[Shaman Types]
There are four types of shamans available when making your character. Each one is only a base/prompt and general outline of your character, so it is alright to have your character be a slight variation on the style. After picking a style that is best suiting to your character, input the given base Skill Points into the four categories: Strength, Defense, Dexterity, and Intuition. (The base states should have 12 available Skill Points). After the base, you have 9 more Skill Points that you can put into any variable of your choosing - there should be 21 Skill Points used in total after you're done. (For more information on how these stats affect your character or more on the combat system, go to the
Battle Archives Guide.)

[Spirit Levels]
The Spirit Level is the overall strength of the shaman's spirit partner. There are three basic types, mirroring the [Basic/Intermediate/Advanced] system. They are Ghost, Seirei, and Kami. Everyone starts at a spirit partner at Ghost level. To progress, they must go through an empowerment process in the roleplay. Depending on the Spirit Type, certain Skill Points can be added to the shaman's stats on whichever areas they prefer.
Ghost - +1 Skill Point
The lowest level Spirit Type. These are common spirits with average power.Seirei - + 3 Skill Points
The average level Spirit Type. These are the more powerful spirits that professional shamans hold, and are sometimes known as Master-Class spirits.Kami - + 5 Skill Points
The highest level Spirit Type. Also known as God-Class spirits, they are the hardest spirits to master or become.
