Quote: 38. Moteki [モテキ]: Mitsurō Kubo's Moteki manga tells the story of a previously unlucky-in-love male temp worker who suddenly finds himself in a moteki (a period of time in which one is found attractive to the opposite sex). The meaningis just so cool!

Quote: 54. I've got it [motteru - もってる]: In an interview after scoring the winning goal against Cameroon at the World Cup on June 14, soccer player Keisuke Honda expressed confidence in his mojo, saying, "I've got it." Here's one I know~~ I plucked a paint brush out of my friend's hand―fooling around―, and I leaned back too far in my stool and fell over saying this... ( ̄∀ ̄) - - - Thanks for posting this website Rin-chan!! I think I'll be reading this twice~~ A lot of it, I actually hear people using a lot! That's what I love about this list!!

The meaningis just so cool! Yeah, the meaning is pretty cool. The manga sounds pretty funny as well. A_n_n_a Quote: 54. LOL, that is pretty useful...I remember watching Japanese TV after the World Cup match which Japan won...watching the news was just crazy. The news shows where doing stuff like showing off large scale models of the soccer field (and showing where Honda was when he scored, etc)...The models almost looked like they where made out of legos... I love this list because every year when it comes out, I learn something new (as well as seeing some fad words I recognize). I think my favorite is probably #32 moshi-dora because I'm thinking about reading the book. XD Links to the past Top 60 word lists: 200920082007

FIFA.... upsets me. I CAN'T BELIEVE JAPAN LOST TO THAT TEAM! (*Implying that she forgot this other team...*) THEY COULD OF EASILY BEAT THOSE GUYS TOOO!!! And to think Ireland wouldn't even make the tournament because of FRANCE! Not only that, but Japan played HARD. You could see how fast these guys were going in comparison to some of the other teams... * This is why she rarely watches soccer. One stupid mistake she thinks she could have avoided, and there'll be one less tele in the house. >_< * Soccer......... makes me crazy. Watching makes me wish I never gave it up.
....... *frantic breathing going down* Ooh! Thanks for the older lists!!! I think I'm going to post some of these on my blog~~ (^O^)

Yeah, I'm happy Japan even got as far as it did though. ( I don't take the World Cup/Olympics too seriously, and those are the only sports events I watch for the most part, unless you count presidential debates XD).
Glad you liked the lists!^-^

I'm amused that Kpop is on the list. Quote: 25. Doya face [doya-gao - どや顔]: A smug look of triumph that says: "How about that!" (Doya!)

Sorry for the confusion. sweatdrop

Yeah, I tried to get into Kpop, but most of the groups I've heard so far are either too cute for me, or feature too much rap. xp I did like Boa's "Explode" and Taru's "Yesterday", but that's it...
