enjoy entertaining people with my talent." She took another sip of her tequila and sat it beside his drink. Walking around to his side of the bar, she smiled politely and handed him a new box of the brand he was carrying, noting that this box she had was clearly marked more delectable to inhale and slightly longer. Maybe he would warm up a little if she showed some kindness. "Do you have a favorite animal?" She just thought how out of the ordinary that must have sounded. Then again, her appearance wasn't that normal either. "It's actually a valid question for me to have an answer to before I perform."

"If you don't believe in anything, it no longer has the power to hurt" "It's Nicola." he corrected. He didn't like when people mispronounced his name. Maybe it was his accent? Nah, that couldn't be it. But then again his first language was Italian, so even though he was quite fluent in English and other languages, his accent did make things a little rough. "I only go by Nicholas while at work, around elders, or at home." He took another drag on his cigarette, nodding his head in gratitude as she refilled his drink. "As I said, just the drink." He watched her set down her own drink, thankful that she wasn't trying to get him to put out his cigarette. In his mind, it made them even. She let him smoke, he didn't tell her super that she was drinking while on the job. She came around the bar, taking a seat beside him. He blew his smoke to the ceiling once more, shaking his head as she offered him a box of smokes. He didn't need it. Even though the pack he'd been carrying with him was running low, he had at least twenty more back at home. Nick cocked a brow at her question. What in God's name did that have to do with anything? "Wolves....why?" he asked, picking up his glass and taking a swig. He flicked his cigarette against the ash tray, and continued to stare at Haruka curiously. Just what did she have up her sleeve? He wondered was she planning on wooing him even after he told he'd just broken up with his boyfriend?

*~Haruka Tsumara~* Haruka smiled a bit and looked up at the lights. "Well, I happen to be rather talented at, adapting to situations. Maybe this might interest you." She closed her eyes and inhaled letting out a soft wolf-like howl as her body changed form. Her legs and arms shortened and turned white with fur, soon followed by her torso. Last was her face. Her ears shrunk into her skull and popped out on top of her head, her longer light purple hair turning white and shorter. Soon her nose became black and more like a snout. When she opened her eyes, she was a full-fledged white wolf with amber yellow eyes. Haruka smirked and sat at his feet looking for some kind of reaction. He was the first guy she had transformed for, mostly the others were friends of her mother. She hoped he liked it and might be a little more friendly. What kind of host would she be if she didn't entertain him? It was her job to perform for the guests, even if her definition of perform was different from the normal residents.

"If you don't believe in anything, it no longer has the power to hurt" Nicola set down his drink and watched the girl carefully. It was quite a sight to watch her transform, but on the contrary he wasn't all that impressed. But he had to admit she did make a lovely wolf, except for the eyes. He'd yet to see any wolf with that color eyes before. It was her only flaw. He cocked a brow as the wolf-girl popped a squat at his feet. "Okay, now what? You want a tip?" he asked sarcastically. He finished off his drink and put out his half lit cigarette. "It's an interesting trick, but I see flaws." Nicola stood from his seat and put his pack of cigarettes away, pulling out a few bills from his wallet as well before stuffing that into his back pocket. He moved away from the bar and went to sit on one of the many couches scattered throughout the place, he wasn't trying to be rude, he just needed a place to crash til he cooled off from the incident with his ex. He took a seat, sat back and stretched out his legs and crossed them as he sat them down on the coffee table in front of him. "You can skip the whole entertainment act, and trying to cheer me up. Because lady, I really just don't care right now. Even if you dance around, flash your tits and sing me a ballad I still won't care. I'm pissed off and I'm really not in the mood to socialize. So just bring me the bottle of whatever whiskey you got and I'll give you a nice tip, how's that sound?" he said, turning his head towards the wolf.

