Biography: Hēi was born into a military family with his dad being a Captain in the imperial army. At the age of 6 he started to show signs of a firebender and he was sent away for training. After about 12 years of training Hēi had become a powerful firebender and left to find his parents.He returned to his hometown only to find that his father had been killed in battle and his mother grief stricken had taken her own life. Deciding that there was no reason for him to stay he left to join the army. Hēi Joined the army as a Colonel and after seven years of service he was promoted to the rank of General.
