Since our (what I'm assuming is the first) meeting wasn't exactly... organized too well and ended fairly fast, I think there should be a person to organize the content we discuss during the meetings.
*Trying to elect self to this position*
Here's the rough idea of what I would do, concerning meetings. The steps are: 1.) Identify the problem.
- People post issues in the Forum (or a Subforum made especially for these kind of things) that they think we should go over. When a certain amount of similar Topics arise (like 5 separate Topics regarding a certain issue), then I could make one Sticky topic highlighting that issue. [There could be more than one issue to discuss at a time, to make meetings longer.]
2.) Gather ideas.
- People then post in the Sticky Thread on their viewpoints of the idea. We contribute our thoughts/ideas on what should be done, until a certain deadline (like a few days after the Topic is made, which would be notified by everyone through a Guild Announcement).
3.) [Optional, if there are multiple ideas to be done] Appoint positions for the ideas.
- I'll analyze the ideas we have set up, and organize them in slots. Slot #1 will be filled by the most important issue, Slot #2 for the next most important issue, and it continues down in that fashion.
4.) Post the idea(s) in an Announcement, then schedule a meeting.
- I'll send out a Guild Announcement describing the issue(s) to be discussed in Towns by importance and what it involves. A date will be set along with a certain time (Eastern Time, if I'm to schedule it), and that'll be the end of my part for that cycle until a new issue arises.

We should definitely have a subforum of job listings, where people will say what job or task they would like to perform for the guild

You sound pretty experienced and confident with the role. biggrin
Now then, I say a Meetings subforum should be created.
We could have a sticky with basic information, everything stated above by Okami, keep track of previous meetings and basically report everything that has to do with the towns."

We should definitely have a subforum of job listings, where people will say what job or task they would like to perform for the guild That would make it easier to find who wants to work on what in the Guild. :o

I've actually never held this position before in any other Guild, to tell the truth. I don't know why, but I can brain think pretty clearly tonight for some reason, so all these ideas just came together in a creative bundle. =w=;;
An archive on past Towns Meetings would definitely help. That way, new members could review what we discussed so they know what's going on, based on what we've discussed. That, and as time passes and our ideas change, we could go back over the idea again and make the necessary revisions. :o
