"Why do we not have one of these yet!?" keeps repeating in my head, and I haven't even started in the RP, oi...
This topic is created so that people can share their thoughts about what all's happening in the Role Play, since we aren't allowed to do that in our In-Character posts. Talk about the scenery, the festivities, the way things are unfolding! Whatever you want to discuss that is RP-related, or even if you want to just explain something, feel free to go ahead and do so!

Aheh! I figured it couldn't hurt... sweatdrop Working on my character's profile, I've found I'm littering it with links to TV Tropes & Idioms. However, all of these links fit pretty dang well. Taking a look through the site, I imagine any one of us could find at least two or three tropes that fits their character. Just a few for my character in particular are going to be: I Am Not Left HandedMartial PacifistMinored In a** Kickingand Reluctant WarriorIf you've never heard of TV Tropes before, I don't blame you, but I do have to warn you: It is time-consuming, reading stuff on there, but it's fun... of course, that's as long as you don't mind TV Tropes Ruining Your Life.

Speaking of tropes I have to admit that Fay falls into a couple as well, most obviously: Kuudere. Blessed With Suck. The Grim Reaper. And Tranquil Fury. If you're wondering about the Grim Reaper one even though she's human well her abilities DO allow her to kill even intangible creatures such as ghosts and things that are technically already dead so I thought it suited.

Heheh, I think everybody falls into a Trope.
I gotta ask, guys, as someone who hasn't joined in the Pasaid Player Bandwagon yet--is there anywhere that another RPer might be needed? Is anyone waiting for a second player, or might need an extra? I'm trying to find the most useful place to start.

Haha, cool, Toki! I've no idea when I'll add another character for me to control. I plan on doing so eventually, but I've no idea when. Also, Abriene Castle Town has passed 100 posts! Yippee! Anybody else think we should have a sticky topic for milestones in the guild and when they happened? I don't think it'd be a bad idea, but that's just my personal opinion. Who else is joined up on the InvisionFree side of Pasaid, by the way? Just curious. EDIT:ALSO, also, I forgot to ask--anybody have any idea what's happened to a bunch of our other members? How many of us are actually active in the RP? Should we send PMs to those that haven't been around and remind them about here?

i think it's because (please don't take it the wrong way ppl) that the post MUST be five lines long, and all the grammar and stuff must be perfect. i mean we area literate guild, but we can't be fancy writers all the time right? why isn't there an rp in this guild for people to just goof off?

@NiGHTMAREN KUNOiCHi - I know, I did a little happy dance in my chair when I saw Abriene Castle Town passed the 100 post mark.
And I like the idea of creating milestones! I've chalked that up on my things to do today list ahaha.
And yeah guys, I put a lot of work into InvisionFree Pasaid(;
I was wondering that too earlier, what did happen to our members? I've sent out a couple announcements before about it but it doesn't do much good. How about I send out an announcement, and if after three or four days the activity doesn't come back up, I'll send PMs to those who aren't active? Yes no maybe so? What do you think?
@TokiRyuu - A lot of roleplays are like that, TokiRyuu. I'm in some roleplays where the limit is two full paragraphs. Other RPs sometimes require at least 15 lines. Five lines isn't much compared to others.
And being a literate guild means good grammar and punctuation. I understand small mistakes, but c'mon guys, we weren't taught this in school for nothing.
And an RP to goof off... Hm. Maybe one could be posted in the OOC forum that isn't directly related to Pasaid?

Honestly I like the somewhat long posts because it gives it a little umph.
Everything needs a little umph.
And plus I'd rather see..
His arms wrapped around that ever so gentle body of hers. It felt like if he held her too tightly it would crush her frail form. The embrace lasted for but a few seconds before they looked into each other's dark green eyes. If they were brother and sister then they would have to get through the fights they were going to have in the future. They were sure they could do it for their family.

They hugged because they were family and made up.

I'd also rather like to see long posts because sometimes your character is stuck not doing anything so it's good to get in as much writing as possible when they ARE interacting.
I don't want to read a dozen one-liners and then have to wait two weeks for the next day to begin. I might as well not be here if that's what's going to happen. neutral

Yeah, I like to see people putting their writing skills to use and trying to give us interesting bits when we ourselves aren't RPing much. We're all writing a piece of a story here, after all, and I just hope I'm doing my part! whee
But speaking of it taking a long time for the next day to start, I'm real sorry for holding things up with my character starting into a game and everything, guys. I didn't want to abruptly cut it off, that would seem out-of-character for Chibuike, and I got caught up in RPing so I didn't notice until it was too late. But I'm trying to close it up so we can get on to the next day. Sorry if I've inconvenienced or aggravated anybody with this, I'll try not to do it again... sweatdrop
EDIT:
ALSO, I think that's a good idea, Abhann, about our less active members. I hope we can get them back into things soon!
