Have any of you tried them out before?
A friend who is trying to lose weight is currently doing P90X and I occasionally do it with her to keep it motivated. I don't mind it too much, but even the weight work (which is almost all body weight anyway) is high reps. Intensity is about moderate although I'm sure it's easy to modify it to be more difficult.
My biggest peeve is not having an actual personal trainer to tell you if your technique is wrong. The actual video didn't explain the mechanics of the dive bomber pushup so I couldn't even figure out how I was supposed to do it. (What muscles need to be engaged and when? What parts need to remain static? How is my hand placement supposed to change in relation to my shoulders over time? etc. etc.) I had to search online and watch a few youtube videos to get an idea of proper technique.
Besides that, I guess I don't mind the concept too much since it does make people who would otherwise sit around all day move around a bit.
Your thoughts?