*~Haruka Tsumara~* Haruka sighed and then she had an idea. He may not have wanted to socialize, but she was a little lonely in this place. Maybe she could get him to talk more. She stood on her hind legs and transformed back into a human shape, but not her own. In her determination to get his attention, she transformed into a clone of Nicola. She looked herself over, picking up a glass she even noticed the eyes were the right shade this time. Strolling over with another drink for him, she opened her mouth and spoke his tone back to him. "I'm not one to normally ask for tips, but maybe I'd like to get to know you a little later. You're quite an interesting person, Nicola." She smirked and took a cigarette out of the pack she offered him, bummed his lighter and lit one up puffing it. Blowing her smoke at the ceiling, she checked the clock on the wall. Her co-workers weren't due for another half-hour. She could have some fun before then. She plopped herself down on the couch across from him in nearly a mirror-like image. In a small way, this was her way to have fun on the job.

"If you don't believe in anything, it no longer has the power to hurt" He narrowed his eyes as she transformed into him. He smirked as he still saw flaws. For one she was too short, another the hair was too blond and his glasses were a bit thicker than hers. He pushed his glasses up to sit on top of his head and rubbed his eyes. He growled as she bummed his lighter, cocky little thing wasn't she. Nicola shock his head as she tried to imitate his smoking habits. She was doing it all wrong. And her posture. Ugh. "If you're going to mimic me, at least do it right." he ordered. He got up and went to stand behind her. "Slouch down more, relax. You want the world to know they can all eat s**t and die. And honey, seriously, who taught you to smoke?" he bent over the back of the couch and readjusted her hand, told her how long she should actually take a drag and hold it before letting it go. When he was satisfied, he plucked the cigarette from her hand and took a drag for himself before handing it back. He walked back around and sat across from her, picking up his drink and finishing it in one swig. "And just what makes you think I'm an interesting person? You know nothing of me, for all you know this is an act and I could be your future murderer." He said, setting the empty glass back down on the table.

*~Haruka Tsumara~* Haruka laughed slightly at how annoyed he seemed to be with her impersonation of him. She walked over and took the seat beside him on the couch, refilling his drink on her way over to also grab her own. "Call it a hunch, but you don't seem like a murderer to me. I've escaped death before. That's when I first realized my gift. Maybe you're different from the others who normally come in here and I find that appealing. You don't seem too keen on getting to know others and I can't say I blame you." She took another drag of the cigarette and blew the smoke toward the window. He was really interesting to her, but he was also handsome. She had a thing for blonds, both male and female, and she really didn't know why. Maybe it was the way he had corrected her and made her giggle? Maybe it was him smoking a cigarette in a sexy manner? Whatever the case was, she wanted to have some idea if he might see her outside the club, even if only to take a stroll and talk for a while. She hadn't had many friends around here. She had just settled down here about two months ago and left the rest of her family of gypsies to their traveling. It got lonely day after day with no real friends to talk to outside the club. She turned to him again. "So, do you have any talents, Nicola?" She turned her form back into her own, letting her hair return to it's natural straight purple glory falling 3/4 of the way down her slender back. Her pale skin blushed a slight shade of pink as she took another drink of her tequila. She never got drunk on the job, but rather liked to relax when it was a casual setting.

"If you don't believe in anything, it no longer has the power to hurt" Nicola ignored his refilled drink. He didn't want anymore, nor did he need anymore. He could already feel a small buzz, which was no real surprise seeing as the way he was tossing the drinks back like there was no tomorrow. Of course he wasn't a murderer, to people anyways. He'd killed plenty of bugs, animals, and plants in his life time. But no he was no true killer. Though several times in the last month he'd come very close. "You shouldn't trust a hunch. It can get you into some serious trouble. If you ever see me trusting my gut, shoot me. Cause nine times out of ten it's gonna end bad. Save me the trouble and shoot me." he replied. He reached over and took her cigarette once more, taking a small puff before handing it back to her. He completely ignored her question about his talents, blowing his smoke to the ceiling again, "How old are you?" he asked. He knew she had to have been at least twenty-one if she was working her, but her looks were throwing him for a loop. She definitely didn't look her age. He figured she had to of just turned legal. Maybe that was why she was just then starting work there. He watched as she changed back to her original form, sighing with relief. It was getting a bit weird to be hit on by himself. Even stranger to be hit on by a wolf. Hopefully that would be the end of her little transforming act. It needed work and he had no problem criticizing her. He smirked as he saw the faint pink blush. She was getting tipsy. Guess that meant it would soon be his que to leave. There wasn't enough money in the world to get him to stay in a place alone with a hot girl who was wasted and he was pissed enough to take advantage. No. He didn't need to go to jail tonight. He took the drink from her hand and set it on the table. "No more for you." he said in a serious tone.

