Once upon a time, in a not so far away land, there as a family of the very wealthy. A mother, a father, and a little son. All were spoiled. All were nasty. And all looked down and hurt others purposely.

One day the father fired an employee. The man was low class and wore second hand clothes. He wasn't much to look at either. The father and his family were beautiful and only wanted the best of the best in the company. Even though the man was the best assistant he had ever had he fired him for one reason and one reason only. "Your're too ugly to work in my company. Leave," he had said. The employee almost cried as he lost his job, but he was too proud to beg the selfish CEO for his job. So he left.

The employee had a family and that night he broke it to them that he had lost his job. They weren't sure how they were going to afford their small home now since even though he had had a very good job, he wasn't paid enough. His three of his four children put on brave faces and said they understood. Then they went to help make dinner. The oldest child, a son, said he understood as well and left for his room.

The oldest son was a wizard. Angry over what the wealthy man had done to his father he asked his magic hand mirror to show him the wealthy man. The wealthy family was eating dinner at least the son was. The mother and father were texting and talking on cell phones as they ate. Then they wandered away leaving the small boy to eat alone. The wealthy boy was used to this and finished his meal. Then he left the table as well and went to play video games.

The wizard set his mirror aside and pulled on his cloak. Then he vanished. He reappeared in the wealthy father's study first. He turned the man into a bear like beast with fur covering his body and great fangs in his now lipless mouth. His hands grew claws and became paw like as did his feet. The wizard gave the father a small white rose bush with three small rose buds on it. "One bud will bloom each year. You have three years to right the wrongs you have done and become kind hearted. The bush will grow more buds when you have succeeded. If you don't you will remain this way for the rest of your life," he had said. Then he gave the man a silver mirror like the one he had. The wealthy man looked into it and screamed. The sound came out as a roar. He looked up at the wizard and yelled at him to turn him back, but the wizard had disappeared.

The boy wizard next went to the greedy and selfish wife. She jumped in surprise with the boy suddenly appeared in her room. She and her husband didn't sleep together. She was also a cheater. She had the room sound proofed so that she could bring 'friends' home and 'play' with out her husband or son hearing. He transformed her into a wolf like creature with yellow grey skin, bat wings, and mud brown eyes. Her mouth was full of fangs as well and she had patches of grey fur every where. He presented her with a small white rose bush as well. The bush had three buds on it just like her husband'. "One bud will bloom each year. You have three years to right the wrongs you have done and become a loyal, loving, and true wife. The bush will grow more buds if you succeed. If you do not this form will be yours for the rest of your life," he had said. Then he gave her a silver mirror like he had with her husband and left while she was looking into it with horror. She howled in rage before breaking down crying.

The young wizard next went to the wealthy son's room. The boy looked at him with fear in his eyes since the wizard had appeared in his room out of no where. He wondered where his parents were. He needed them now! The wizard turned the boy into a serpent like beast with white wings coming out of his back. The scales were green and covered him from head to foot. HIs hair turned white and his eyes turned gold with slit pupils. He found he could no longer close his eyes, they had no lids. A thin memberane flicked over his eyes to keep them moist. He had a white lion's tail and his fingers and toes were clawed. He no longer had a nose, instead he had two slits where it used to be. Snake fangs replaced his top canines. His tongue was forked like a snake's as well and he had whiskers like a cat. His eye brows were white as well. The wizard then placed a black rose thorn into his chest over his heart. "Only someone you truely trust can remove that thorn," he said. He gave the boy a small white rose bush with thirteen buds on it. "Since you are so young I will give you thirteen years to find someone who will love you despite your uglyness. Only a kiss from your true love can break the spell and return you to your former good looks. If you can't find some one in thirteen years the change will become permament and you will be a beast forever," he said. He handed the boy a magic mirror like the wizard's own. "Tell the mirror the name of anyone you wish to see and it will show them," he said. Then he disappeared as the boy looked into the mirror and saw his reflection. He started to cry and almost through the mirror at the wall. "Turn me back!!" he yelled at the space the wizard had been in.

The boy's parents commited suiside after a week of being beasts. The boy they left behind was named Kuro. Kuro didn't kill himself. Though he had seen his parents when they died. One shot themself in the head the other poisoned themself. This was done in front of Kuro and needless to say he was tramatized by it. He was six at the time.

In the ten years that have passed since then the boy wizard has come to live with him along with a crippled gardener. The boy wizard is now an adult and is 27 years old. The gardener is 30 years old. Kuro is 16 years old. Kuro had three years left to find true love and someone he trusts. He is both desprate, but believes he will be a beast forever. He has changed a little. Before he couldn't find beauty in roses and didn't get along with his gardener and the wizard. Now he does. If he could just get someone to love him and learn to love them back he'd be set.

You'll play Beauty. He can be seme, seke, or uke, I don't really mind.

RULES OF THE CURSE

*This takes place in Tokyo, Japan. Kuro lives out of town in a large mansion in the country side. He runs his late father's business from home. This is a twist on the classic Beauty and the Beast story. If you don't know it familiarlize yourself with it if you want to RP with me. I do not want this to be exactly like the story, but certain parts must happen. We can make this story truely entertaining however if we add our own ideas in. I welcome that. This story will not end like in the story. I am intrested in after the 'happily ever after'.

*Keep it interesting. Surprise plot twists and side characters are very welcome.

