Vanity sat by her window and tapped her pencil against her electric piano. She wrote a couple notes down and continued to play a song she was making up. She smiled as she finished the last of the notes and stretched her arms. She looked out of the window again, thinking about things.

Raven knocks on the door frame. Um, excuse me. I was told this dorm is open.

Vanity looks over at the girl. "Come on in. They have you about set up in that room over there. There's a bed and dressers, just feel free to do so." She stood up and smiled. "By the way, I'm Vanity." She held her hand out for her.

Raven shook the girl's hand. I'm Raven. Nice to meet you. She unloaded her stuff on the bed and began to unpack.

"You too," she said and sat back down at her piano again. She smiled as her fingers danced across the keys, playing the song she just wrote.

Raven put up her posters and put her clothes away. Then, she flung herself onto her bed and listened to the music. You're really good.

Vanity smiled modestly. "Nah, i'm alright. I'm not as good as my brother though. He's a muscian. And an animal person." she looked down at the keys, and began to play a more upbeat melody.

She laughed. "Darrien is my younger brother, he'll be 17 in a couple days, yes he's an animal person, and no he's not a shapeshifter, he's a angel demon hybrid," she explained and continued to play, smiling at the girl.

"Well there are some roaming these school grounds," Vanity answered. She decided to answer her question by the end of the song. She began the climax for the ending, and then with the final keystroke of the high C, she unfurled her black wings to show Raven. "I'm a demonic angel." she answered with a grin.

Cool, I've never met a demonic angel before. She sat up. I might have to go meet these shapeshifters. Then, she lay back down. Maybe later. I just got here.