*~Haruka Tsumara~* Haruka frowned slightly and looked at him with a small hint of pink on your face. "I'm legal to drink. I just got my ID updated a month ago so I could work here behind the counter. I'm freshly 21 if you must know." She smirked at him and finished the cigarette before putting it out on the bottom of her heeled boot. He seemed really handsome when he took the drag off her cigarette, she had to admit. He was unusually striking with his features. Haruka stood up and took his drink over to the counter, placing it to the side to wash out later. "So, any interest in some local girls? I could name one cute one, but she's still underage. Her mother lives in the Modern City but she comes here to see her father on a regular basis. And by the way, there's no chance of me getting drunk here. I'm only slightly tipsy right now." She spun around and took a seat next to him, eying her glass. "Well there's no sense in wasting good liquor. Either I'm drinking it or you are. Although, I would like to see you around sometime and hang out." She smiled wider while taking his lighter and dangling it in front of his face. Quickly before he could gab it, she dropped it down her polo and smirked. "You'll have to get your lighter back somehow. I might be willing to hand it over in exchange for another rondez-vous." She looked at him with a sly expression and crossed her legs looking over her shoulder at him.

"If you don't believe in anything, it no longer has the power to hurt" Nicola rolled his eyes. He didn't care that she was of legal age, in his eyes she was a light weight. She was only a couple years younger than him, not too bad. He had to admit, she was pretty hot. He shook his head when she asked him about liking anyone. "Nope. Only person I had any interest in, I broke up with....gotta love how crazy some people can become once you tell them it's over." He saw her eying the the glass. Knowing she wanted it. He leaned forward and picked it up, "We'll split it." He tipped his head back and took half of it before passing the rest on to Haruka. That's when he noticed she still had his lighter. He reached forward to try and grab it but was too late. She stuffed the damn thing down her shirt. He shock his head with an evil smirk. "You're gonna regret that." he said. Nick pounced and pinned her to the couch. With one hand, he had both her hands above her head and was straddling her waist, pushing enough of his weight down to keep her still enough that the tables could turn. With his free hand, he reached up her shirt and grabbed the lighter. He leaned down and gave her a feather light kiss on the lips. A kiss not even worth mentioning and pulled back with his lighter in hand grinning like a ceshire. "Sorry babe. It's an antique and I'm not willing to give it up so easily." he said, holding the thing tightly in his hand. He settled back on the couch, now facing her, grinning and licking his lips. It could barely be counted as a kiss and yet his heart was racing as if he'd received a kiss from Tyra Banks while she was half naked.

*~Haruka Tsumara~* Haruka blushed a bright shade of scarlet as he retrieved his lighter from under her shirt and brushed his lips against hers. Could that even count as a kiss? No, it probably didn't to him. Why was her heart beating so fast then? She shook her head and took the glass, downing her share in a quick swallow. Nicola was charming, she had to admit that much. Haruka cleared her throat and decided it was time to get even with him for turning the tables as he did. She pounced on his lap straddling his lap and took his glasses from on top of his head, placing them on her own. "Apparently you have no problem violating personal space. Good to know." She then held the glasses above her head, knowing the length of his arms would not quite reach them. Laughing softly she whispered with a soft purr in her voice. "I do like the taste of whiskey on a man's breath. How'd you like the tequila-mix while brushing against mine? Better question would be, care for another?" Her grin turned as big as his with the last part. She was actually having fun. He was the first one in the village to experience her full flirting potential. She was only scheduled to work for two hours today anyway. Fridays were lovely when you just needed a little cash to go out and enjoy yourself. Best of all, today was payday. Perhaps she might spend it on something they could do together. If nothing else, he would make a great friend to goof around with. She leaned in slightly, pressing her chest just under his chin and looking down into his eyes, still with a hint of scarlet across her cheeks.