*No instant romance please. In the many versions of this story there is no instant love so I don't want it here. I don't want Beauty being instantly attracted to the Beast either. He looks like a monster. You don't feel attracted to monsters.

*No goddmodding and nothing over PG-13.

*Proper grammer and spelling. I don't mind some mistakes, but if I like sentences to make sense.

*Semi literate to literate posts.

*I reserve the right to add more rules. Please have fun. If you have any questions, pm me.

"Give me back my book Sanosuke!" the yell came from a blonde 5'4'' sixteen-year old boy with olive green eyes. He was wearing a blue long sleeved shirt with a white button down one with no sleeves on top; though the button down on was not button and showed off the spiral design of the blue one. The boy had a glare on his young face and from the looks of the situation, he was upset about something. Behind him, cluthing to his leg tightly was his little brother: Arashi. The five year old looked exactly like his older brother except he had a lighter shade of blonde and his eyes were more green than olive, The little boy had a look of distress and now you will see why. His older brother was being teased by a red-headed bully named Sanosuke. All the brothers were doing was reading a book Takashi had gotten from old man Jenken's collection. In order to get some peace and quiet, they came into the forest that was by a nice abandoned house. People say its haunted since it was well-kept and some say they hear noises but Takashi just took it as a rumor. The teenager was hoping for a nice relaxing day reading to Arashi. Instead, he was with a bully from his school that now was holding his book captive.

"I mean it! Give me my book!" Takashi made a lunge for it but Sanosuke got out of the way at the last minute. Arashi began baging his tiny fists against the redhead's leg and Sanosuke could only laugh. "So this is your source of protection bookworm? Lame~" He hated when the other called him bookdworm. So he hread alot. That was no reason to call him names. "Don't call me that! And leave Arashi alone! We were fine until you came." His hands balled into fist and Takashi had the sudden urge to hit the male right on the jaw. "Just give me the book and go terrorize someone else." Sanosuke put on a fake hurtful look before snickering again. "That hit me right in the heart. But alright. Since you asked so nicely. I'll give it to you." Takashi beamed as the reached out to get the book from the other before Sanosuke turned baruptly to the direction of the house. "You want it? Go fetch for it!" And with that, he threw the book to where the house's yard was. A shatter could be heard and Sanosuke laughed his butt off before leavign the siblings to their problem. "What do we do Takashi?" Arashi asked as he looked up at his brother with teary eyes. He gave the little boy a light ruffle of the hair before looking back at the house. That shatter had to be glass...Takashi prayed it didn't go through a window or something.

"Arashi listen up okay?Stay right here by this house till I get back. If it starts to get dark, and I'm not back. Go back to mom and dad and tell them I went to get a book and will be home soon okay?" The little brother gave a nod then Takshi smiled before hugging him. Now it was time to do operation: Claim book back.

The blonde ran tot he back fence and began scalign the wooden pegs. When he was over, he looked aroudn and blinked at all the greenhouses...And they looked new and fresh! No vines were litterign out and the yard was kept nicely...like someone was living here. 'Are they sure this place is abandon...?' He asked himself in his head before looking around for his book. When he stepped in some glass, he looked upa nd noticed a jagged hole in the greenhouse he was standing next to. 'Sanosuke...your going to get it one of these days...!' Takashi thought before he entered the greenhouse and continued to look aroudn for his book.

The poor roses! Takashi frowned at the sigh presented to him. Not only did the book shattered the glass and cause a humongous hole in the glass roof, but it also tattered the flowers to the point of no return. They will now never see the breath of the morning sun again and wilt within a few hours. Stupid Sanosuke....Takashi was so going to yell at him later! But for now, he could only admire the remaining mass of rose population. Someone had to live here! There was no way that all these different sizes and breeds of flowers could flourish on their own. Just no way...But why was the person keeping his appearance a secret? And why did people believe that this place was haunted and warned others to never go here? All of it was so strange...

But for now, The blonde had to help clean up. Maybe if he did that, the person of this house may be more reasonable and not nurst out his anger all on the blonde. With a soft sigh, the teen picked up a cracked pot with yellow roses in it and arranged them as best as he could; careful not to p***k himself on the thorns. He ddin’t want to add another bad thing to his already horrendous day...

"Ow!" What the heck?! All Takashi was doing was trying to clean up for the owner, then out of nowehere, something was chugged at his head! And it hurt! ALOT! Who in the world thre- Wait..Isn't that his book? As the blonde was rubbing the throbbing spot in the back of his skull, Takashi picked up his book but dropped it when he heard a really angry voice. The tone itself made him jump at least ten feet up. He turned and turned, but saw no one. "Hello...? Who's there...?" The book lover asked he slowly bent down to pick up his book again. Takashi was scared. He wanted to heed the voice's advise, but he had to tell his side of the story.

"Please, let me explain! I wasn't the one who threw the book. I mean, it's my book, but this guy who likes to bully me threw it! And I'm really sorry about your greenhouse and roses. I'll pay for the damages.." Where was that voice coming from?Was it hiding behind the shadows somewhere? Takashi bit his lip, then took a hesitant step forward. Should he be trying to get closer to the voice...? It wanted him to leave...But he couldn't just leave without apologizing properly to the other's face. "Ummm...mister...Where are you? Why are you hiding...?"
